If they give Koby even HALF of this for Honesty Impact, the conversations and cope that will overtake the community will provide peak entertainment for weeks 🤣
@@blackestbutter All they really gotta do is cook with the battleship bag flashback. Show some scenes of him really throwing hands with Garp during training or something and they'll be straight.
Haki is crazy. Joyboy's haki solo splitting the sky and flooring the Gorosei and now Garp's haki animated?, Cant wait to see Joyboy's haki animated too
@@Tekking101just imagining you passing it down to your son and 50 years later your grandson will ask "dad why is there a fist framed on the night stand? "well son your grandad was what is commonly known as a weeb" "....that does not answer my question" "look son grandad never told me why he framed that. but he did make me swear on your mother's grave that you will inherit it" "the fuck am i gonna do with it?" "ASK YOUR GRANDAD!!! MABEY HE WILL GIVE YOU AN ANSWER!!!!!"
Could discuss Roger, Whitebeard and Vegapunk Final Speech. Roger wanted to look to the past being in joy boy time. Whitebeard took things in the present, not even wanting to go after teach for killing someone part of his crew since looking back won't bring thatch back. Vegapunk all about the future.
Oh! I just thought of a scene I'd liked discussed or analyzed. Luffy punching Don Krieg through his spikey cape. Because it really is the perfect demonstration of how Luffy would go on to stand against tyrants and seemingly untouchable assholes in the future.
I think it's important to note that Garp's heart definitely wasn't "in it" for the Marineford war. So aside from the ridiculous collateral damage he would cause, it did also make sense for him not to go all out because he felt very conflicted by the entire situation to begin with.
Alright so I learned in the past week or so, Garp can give his ship the command to jump, and it will do it without talking back, Marcus Mars finally did his homework, Emeth is shinny, JoyBoy has a schlong that rivals Zuenisha with that Haki bomb, and that Garp can fist an Island in ways Rick Sanchez wishes he could.
I haven’t watched a tekking video since I started college 😭😭 Omg this video made me so happy . AND TEKKING FROM THAT LIVE LIKE 5 YEARS AGO !!! I BECAME A CHEETO AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
Please continue this series! it was great going back and looking at Garp. I know I didn't keep any of that in mind when I saw the episode so I'm excited to rewatch it under that lens!
Garp's punch to launch his ship into the middle of the island was more impressive imo. He sent that ship flying with only the wind force from his punch like WHAT
That never really was shown in the manga how. That's why I liked the logic of this, like a ball or water bottle filled with air being pulled below the water surface and released. Will shoot the darn thing up at stupid fast speed 😂
Something Oda said in an SBS is that if you’re Conqueror’s Haki is strong enough you can pick and choose what it targets, could be why Koby didn’t move, he knew Garp wasn’t gonna hurt him.
When Toto said it only took 3 years to rain. I don't know if it was mentioned yet but when the rain starts falling in alabasta after the defeat of Croc, Toto the man from Yuba who gave the water to Luffy said it only took 3 years for rain to appear showcasing his faith in Cobra.
Watching this gave me a revelation. •Garp fought an island •Island is related to geography •Geography is everything •An atlas is geography •That’s why Tekking didn’t want to see Atlas die. If this was obvious, forgive me because I guess I’m a little slow 😅
Garp really feels like the Anakin Skywalker of the Marines. A hero beloved by the public who has a habit of disobeying the higher ups and doing things his way. However, he gets away with it because he’s _that damn effective._
I missed on the community post but on my back I have a few scenes that are really important to me as a tattoo Brooks: "I'm so happy I lived" Franky being told to forgive himself Sanji telling everyone he will never forget everyone at the baratie I have one moment for each crew member
1:18 My favourite moment in One Piece is still Luffy putting his straw hat on Nami's head to go fight Arlong. I'll never forget the look of Nami's eyes in that scene. :D
Also a nice and (I feel) largely unnoticed detail is how they animated his punch to show he's off his game. Ryuo is the pinnacle of armament emission. While the punch was still incredible, Garp just fires an unrefined Haki blast, and he's not proud of that.
@Tekking101 Actually the theme that played during the Galaxy Impact was Luffy The Trusted Man. It's actually the main theme of Stampede and one of Luffy's theme songs. The one you were thinking of is actually called Bullet Vs. Supernovas.
when this moment started all I could do was giggle with excitement and anticipation. I was not disappointed in any way this met and exceeded expectations.
Garp biggest help was doing NOTHING at marineford Dude gave Marco a love tap Gave luffy an easy pass and even told sengoku to hold him down, for the sake of CLIFFORD and Marineford OLD MAN did the least so WB could save Ace, best help WB got
My fav thing about Tekking is that he just makes a video about literally anything one piece he likes or care about. Great content def my #1 most watched youtuber
Garp: Alright! It’s time for the ICBG!! Bogard: Oh boy. Here we go. Brace yourselves! Tashigi: Wait what does ICBG stand fo- Garp: INTERCONTINENTAL BALLISTIC GARP!!!! *Yeets ship hundreds of feet in the air* Hachinosu: *gets impacted galactically*
Tekking im glad you did this video garp is one of my favorite characters and im so glad to finally see him at full power i rewatched the galaxy impact like 4 times
A rising tide lifts all ships. Whenever you see White Beard, Garp, or Rodger preform an amazing feat, it lifts all 3 up. It also lifts Rox up unless we find out he was a weakling.
As long as the video is structured that makes sense, you should be good. A bonus would be nice segues for each part of the video (and I emphasize “bonus” because it’s not always necessary and usually comes about naturally). Some scenes that I’d love to see you dissect are: - Marco reminiscing about Whitebeard and Lunarians (after he called it quits during the raid on Onigashima) - “Kurozumi was born to burn.” - Zoro’s speech after his loss to Mihawk - Sanji asking Luffy to join the crew again (even though Luffy didn’t see it as him leaving)
Superman, All Might..... yeah that feels accurate to where Garp sits in the One Piece world. Also imagine if Koby gets to this level. Luffy might have a little challenge. And i do stress little.
Loved the structure and focus. Great for these kinds of videos, I felt like pure content review would be redundant. You could even have done some more character analysis from the panels I think.
I would love to see this series or style continue im not sure if it gets talked about a lot since it's early one piece but usopp's speech during the mr 4 fight
Yes! With a series as long as One Piece theres a lot of tiny moments where im like "oh yea this was cool af" and my friends who are first time watcher/reader see my nostalgia over those moments.
I feel like garp 100% has a framed portrait of his fist from his youth or galaxy impact on his wall in a gold frame like you do or a full oil painting of it
I not sure I agree. It looked like Garp pulled his fist back with incredible power & speed and the suction of pulling his fist back is what pulled the ship into the air. Oh, when I said the speed of his fist I mean bullet time obviously. Everything in anime is in bullet time nowadays, even long conversations between enemy combatants.
Roger deadass stated that if the marines want capture him they need to send garp and sengoku, and yet you got fans saying "naw they ain't all that " , biased fans aresomething else
I think it was stated in Sabaody that the Marines need two Admirals and several dozen battleships to try and capture Rayleigh. How anyone thinks Roger wouldn't need high level people to capture him is beyond me.
Okay, I need to think of a very random scene for you to cover. Let's see, uh, Eneru's face-fault? No. Helmeppo's hammer-gun? No, already a video on that. Oh, I know, I know! A video where the Straw Hats first encounter Chess out at sea and Luffy asks, "You think he's a doctor?" A whole video on that one random scene! ... Actually though, a video discussing the different face-fault moments might be pretty fun. XD
That's why Garp is one of my favorite characters! You don't see him a lot but when you do you know it's go time! Also I think you missed when that killed Ace they had to hold Garp back so he wouldn't kill anybody.
Love this style of video I hope to see more in the future. After the seeing the Galaxy Impact makes me wonder what would have happened to Akainu if Sengoku didn't stop Garp. I can't wait to see Kuma's punch on Saturn and the devil forms of the gorosei.
Garp De Burst is my favorite moment of one piece because of the build up to it and wondering if he got that move from Luffys Escape on him after water 7. Or was it his thing always, and the fact that he didn’t do it to Luffy, Shows his care for Luffy and only doing what he feels Luffy can handle.
Loved the recent episode, also its so great ot finally get confirmation garp litterally punched his ship into the air just to do galaxy impact that was so great to see
