Filmed January 14, 2019. Last Request, by Paolo Nutini. I was fighting a cold, and the cough had left my voice with a rough fried quality, so I went with it! This was several years ago now, but I found this old footage and figured I wouldn't let it get lost in the bottom of my google photos. As time has passed, I've seen some improvements in myself musically. I think it took a lot of time to learn how to sing a cover in MY voice - rather than attempting to do an impression of the artist I'm covering (which, in my opinion, is what I'm doing a bit of in this video).
