Just watched the previous video and felt the exact same way, I wouldn't have given the brother anything but then realised how important it was to Dimas well being and as man of God, Dimas one who keeps his word.

It's the best thing actually, there's a lot of people on internet who just want to get famous doing little helps and going away, what Vasya do is what make me follow all his videos, he has a pure heart and really cares about the ones he is helping.

Checking up on people that he helps is the responsible thing to do. Some people can become overwhelmed. This young man has lived through some rough times that will give him the strength and courage to continue bettering himself. I hope he has a lot of good experiences and good fortune for the rest of his life.

I see the kind ov videos you're talking about and it's sad honestly but let's not generalize. Even condescending help is help. In my country, france, which is not so different in mindset with anglo countries, there are people doing such work as sergey's. Good people are everywhere.

@@TheMusicalKnokcers Condescending/patronizing help is still a handout and diminishes the person. It's not really help, but temporary relief from misery. Sergey's help is not a handout but a leg up. He gives dignity back to the person and then this dignity and confidence grow. That the French are not much different in mindset, is disappointing. I thought derision was the Anglo thing. The Brits deliberately keep a layer of "deplorables" in their society. These people get handouts but never a leg up. And there is a reason for it.

I grew up in an alcoholic household too also getting abused. It's funny when you look around now and see all the kids that get help from child services because when I was a kid, I knew nobody was ever coming to save us. Even when the police ended up involved nothing changed. Alcohol shouldn't be legal imo.

Had to stay with an abusive mother because father left and mother would not let him take us too. A mother should not be evil. It pains me to see people hate on the system today, while it isn't perfect, at least theres more help than I the 1980s
