Hi Judy also the first year of marriage is difficult even if you were close home you were probably going to struggle. Give yourself some grace there's a lot of change all at once. You'll be ok don't pressure yourself in having things under control.
I could relate to almost everything you mentioned, Judy. Those are the culture shocks I experienced when I first moved to the Netherlands 10 months ago. And it gets easier with time. But before I adjusted, I hated almost everything. By the way, I think for me it was alittle easier with the language because we all spoke Kiswahili as my partner is Kenyan too. I know by the time I watch this video, you have already adjusted. To the new country and, of course, to marriage as well. Because marriage also needs some adjusting. Sending you hugs.

When I first lived abroad I fished for the Kenyan community on Facebook.. or email the embassy ask them how you can contact anyone in the Kenyan community in Poland..
