The neckband looks dope! I have the glasses and mobile dock, now I can't live without them... have been using them everyday with my Switch play TOTK, they are just great!
Very useful review. I purchased already but most of the reviews I’ve seen don’t talk about the user interface or experience so this has been amazing. Very glad to see it- thank you 🙏
Thanks for another great video Ircha. I've been wanting to get these ever since I saw BeatEmUps talk about them and it's nice to see another trustworthy person talk about them! They look so fun!
I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. It's gonna take a couple of months before I can afford one, but thanks for highlighting all the features.
As someone who wears corrective glasses, I'm glad you addressed that in the video. These look really interesting. I'd love to be able to remote play my Xbox while curled up in bed 👍
I was an early backer for these and have been using it for streaming and PS5 remote play too. I only wish there was hardware IPD (horizontal display distance) adjustment. I have an IPD around 70mm and the outside edge of each display is blurry for me. I can see each eye would be clearer if I could move them further to to side, away from each other but there appears to be no option for this. The focus nobs also seem finiky on mine, likey they need readjusting with every use of the glasses. Cool idea though and I look forward to this tech getting better, like higher resolution (for reading small text of PCs or some newer Game subtitles).
I have the glasses with the neckband and while the build quality is great the actual image is lacking. This is mainly due to the lenses that the image is projected upon. They should decrease curvature of the lenses. If your eyesight isn't near perfect then the sides of the screens are quite blurry. The myopic adjusters simply do not compensate enough. For gamers, if you are going to play anything with important HUD info, such as health bars, ammo, etc. that is on either side of the screens you will have a rough time. Also, setting this up with a ps5 is finicky. You need to pair your controller to the neckband and set the controller to USB and not Bluetooth on the ps5. They are nice but not gamer ready. Build quality is top notch but the actual image you are viewing is sub par. And I am not sponsored so I can say that.
Very very intriguing! I'm highly tempted! Is the screen opaque or transparent? The overlay you used made the games look slightly see-through, but obviously most gaming devices have a solid screen. If the settings make the screen solid, then I'll probably get these.
@@JB.zero.zero.1 $200 is 2/3 of a Nintendo Switch. That's already pretty hefty for a gaming accessory. $1000 is almost the price of 2 PS5s. That's literally unheard of. You can buy 3 VR headsets for that cost.
100 bucks per set of glasses?? you're a fool lol. even normal glasses can cost HUNDREDS.. let alone glasses with high res screen on them. With that said maybe 400-600 is a decent deal for these. 1000 is a little too much but it's new tech.
Oh I have never heard about these, looks interesting thanks for the review. Reminds me of your baby pic with you wearing sunglasses , now an up dated versions. Fete lols. 😋
Which is better, the blue ones or the black ones? I should’ve bought the blue ones but ive had my black ones for 2 months now, i get some connectivity issues sometimes but they sent me another usb c to usb c cable & no issues yet. I love them, played Tears of the Kingdom & No Mans Sky on the Switch mostly, along with Minecraft when Im in the mood to work on my Adventure Map, very relaxing to game on these glasses, just wished I opted for the blue glasses. Also subbed. Always enjoy seeing more people give Viture more exposure, they are awesome glasses.
