In 2023, David Grusch, a former USAF officer and intelligence official, claimed in interviews and even a congressional hearing that the US government runs a covert program to recover and reverse engineer UFOs (or UAPs), possessing "non-human" spacecraft and their "dead pilots". Previously in 2022, Grusch lodged a whistleblower complaint with the US Office of the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) to share classified information with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, also alleging retaliation for a similar complaint in 2021.
As a cosmologist, I am highly skeptical of his claims. Why? Find out in this clip from my interview with Danny Jones! Tune in.

You should Interview Dr. Eric Davis or Dr. Hal Puthof. They can answer your question.

no they can't. They are just physicists that play around with the equations from general relativity and electromagnetism that speculate some exotic matter (negative energy density) is what fuels these propulsion systems. Bob Lazar told us the same things 35 years ago, and we still have nothing to show for all that.

respectfully you remained grounded and everything you say is valid. but when hundreds of thousands of people worldwide have claimed to see things (for many many many centuries), we can't expect to have fully clear scientific answers yet.

More than 250 eye witness accounts of something streaming towards TWA flight 800 before the plane went down. Yet, all that testimony was considered unreliable. The good Dr answered your question on at least two fronts. Eye witness accounts of the resurrection of Jesus (or something about Jesus). Eye witness has been proven to be terrible. I was lucky and got to experience the bear and bouncing ball video first hand… and it totally duped me!! There are things I’ve seen myself that I can’t explain. How could I possibly be sure about supposed witness testimony from someone I never met from centuries ago? We can’t even trust witness testimony today!

Nope! We should absolutely expect to have clear scientific answers, even if not conclusive as a whole (there's always unknowns within, and every known raises new questions. The flaw is in the fact that all we have are claims and not one shred of evidence for the events, but none for the possibility of it and often high probability against it! Now add all of the evidence for the human condition and the details that make our minds work and also malfunction, or just show their week spots, rooted in biochemistry, biophysics, neurology, psychology and more which are all exclusively primarily based on good and sound evidence, so the reality is that claims are not evidence, and the amount of believers in a thing is separate from the truth of it, whole regions of large cultures, believed that epileptic seizures were demon possessions, anything vaporous were spirits, and all sorts, and gods are in the tens of thousands many with well over a million believers some hundreds of millions now, and yet in most religions the same people that believe in their gods claim all others to either be lesser gods, mistaken to be gods, or and most often: don't or can't exist at all for being made up and theirs is the only true god... and yet not a single one has ever brought forth even a single shred of viable evidence even worth building an investigation around, and every attempt to, lead nowhere but more believers trying their best to convince people of the truth with no evidence! Now in the case of alien sightings and all of the other beliefs we also have very good historical evidence, record evidence, literature and all sorts pointing at when the whole thing started, which was once the notion that a bunch of that stuff wee see in the night sky are stars with planets most likely similar to ours and all part of a bigger picture, did the whole "Life on other planets" have it's birth, and the human condition took it from there! Although there are all sorts of archeological finds in the form of paintings, cave drawings and what not asserted to be alien related or to be not of this world, none of it has any mention of any of it in any literature, or records, "Other worldly events" as they speculated things like natural disasters and other events to be never had any other sentient being other than gods as an explanation, and most of the assertions are nowhere near conclusive and even attributed and twisted to fit in with the lore of the later 1800's and up!

Let's just explore the subject scientifically. We don't need incontrovertible proof to have a reason to do the research; the accumulated indirect evidence (i.e., anecdotal reports and FOIA documents) and a little bit of curiousity are sufficient for making such an enterprise worthwhile. If it turns out that the phenomenon is something prosaic -- that's absolutely fine. We will learn something new either way. But this attitude of immediate dismissal - "oh it's all nonsense, there's nothing to it" - is the wrong one to take, and unscientific in itself. Let's do the research, make it public, and let the data speak for itself. We need more scientists doing what Avi Loeb, Kevin Knuth, et al., are doing.

Is it not possible that there’s another theory other than aliens have traveled millions of light years to get here? It’s just that I’ve seen things that are incredibly hard to explain, I came within 3-4 ft of a blue orb that decided one night to illuminate the inside of my car for 10 seconds as I’m driving up a mountain road late at night, blew my mind. And as a kid I saw an enormous black triangle silent and low flying, I accepted that could have been extremely advanced tech. Also spotted high flying orange orbs, again could have been sky divers at night. But this blue orb interacted with my car, I’ve heard of ball lightning btw. I had witnesses at every sighting.

Brian Keating says that he is as qualified an observer as Commander David Fravor, who is a veteran navy pilot with literally millions of dollars worth of training. Brian, can you identify every airplane you see? Can you tell us its make and model? I'll bet David Fravor can. Before military pilots even consider firing on an aircraft, they have to identify it. They have to know who and what they are shooting at. That's what it means to be a "trained observer". You (Brian) dismiss that training out of hand like it means nothing. I think you should apologize.

Good, I liked it...Nearly, the entire interview was very agreeable on both sides.. The only conflicts were, does such a phenomenon exist or not, and if so, why is there no smoking gun evidence in support of the claim.. Fair.. Still that's not the same as NO evidence.. Eliminating unsupported anecdotal reports, there are examples where multiple pilots had simultaneous visual observations, onboard sensors tracked and LOCKED on to the "object?", but that's not all.. Aboard ship the object was imaged on radar and observed by a sizeable number of airmen on the flight deck. .Such a string of collaborative interfaces rises above the merely anecdotal and it shouldn't arbitrarily be dismissed in my humble opinion. .All that said, I must agree with Bryan despite my own personal biases, it must not be taken to seriously by science BECAUSE Convincing verifiable evidence just isn't there!.... Why does a physicists opinion not matter here? It was a physicists work that was forwarded by Congressman Burchett during the initial Grusch hearing. Spacetime metrics or something. I forget the title of the paper. Did you disregard that as well?

I still don’t understand the sentiment, “the alien spacecrafts appear when we get trigger happy with nukes.” A nuke is like turning on a lightbulb in a room of 2 billion lightbulbs when considering the backdrop of the sun. How would they even notice? They’d have to already be in our solar system. It’s more likely posturing occurring between rival countries or at a minimum that seems more plausible. I dunno. Am i rambling?! 😅

@@mestanley1753 we are layman. We couldn’t determine the acceleration and speed of a car without a speedometer. Or at the very least, we’d need to know the distance and time traveled and all we could get is average speed. Somehow a bunch of layman watch a grainy video of a tic tac, with no reference frames, and make claims like “breaking physics.” We don’t know enough to make those claims. The idea of aliens in our solar system is friggin exciting!! It’s just not the most likely scenario. At least not yet.
@mestanley1753
@mestanley1753 Месяц назад
@tychostation2423 I'm not arguing the veracity of the claims. I'm saying if they were here they would certainly be in the solar system and be aware of our nuclear capabilities and tendencies. It shouldn't be presumed that nuclear signatures would he the cause of their awareness either. There are several other methods we ourselves could posit and who knows about methods that we just might not be able to understand at our current state of development.
@tychostation2423
@tychostation2423 Месяц назад
That’s a fair scenario. They didn’t notice the nukes from outside the solar system. They were here when they first noticed them. Maybe some drone swarms have magnetic shells capable of field reversal, plus optical camouflage, and the only drone we saw out there was the tic tac getting thrown about with seemingly no propulsion system by many multiples of similar drones. It’s def fun to speculate. Unfortunately my imagination can only go as far as the next layman.

Joking(?) aside, all evidence so far from observation from our best instruments.. we are alone. I lean towards slime universe, with exceedingly rare complex macro life, and orders of magnitude more rare intelligent life, and yet further still more rare technologically advanced life with the ability and/or willingness to interact with others. Regardless of the Ufo question, is science just concensus? I mean gravity? Says who? Who's concensus and evidence decides what's believable? Who has access to LIGO? Why would anyone who doesn't understand this contraption believe that it detected "gravity" waves? Again, who's concensus decided there were gravity waves and what evidence did they rely on? Remember math is not evidence. To then cite faith and personal experience as somehow less valid than science when "scientists" got funds for LIGO? Unbelievable double standard.
@nathanroberson
@nathanroberson Месяц назад
Peer review testing claps all “it’s science because it consensus”. In fact science is usually against the common consensus. Look at how ideas are tested. They look to see independent test arrive at the same answers.
@nathanroberson
@nathanroberson Месяц назад
There is two LIGO if not three coming on line. And it only when they all observe the same event that they find G waves. Math is a language than shows relationships between thing. It has real power. And it’s our metrology that is getting so good that improved the data. I feel like you’re a novice in the physic field and going through the early stages of being skeptical. Which is the right mindset. But be careful to hold an idea and then find things to support your conclusion. Thats not science.
@kallianpublico7517
@kallianpublico7517 Месяц назад
@@nathanroberson The ideas of science are different from politics. The Laws of physics are not the same as the Laws of Congress. The test of ideas in physics require measuring devices. The test of ideas in Congess takes time and requires good oversight to insure accurate reporting. As I reiterate, who's concensus and evidence? It matters who is deciding and judging. How it's decided and judged usually depends on who. Measuring devices that are unreliable are discovered how and by who?

@@nathanroberson Language can be used to lie. Math is a "language" because it is based on logic too. Just because Math is logical does not mean it cannot lead to error. Language can be used to literally say anything. Lies, contradictions, impossibilities, paradoxes. Language has a word called ignorance. While you can't know exactly what it is you don't know, you can...believe that you are ignorant of most things. You can even believe that there are unknown things that it may never be possible to know: the unknowable. What a word! Still not as ..puzzling a word as God. Gravity? Another thought in a Universe of words. Math too is belief.
