In my opinion it's a very good call, sure it's not the result expected but stop being result oriented. On the flop when Jorstad 3bet, he cans have a 2 or only bluffs, overpairs would have just call. On the river, with a simple set of 2 Jorstad would have bet big but never all in, afraid to make him fold his pairs, and to make a value cut against Attenborough's full houses. So on the river Jorstad has a full house to go all-in or nothing, and he has so many hands in bluff in his range in this spot. So great call for me from Attenborough, he had the balls to take the best decision when you know the pression it is.

Well said, I would still probably fold though, especially already on the turn, since I dont even have great equity against his bluffs, and no position, but yeah, if you made it to the river, then it's about 50:50, I would probably still fold like a chicken, because I would reason with: it's the Main event, equal stacks, no way he's bluffing it all off... On a normal noob tournament I would have called too probably

yeah, change that Q,2 there to K,10 of hearts...he may very well bet the same exact line the entire way and his 4's would be good...

This poker theory crap is so overrated. This was a horrible call. He had two pair. So many hands beat him. He overthought the hand. However after 7 days of poker, can't blame the mind for missing this one.

@@cantaloupeme you are the kind of player that is gonna tell me that if he has a Q it's OK then to call, while it's exactly the same. Jorstad has a monster or nothing, and it's not calling with top pair that's gonna change something...

@@salty_ice he had no business in that hand after the turn. With his hand. It’s that simple. After a week of play it’s tough on the mind for sure. So that’s why he probably made the bad call. I’m not worried “if he has this, if he has that”. I’m worried what he has for sure. I hate the “if questions” in poker.

He should have folded on the flop after check raising then getting 3 bet. Got all the info he needed that he was likely beat. Very smart by jorstad to play his hand face up. From Attenborough point of view it was either a set or air. Clearly Attenborough didn’t think he would play a deuce that way, and it worked out. Attenborough got out leveled. Fatigue may have been a factor too.
