I would make the same choice. Zflip5 is awesome but S23 Ultra is just perfect.

Not perfect for a small bag like I use my s22 ultra is a pain to carry or even hold for to long

This had to be such a tough decision. For me, If the Z Flip had an SPen there would be no difficult decisions for me. I am currently an iPhone user and am having a hard time deciding between the two. I am not much of a selfie or picture taker anymore but do stream gaming from my phone on another account. I really love the customization of the flip, but love the SPen and battery life on the ultra. I hope the next round of flip phones are made compatible with SPens as well as with an increase in battery life and slightly better cameras and then I will definitely upgrade to that phone.

Zflip is not boring, theres a lot of customization and the 1 & 1/2 screen haha, it makes alot, I can remember when I'm using my first android phone which is Nokie and it has the screen as the cover screen of the flip 5 hehe

Z flip 5 is really good for basic stuff i love it, i love using it when im just chilling in bed, easier to bring in the gym, normal errands, or for a run. Sometimes you just need a quick peek of your messages its perfect! However, s23 ultra is perfect for everything but then it gets heavy and taking it in and out of the bag sometimes annoying haha if your bag is stuffed and you cant easily put it on smaller pockets. Ladies pockets! Good back up though because of its durability this is something i would only bring when i go out of town and taking pictures during the holidays, battery last longer as well.

Exactly I love my s22 ultra but to heavy and hard to get in and put of my small bag and hurts mu hand after awhile I want to upgrade to the z flip 5

i love my flip 5 and i used it for daily use.. and my iphone 14 pro max is my spare phone and is only for sch stuff😅 since i’m using the ipad and macbook. The iphone weight bothers me a lot, it’s heavy but yet durable. The flip is so compact & i always feel happy using it, it can fit into everything! Love that i can customise so much as compared to iphone. because iphone and s23 are similar size

@@biancasowesscoast6465 Bad enough for me to switch to Motorola and use it as a backup phone lol. I'm talking 4 hours screen on time of using the main screen on 5g/LTE. You get better battery using the cover screen more maybe add an hour or 2 if you primarily use that. Hoping the September update fixes it. I've dropped to 60hz refresh, disabled animations, use dark mode, optimized apps using good guardians, etc. Still not the best.

I would have done the same the ZFlip 5 is a beautiful phone but for me it’s the Ultra I want the Ultra so much right now and I hope can get it soon I’m currently an iPhone user and I miss android 🤖 so much

I did the same thing, I didn't like the camera zoom and battery life on the Z FLip 5 so I got the s23Ultra. They say its Lavender but all I see is Pink. I'm happy either way.

On paper ultra is better, but uniqueness and form z flip 5 wins. Spec improvements started to bore me when the smartphones reached to iphonesamsung10 without any real physical changes. "Smaller bezel, better lens, slimmer and bigger screen, better computer specs" bore me. To each their own.

I agree with your choice. I have an S20 and bought the zflip5. I love how cute it is, but i think i wouldve been happier with a s23. The flipping feels novel, but a slab phone is more convenient and practical. Opening/closing gets cumbersome, but the size is convenient for transport. Im keeping my s20 for days when i dont want to flip anymore. Lol

I had the note 20 ultra for around 4 years. I was a power user and I loved using it, from the pen to Samsung dex, I used it all. But lately I feel like using my phone less. The flip5 is great for that, I love the stye of it and the fact that the cover screen allows me to use the necessary apps in a quick way that doesnt make me distracted with other apps. And at the same time if I need heavier work I can just open it up, I can't do EVERYTHING the note can but I can do alot.

Still confused what to get. I have iphone 12 for work and i need a second phone for concert and gaming. Love the flip form factor but i know the camera isn’t that great 🥲. Can you give me your opinion?

If you're using it for concert or gaming s23ultra would definitely be my choice. You'll never regret the camera and the battery life is just AMAAAZING!! flip5 on the other side is good for portability though.

It really depends on your preference. Both are great in camera and battery but if you love customization then go for s23ultra but if you love simplicity then go for the iphone. One more thing if you're using like an ipad or imac then just go with the iphone. Because then it is so easy to transfer files 😊

@QueHacesAqui I'm doing the same next month, I hope. It is just too big and heavy but good camera screen etc. I switched from my iPhone 12 pro max, but I probably won't go back to iPhone not enough customisations.

At first i was no to the flip and the fold but i am always getting bjg phones and wanted to try something new so i got the flip 3 and i love it perfect size for me i wanted the five but to high so i am happy with the 3

You can go to settings then look for the keyboard settings and pick the 3x4 option for the keyboard :)

There’s nothing wrong with the Flip as long as you have another phone to swap to. I love switching between iOS and Android so I have the S23 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro Max but I’m probably not normal lol. I would love to get the 14 Pro Max but they removed the sim slot in the US so I’ll just keep the 13 Pro Max.

for durability I would say s23 ultra and for the rest of the specs too. But if you're not really constantly on your phone z flip5 is also good. but specs wise go for s23 ultra @@Lisabpp

I would say go for the s23 ultra if it is going to be your daily driver since the battery life can hold up a day. Though you’ll never go wrong with any of the phone 🩷
