final fantasy xiv endwalker spoilers. oh this is dire. yes, I made an alt just to do this again & didn't do new game + twitter: x.com/TiffanyM... twitch: / tiffanylockheart
@@NatiiixLP Oh, you can definitely skip all three of those cutscenes. I've done it on many alts. It's actually really funny because you just get teleported to the middle of thanalan.
I have a buddy, who was not particularly interested in the cutscenes/story, think it was weird that Raubahn was always hiding one of his arms behind his shoulder cape until I told him what happened.
I BARELY remember that guy, and from what I remember, I disliked him. ARR-era players must have been super starved for content. I couldn't give less of a fuck if some rando died.
When I saw the "Complete: Ride the lustrous dog" notification during my playthrough, I laughed out loud. It made me realize that that cutscene really went from 0 to 100.
I didn't skip this cutscene, but I definitely have a screenshot of the quest objective "Ride the Lustrous Dog" getting checkmarked on the UI as I'm staring at Zodiark. Great bit of tonal difference.
I skipped a cutscene where I was running across a bridge after some fake holy cult... now I can't find that elf bastard who took us in... I miss his upbeat attitude.
Thats why i love Endwalker so much. We all waiting to beat Zodiark in the end, but you doing MSQ, watching cutscene, seen " The Dark Inside unlock" and its 1st boss fight in entire expansion and you like WTF IS THIS
@@reneil8958 i did this on launch day. or rather, it was around 4 AM at night. had been playing for quite a bit and everyone who queued up for the duty was shocked and tired as hell. we wiped a few times before completing it, but the experience was really cool lmao
I expected Endwalker to have cool trial bosses considering it was the Ascians plot Endgame. However i never expected the first one to be Zordiark and even less the nearly inmediate next one to be friggin Hydaelyn.
@@FlamedramonX Well, I anticipated Hydaelyn but for the wrong reason, in my head it was something like: Anima first Trial, Zodiark 2nd and Hydaelyn last because like FF3 and the First, with the disparition of Zodiark (Darkness) Hydaelyn would have became a risk because of the overwhelming Light so we should have to destroy her too.... Was wrong on everything outside that, we will fight her
This exact same thing happened to me except it was in post EW, I skipped a cutscene by accident and suddenly I was on a red planet, I was like WTF HOW DID I GET HERE
I remember joking to a streamer once that "Ride the lustrous dog" is probably the most innocuous lead-in to "Fight against an eldritch god" that could've been used. Good to see I'm not alone on that opinion.
I remember I had to stop playing for the night when I got to this trial, so I logged out right in front Zodiark’s face. When I logged back in the following night, the bombastic BGM suddenly blasting from outta nowhere surprised the hell outta me.
Without going into detail, something similar happened to me in Dawntrail. I skipped as a scene was panning out / fading to black, thinking that'd be it and was absolutely horrified when I was teleported somewhere and shit had GONE DOWN. Like there was death and destruction, it was bad. Don't skip your cutscenes folks...
Dawntrail spoilers: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I skipped that one cutscene that started with the train in Shalooni and ended up in Tuli seeing Gulool Ja dead☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Zone 4, after you fix the railway. The cutscene starts with Happy people seeing the train departing again... SPOILERS And ends in Tuliyollal trone room, with Gulool JaJa diying body in front of you
@@zaryalace7475 lol what's that supposed to mean? It's totallly on you if you skip, they even warn you to set aside sufficent time for that one as a lot of cutscenes will play in sequence.
The first time I played this my dad started to call me and say that he needed me for something important, so I came back to zodiark and nearly shit my pants
Cutscene skippers live such exciting lives. One minute they're hanging out with their dog, the next they're standing before god. Its like having amnesia.
I did this in fucking dawntrail... I was skipping through the boring bullshit of texas until suddenly one of the scenes I skipped takes me out of texas and some very sad and important things happened all of a sudden.
if i come accross as a jackass, then so be it. .. but why would you skip a msq cutscene on the moon, after having being forewarned to hurry and while you know that zenos and fandaniel are on the way. you were on your way to the last intact seal. even it would have been just a fight on the surface to try and protect the last seal, wouldnt you have wanted to see the events leading up to it?
Who dares to skip FFXIV cut scenes? I can't stop recommending to all players to watch all the MSQ scenes. It's the highest point of the game. Please watch all cutscenes and enjoy this amazing story.
I'm going to assume this is a skit acted out with the help of new game plus because I don't think my brain can handle thinking there are people who made it this far in the game and still skip cutscenes.
it is yeah but tbf, and I love the story dearly this isn’t me, but skipping msq and playing for whatever endgame content someone hyperfocuses on, like raiding, is an equally valid way to play
Honestly, I figured what the joke would be from the thumbnail, but because RU-vid keeps recommending this since it came out, I decided to watch it so I never have to see it again. You skipping a significant cutscene on a purpose-made alt isn't what I'd consider a great joke, unless I'm missing something
Always skip every cutscene. They should add an option to skip cutscenes automatically, because it takes a long time to press Esc to skip them manually each time... Same for dialogues, a button to skip them directly rather than spam the clicks would be very useful. Who cares about their lives, seriously... No character is interesting, the pace of the quests is slow, the story sucks, it could be nice with fewer quests, more rhythm, better development, and not long, often useless quests, with sometimes 2/3 nice quests and finally useful dialogues, or nice cutscenes. 80% of the time, we are bored in front of it, and once in a while we get a nice surprise. But it's not enough, so you might as well skip the whole thing.
You made an alt, went through 4 expansions of story, just to make a cutscene skip joke instead of just doing ng+ where you wouldn't have had to go through as much? O-o Talk about going around your bum to get to your elbow.
Skipping the stupid dog part is legit, that was the first cutscene I ever skipped in this and you still get the followup one to explain the stupid unsatisfying way zodiark dies. The stupid dog is your first indication that the game is going downhill. "Subversion" using unestablished nonsense instead of the epic confrontation they'd worked toward since ARR...yay. The stuff in the past was OK and the scions&friends development was still ok but damn...3 garbage villains to finish off the arc (the unlikable unrelatable discount Kefka, the overdone mary sue clearance bargain bin Sephiroth knockoff with no backstory or logic, and the last-second mcguffin-energy-based crazy lady like necron), what a massive disappointment like this dog.
@@TheEPICskwock I dont have to do anything, you will be judged by St Peter and sent to a hell of your own creation to view an unskippable cutscene for all eternity.
I dont regret skipping Wuk Lamat cutscenes. It does seem like they lead nowhere interesting or unpredictable, so that’s a good thing, and also says a lot about her character. Now scenes with Erenville is one you should never skip. One minute a calamitous monster is released, the next second you are following a hand from the classic FF menus.
I'll never understand why people play through MSQ just to skip cutscenes, and I don't mean the people who skip consistently to get to endgame. I mean the people who do it to only be half interested and half not interested in the lore & story.
@@Prodigy_Vesper It's especially wild to be skipping Endwalker cutscenes specifically because just about every single story beat is wrapping up a story thread that's been hanging since the beginning of the entire game. If you don't care what's happening in Endwalker, you've simply wasted your time and should just play something else.
@@Silverslate 1000% agreed, I couldn't imagine wasting my time like that after going through all these expansions, but hey. As the infamous quote goes "you don't pay my sub!" lmfao.
Hello TiffanyLockheart my name is Isaiah and I have something important to say to you. God loves you, and he wants to save you not just from ourselves. But ultimately, from the devils clutches. Do not be afraid to come to the Lord for his love is for evreyone Shalom Shalom.
I know it’s just for laughs, but you actual dirty cutscene skippers make me sick. My wife skips the cutscenes and says the story sucks and I constantly think about divorcing her 😂
