Brilliant mate. I'm not a broadcaster but I love the show. I love big Ange and got behind him from the off. Great quips and quotes, keep them coming and apologies in being behind with your stuff. Ange is our leader ✊
Mate, I watch all of your videos since Ange signed but when you did the Aussie accent for Ange you made me spray beer from my nose on to my phone as I laughed!
Hello is Hungarian for hello lol its actually Szía pronounced 'see ya' also the same for good bye which is the same in English slang cya "cya later' Anyway I'm an Aussie Hungarian in the UK and found your first attempt at an Aussie accent attempt pretty dam good for a Brit!
Somewhere over the rainbow lets see where your at by december, been able to string a few results together since he got here but am supposing you need to focus on something other than 4th place right, behind Motherwell Hearts and Rangers
I got full confidence in Ange. I've watched him take my favorite team Brisbane Roar to the promised land, and I've seen him take Australia to glory through the Asia cup and qualify then qualified for the World Cup. The man has achieved everything outside of Europe, so it's only natural for him to take on the next challenge which is win in Europe. I believe he will surprise a lot of people when he does
My only gripe with Ange, and look im a Roar fan also, is he can have a thin skin. Didn't like how he left the socceroos the way he did either! I think that brutal Craig Foster interview years ago gave him a disdain for the media!
@@martin-d4h fair enough mate, but he did leave the socceroos in the lurch! Suck it up and do your job and accept criticism. Ange the God isn't beyond reproach!
@@tommygunn8355 Yeah he did have a Bresha flop to thank as well lol (love you Bresha forever but to everyone else that was disgraceful). It was an unfortunate end to his coaching career and he was at the time closely becoming a much loved icon to the Australian public. A lot of the speculation surrounding his job as Aussie top coach was to whether he was going to continue after the world cup which he wasn't prepared to commit too because $$$ were a plenty to work elsewhere. So just before the world cup campaign where Australia had arguably the strongest team we've ever assembled which he was a big influence over lose its head coach which became a massive disruption for the players, who were now talked with a new coach. I forgive him for putting his personal success before the national teams because look where his career has taken him but it was bad timing to let personal success seduce instead of fulfilling your coaching commitments to the socceroos, a team which he had just taken to glory at the Asia cup which wasn't a cake walk
@@jakenorthbriz The westfield billionaire did not like his "attitude" is likely the real reason. Socceroos were part of his fiefdom. Massive egos clashing and the old money always win.
@@petewilliam4295 Is it no coincidence that Celtic didn't function as good without his aussie champion Tom Rogic today? He looks like somebody who Ange really needs out on the pitch.
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou fires quirky McDonald's line: 'If you are a confirmed vegetarian, you don't drop into Macca's just because you are hungry, mate'
Brendan was generally very tactful and diplomatic in his press conferences and there’s nothing wrong with that. I prefer the no nonsense ‘Ange’ straight talking approach, he doesn’t even miss a beat, any hint of disrespect and he’s right back at them. I don’t imagine the journalists who’ve had to pay an annual fee to attend press briefings at Ibrox are ever going to speak out of turn.
Th "age of Ange" Australian story . Great documentary about him . He wants more success than you can imagine . An improved Brendan Rodgers , just wait and see
Freedom in Melbourne 4 hours ago and Good to see Ange is making an impression. Treating the media like a Mic Malthouse, David Parkin or Kevin Sheedy, he definitely is a Melbourne boy, he learnt from the best. Ange even though a mad Carlton fan is a ripper always has been. Keep up the good work enjoy your shows 👍
@@martin-d4h 100% agree. I’m from Sydney and the Melbournians have been very brave. The coppers on the other hand have been disgusting thugs. The worst in the world is a title they own now.
Great video mate, love the bad accents. You're a likeable bloke Hammish, great positivity and insights. We share a love for "the great man". Go Celtic!!!
Ange reminds me of Wayne Bennett, the great coach of the Brisbane Broncos rugby league club, Queensland, and Australia, who had journos for brekkie, mate!
Sometimes as fans we feel the need to analyse everything involving our team, nice to take a break from that and just have a laugh... after all, football is what we enjoy, it should make us happy, it doesnt always have to be about the pressures that come with be a big club like Celtic... Great video Hamish! Bring on more of the lighter stuff of football!!👍
Trust the process! ⭐ Thank goodness the Eddie Howe deal fell through, I adore Ange. 👌 Although the first thing I thought when I heard the news was "But Hamish has bought a mug..."! 😳😉
What isn’t known about Australian managers are the attacking and tactical nous. The greatest Australian and in fact General in WW1 was Monash who devised the combined strategy of artillery and men with tanks. Read about it. Australians always attack, we don’t know another way and we have some pretty decent blokes leading us. When we don’t, we still fight anyway
Trust the process... It'll be alright in the long run... PS: had a good belly laugh at your attempts at an Aussie accent.. Not the worst i have heard.. 🤣
In ange we trust. The man is quality , I admire the philosophy that he is trying to instil in the players and at celtic and its paying off, some of the football we have played has been nothing but phenomenal when going forward , we ut all the silly mistakes out and we are some team so thank you ange for the exciting times being bk around celtic Park 👍 👏
That accent attempt cracked me up )) Trust the process.... the Carlton boy pushing australian mentality into australian soccer instead of dour traditional european coaches.. ya dont die wondering. Some of his comments could have been from Malthouse, Sheedy or Bennett !! Not a fan of soccer but I was hooked to the radio when Ange was coaching Brisbane Roar in the finals. All the better for Celtic as he is about winning and not for the faint hearted. Good luck and best wishes from Melbourne
I lived in australia during the time they won the asain cup. I was hooked on ange back then because of his attitude and funny interviews There was a decent enough buzz even amongst non football supporting aussies at the time because of how well he had the socceroos playing. I'm delighted our fans are backin ange now With the fans fully behind him and the team finally starting to click we could be in for a very bright future hopefully Hail Hail
