That rootbeer color is just the perfect vintage look imo, but I can't wait to see those new color ways. I hope they restock the the 3 handed brown and green dial that said it was a limited edition. I hope it's not true as that color was a gem to.

Great review of an excellent watch in this new beautiful rich color way that gives this watch a more year round style, as opposed to the summertime vibes of the originally offered color ways. The aluminum dial adds to the richness of the colors. I’ve been really enjoying this watch since it arrived a few weeks ago. It’s a keeper that will last well past the honeymoon phase!

Tis a very fine looking time piece m8. The nylon strap you chose looked good also. I agree also would be nice to see San Martin do some more 3 handers I cant say GMT interests me much. Will get one for my collection at some point. I do like the SN 0129-4 model red dragon looks quite nice!

Thanks Al. Excellent watch and excellent review. If I hadn't spent all my watch budget already I'd be going for this. Both colourways are very nice though I agree the root beer is the best . A GMT hand should be easy to see , so the red is perfect.

Great review of a beautiful watch 👍. I bought the original light blue version last year and I love it, the case and bracelet are superb and I really like the colours they used , so far I still prefer that version to the later ones, but some are very close 😎

Love San Martins, I'm with you on the GMT, I've 2 now, that's enough. If you are after a slim diver, check out Proxima's PX1697 - quality on a par with San Martin.

San Martin have one of the best reputations on AliExpress for quality. I didn't encounter any quality issues with the example I received. However, if you are very worried about quality issues, then of course you need to carefully consider this before going ahead. You may want to check out a few more reviews as well. I would rather get glycine combat sub at about the same price .. Glycine watches have a rich heritage dating back to 1914 and is Swiss made . It has its history in the military and space missions..all round a better quality product with a rich history.

San Martin blows Seiko out of the water at this price point. Seiko uses hollow end links, pressed clasp, and San Martin has a sapphire crystal.

As an admitted Seiko fanboy, I can tell you that this watch is not a copy of any watch. And I admit, Seiko can only give us a mineral crystal and a cheap bracelet with a pressed clasp for the price of this.
