He basically did. Not sure if it was based on this, but Key and Peele did a sketch that was pretty similar to this. Except instead of being in a church, it's an R&B duo where one of the guys is secretly gay and in love with the other one - it comes out on stage, and then when he tries to walk it back he sounds like this guy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9gxz8wREMPs.html
When I was in the 8th grade a parish priest took a few of us ice skating at a rink near his previous parish. He dropped us off for the 2 hour skating session and went to visit a few friends in the neighborhood. When he picked us up it was obvious the friends he visited must have been at a local bar. During the ride home he exclaimed to us “priests are 1 of 2 things, they’re gay or they’re drunks, and I’m a drunk”. It was the most interesting skating outing I ever attended.
George yelling from the back “um, no but I talked to him and he’s a real nice guy” cracked me up, especially considering he was drugged in Columbia I don’t trust his judgement
I grew up COGIC (1:44) and busted out laughing when he said he was new to that church denomination 😂. Cuz y’all don’t know the half of it. Most if not all the shit in this video happens every week in a COGIC church TO THIS DAY! 🤣
I think it’s “Take my hand and run… tonight, to dine with you and dance They won’t understand… us (not sure abt us)they don’t understand” It’s honestly pretty good, he got some serious potential and has definitely earned at least a coffee date
He is saying "Take my hand tonight and I will dance. They wont understand. They wont understand." He mumbles and drags on words plus the British accent and poor audio mixing makes it really hard to hear.
You know what makes Bobby so funny, he has a good sense of humor and genuinely laughs at the funny stuff Andrew shows him, but at the same time he can keep his composure during his own jokes that makes them hilarious.
I work in a restaurant and have these regulars that come in probably once a month. They’re a family of two grandparents, a mom, dad and two small children. Over the past year or so I’ve gotten to know this family more and more. The grandparents and parents are extremely religious. The dad is married to the grandparent’s daughter. So anyway the mother in law has told me how her son in law “used” to be gay but has since become straight since joining their church. Apparently he preaches at the church how God saved him and how it was the devil who “made” him turn gay earlier in his life. It’s actually really sad because anyone with two eyes can clearly see he is struggling. I mean here is a gay man who is living a lie and married to a women in 2023. I mean what kind of example is that to set for your children? What are the kids going to think once they realize their father is living a lie? And how are they going to feel once they realize their father is ashamed of who he really is? I can’t believe people like this still exist in 2023…
It just easier to date woman and live life . Me personally would lose all the friends and some family members would stop talking to me . On top of that it just makes life easier.
Is Kirk madness really Kirk Cameron? Or is he just a troll? Lol. Who would openly admit that they'd let their antiquated homophobia override a love for their own offspring? Parent of the year right there. I'd love my daughter no matter what.
I went to an all black baptist church in Portland from the age of 10-17. Not kidding you, every week sermon was 30-40 mins and worship was 30 mins at beginning of service. However, throughout sermon our pastor would break out in song and the whole band would play and we’d worship easily another 30 mins lol 😂. Loved it so much. A lot of two step in the pulpit…if you know, you know.
This is two years old now I'm deep diving trying to find the name of that song or the artist name i can't find jack sheeeeit. Just heard it here and i think it's going to haunt me for at least a few weeks. I gotta find a whole copy! They never mention this again?
If they were praying to begin with, and the God they were praying to deemed homosexuality a sin, then praying that away would be a bit redundant. I will say being judgmental about people is a huge issue in itself, but we can't dictate what is right or wrong just because of preference and if something does not conform to it does not make it false. If God did deem certain sexual acts a sin, and 1 does not agree with it, doesn't make God false or even wrong. Also doing those acts doesn't mean a person can't retain their belief in that religion, they just cant pass their own opinion as truth.
With the Ashlee Simpson thing, that was her second performance of the show and she had already played the song that the drummer triggered to play instead of her second song. There was no saving that. It was over right then.
Take my hand, love Tonight's [the] time we dance They won't understand They won't understand Sounds like a chick singing with a harmoniser, that's why it sounds weird :D
