- I switched to the Samsung Z Flip 5! I am so happy to share my big change to the android space as a long term user of having an iPhone, making the switch was really big but essential for me. In this video I talk about the great features of the Samsung Z flip that made me fall in love with the phone. There are so many other great features I didn’t talk about but here are some that really sold it for me:
Productivity and the Google accounts being synced up to my already large amounts of data that I need, All of my Samsung devices are already synced together, Reminders on my phone and how more efficient they are, How much faster the cover screen and display screen are, folding my phone is super nice and also really efficient for when I need to get work done, the battery life lasts me the whole day! excluding when I stream videos, The phone charges super fast (like actually) and lasts for a while. The phone also adapts to your habits so it recognizes patterns that you have when using the phone. Whenever you message a person with an android, the emojis animate!

Speaking about productivity with Samsung phones you can do split view and pop up mode .. super helpful with grocery lists and stuff... i switched from iPhone to the s23 ultra and love it....also Google meet is just like facetime, its super crisp and clear. It is also available for iPhone :)

I’ve also only had iPhone, I’m thinking about switching to Z Flip it’s just a freakin cute phone! It kinda reminds me of my GameBoy the way it’s a little square when closed

Do it!! It's so worth it and the quality is still just the same and has even more and better productive features! Plus it's a really innovative phone that it has more functions beyond texting, calling!

Go to settings, under notifications make sure that the notifications type are in Detailed. Also, you can long press any app then click on exclamation mark, then under notifications you can customise the way each app shows the notification individually (pop-up or detailed). If you chose pop-up, you can also make the phone create colorful lighting around the screen whenever you receive a specific notification.

How's the camera compared to the 11? I've seen a lot of people say that the camera isn't very good but it seems like they're all comparing it to the most recent iphones so I'm curious how much of a change I would actually see

I'm switching to the Z flip from an iPhone 11 too! It's coming in around the 16th I believe and I'm SO excited, the storage was a major reason for me getting a new phone as well, I have a photo hoarding problem (and when I say hoarding I mean that I currently have an album with 4,936 photos in it dedicated to Simon Blackquill from Ace Attorney and 10,539 photos in total) and I have so little storage that I think it's kind of breaking the rest of my phone (still usable but all of the glitches are highly frustrating), when I upgraded to the 11 from my decrepit 16GB 5S in 2020 I thought 64GB was unfathomably big but that ran out reaalll quick lol

i’m not 100% positive on this, but if you go to your settings and find notifications, you should be able to choose an option to wear your message can be read whether your phone is unlocked or not. once again, i’m not 100% certain if that’s how you change it, but i also had a struggle with the setting and i’m pretty sure that’s how i fixed it.

I have a iPhone 11 currently and had the same issues of payments coming out of my card an apple told me they couldn't disclose who was making the payments. I really think I am going to switch back to Samsung.

Honestly, I would do it. Samsung has better security than iPhone. I had noticed many missing payments coming out of my card and I found out that they're just scamming us cents. It's not fair. Switch to Samsung love, the quality of life is better--plus no spam calls lol

You can turn off the charging screen going to Settings -> Display -> Show charging information. You just need to turn off the Show charging information option

hi!! i am currently in a similar situation to yours (i also own an ip11 and having the same storage issues) and debating to do the switch! im just wondering, if you had an apple ecosystem, how badly did the switch affect you? i currently own EVERYTHING apple (phone, ipad, mac, watch, airpods) and im wondering how bad changing phones would affect my ecosystem :(

Girl same, but iphone literally does that on purpose for androids, I would actually send videos and messages thru whatsapp, the app keeps the quality of the phone 💘😌

I switched from the iPhone to the Z flip recently. Have you tried sending long videos via text message yet? Mine won’t allow me to send videos longer than 5 seconds and if it does, it’s pixelated. This is a huge CON for me because my family and I share videos through text a lot.

I have! I have texted other android users and the quality is really good however iphone has a "blockage" with androids and dims/cuts the quality of photos for android users. Many others have complained about this, unfortunately there is nothing wrong w your phone it's just iPhone doesn't maximize android usage.

I have been looking into buying the z flip 5 in the exact same color as you but i was second guessing because ive been an iphone user for years but tbh iphone has gotten boring to me same design everyone has one i want something different and this phone is absolutely stunning to me 🥹😍 i am definitely going to buy it ughh cant wait is the photo quality good? GIRLLL the camera quality is really good, it's a bit different from iPhone but the features really are super good. The front camera isn't as good but the back camera is really competent! I also as an iPhone user was risking the camera quality fall out but it's a bit better and a lot more accommodating. Uploading isn't as bad as I thought!!
