To a Certain Degree this is about Definitions. Further, I Suggest We Change or Split the Definition of TRUTH. A Simple Split would be to Create a Different Word for the Distant Past Truth. Nothing NASA does is legitimate. It's sole mission is to perpetuate itself; to consume as much of the taxpayers' dollars as it is permitted to, and inject its grotesque political agenda into Americans' lives disguised as science. Defund NASA now. Quit pretending that a) it is the taxpayers' responsibility to fund "science", b) there is any constitutionally founded basis for its existence, and c) that NASA even does real science. It is nothing more than a taxpayer funded lobbying agency for itself and a welfare program for thousands of overeducated, underskilled PhD's who are otherwise unemployable.
Mind is capable of solving the non-computable problems (such as classification of manifolds in 4 and more dimensional space), and more to say, it is capable to find such problems. No algorithm can do such thing basically. Penrose stated that mind can _understand_ so it can trust the truth of solution at the moment having no such solution. Algorithm has no such quality basically.
How so? He says we have to go look and collect more data, and that we can't just assume there's life everywhere. That doesn't sound "theology based" to me.
I think it is almost a certainty that microbial life is abundant though out the universe which obviously includes our solar system.. It would seem to be an unreasonable chauvinistic bias to think otherwise.. Life sprang up HERE shortly (relatively speaking) after our planet cooled down.. Technological species should be quite rare due to wildly unstable environments, like ours has been..It seems likely that 10 or less technological cultures exist at any given time in our galaxy.. Unless we escape and colonize other worlds, we too will probably go extinct someday as 99.9 percent of the prior species here already have..One opinion on the matter..Peace..
We know that there are phenomenon happening at different places nuclear bases and spots all around the world what what we don't know is whether this phenomenon is alien or terrestrial just of a different time... or maybe it is what I theorize the most likely scenario higher spatial dimensional influence... after all if we are not the highest spatial Dimension then we would expect to see the relative shape or state of the universe as flat which we do observe...
No. The big question is what aliens actually are. The single biggest problem with the term is that lt contains the automatic assumption of 'other planets'. I think this is almost entirely false. The MIC has understood this distinction for decades. Even in circumstances where that might be true the assumption still exists that they a 'native'...like we are to the earth. In all such cases that would be false in my opinion. They are infiltrators. The aliens that may be here on earth demonstrate some physical character when theres need for it...otherwise they would be completely undectable by 'normal' technology. They are in a rudimentary form of understanding 'spirit beings'. We all are truth be told but that depends upon what you think that means cause its largely based in ignorance. I think the old Police song says it nicely...Ghost in a Machine. "We are spirits in a material world'. Thats not hard to understand
