Definitely keep the vehicle that can carry all the kids! I absolutely LOVE the Carnival! The only thing holding me back from getting it, is the very narrow gap between the two seats in the middle row and not as much storage space as I had hoped for all my kids stuff lol

My new Jeep took 2 months from the day I sent in my Custom Build order until she got here. My brother is in the dealership world also. I ordered her May 6th and she got here on July 8. I was shocked at how quickly she got here.

I’d wait until the 6 month mark from when you ordered. The reason being that all car dealerships are dealing with major delays. Parts shortages, labor shortages, etc. Maybe do research on something else now so you can pull the lever on that ASAP if at the 6 month mark your vehicle isn’t ready.

Hi Rachelle, I would wait until January and give it the 4 months for the van you never know what might haappen. Can I just say the family are all looking great can't believe how big Faye has become and the twins Asher and Reuben are so cute and I love listening to Emma talk with her sweet little voice so beautiful. You and Justin have a beautiful little family. I just seen Pepper is has really grown aswell he not a puppy any more. Don’t give up! We pick up our Kia carnival next week and I’m sooo keen! We have 4 kids in child car seats to 🙈 it’s going to be so worth the long wait. (For us the wait was due to other reasons as we are getting one second hand) but eeeep! Stick it out haha

Definitely wait and see a bit longer, however, if you need one sooner, definitely look into the Honda Odyssey with the Magic Slide seats. Magic slide is an absolute game changer! You can buckle the kids in the back easily because they slide side to side with ouch having to unbuckle any car seats. Highly highly recommend. And Honda is a work horse brand.

Dont give up. We ordered our Explorer October 23, 2019 and due to holidays we didn't get ours till January 24, 2020. So yes it did take a while.

Mama here of one but my car is always the driver because i have a lot of my family because the other cars don’t seat the car seat well and everyone else. So i would definitely keep the expedition so you don’t constantly put miles on your new car also to give you sense of security so if the van is in the shop or something you have a back up!

I would 💯% keep the vehicle that can hold everyone, because you never know when the other parent will have to pick up, or Gawd forbid the new car has problems. Also, I’ve always bought brand new cars, but I’m actually to a point where I’m looking for a gently used car now, because the wait is ridiculous! My parents and my friend both bought factory cars recently, and both waited OVER a year! They do upgrade you to the newer year model for the wait, but forget it. Fingers crossed for yours!!🤞

Check out the Honda odyssey I had one and loved it you can do the two captain chairs in middle then have space between them to get to the 3 seats in back row 🙂

I miss my Honda Odyssey. I had it for 17 years and it moved my kids to and from college and apartments. Getting ready to move my daughter to a short term apartment and my CR-V doesn't have nearly as much room. Those removeable/moveable captain's seats were awesome!

Have you considered the Chrysler Pacifica? It has stow and go seats and they come with almost all the same options as the Carnival. My daughter ordered a Kia Sorento in March hoping to have it in time for her baby that cam Nov7, she found out Nov 15 (5days before promised delivery) that it may not be for another 4-6 months. Needless to say she bought a Mazda 5, I however drive the Pacifica and I love it. Just some food for thought.

Before you cancel which I believe you can at any point if you want order a different brand and see what comes first. I've been waiting almost 9 months and was told it would arrive between 6-7 months still no ETA I was told my $500 deposit is fully refundable up until I sign.

I totally get the car situation. I ordered mine back in November 2021, car was fully done being made in March 2022, and I didn’t get mine until August 2022. Nothing against the dealership, but at the time there was a trucking issue with getting drivers to deliver it where I live.

I say wait! We have a carnival and it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned, we waited in 2021 for 9 months until we got ours. Not saying you will wait that long but it was definitely worth the wait. We had an old suv that was a pain to get everyone in and out (3 kiddos under 4 at the time). But I love our carnival and I’m so glad we waited for it! I was also thinking of getting a Toyota.

I would go with Toyota or Honda van. My son manages a Firestone and he said they are having problems getting parts for Kia and Hyundais. A simple oil filter takes them about a week to get it in. He said they are good vehicles just takes a while to get parts.

I ordered my Kia K5 in October 2021 was told it would be a month or 2 did receive the car until Msrch 2022. I was ready to give up but could not find the car I wanted anywhere and didn't want to buy something I felt I'd be settling for. I'd keep the order you have now and keep looking at vans you may find something you like better or the same and then decide.

I know it’s hard but I would try to wait. When making such a big purchase you want to get all the things you want in the vehicle (if that makes sense) it could potentially be the car you have for many many years to come. Good things come to those who wait 😊

Have you checked into the GMC Yukon XL? Our daughter just traded in her BMW SUV for this one since they have 6 months old twins and are trying for one more and have three dogs! They researched a lot of SUV’s and Vans and found that this has the most space if you have small children in car seats and dogs to transport!

When I ordered a Toyota I only had to wait about 3 weeks and it hadn't even been built yet. Toyotas are built in the US so it's a lot quicker than waiting for Kia which comes from Korea.

I would either start the search for the Kia van at a dealership. Or wait til yours comes in because the Kia is 100% worth it!! I would never get another van nor another suv til my youngest is 10+. I won’t!! I was die hard suv til I had the 3rd and it was a pain in the butt. Decided to try the Kia and Omg!!! Best thing ever. I bought it same day and have not looked back even one time. In fact I now look at people with an suv with 3+ kids and I feel bad for them that they miss out on how easy the Kia has made life. To remove any seat I want…freaking game changer. I mean maybe start looking like even out of state. Fly out and get it and drive back. Worth it!! And financially speaking getting rid of the expedition is the best choice. My husband has a car and I have the van. That convenience is not worth it money wise. And the Toyota and Honda are not rated as well as the Kia on car and best!! Get the Kia. Don’t settle because you will end up hating it

To manifest your car, at night when you go to bed see the car in your driveway. This is the really important part, act and feel like it's already there. Happy, stress free to take the kids out. It's there waiting for you. Your mind only knows what you tell it. So positive internal and external dialog. Sounds weird? Who cares, what if it works? Anyways I am working on manifesting my new car. When I started to have doubts, should I buy my lease or buy new, I gave it up to the Universe. Said I'm done worrying about it, it will be what it is. I got a call yesterday, it is in the lot 2 weeks earlier than they told me. I'm thinking pink floor mats will look cute in it. Can't wait to see yours!

Maybe a second hand Kia Carnival, I assume you have them in the USA, here in Australia you can get ex demo cars. Kia is a fantastic option. Keep holding out for it

Who ever doesn’t like the apple it’s probably a texture issue I’m in my late 20s and I still have texture issues with certain foods if I have food that’s supposed to be smooth but has chunks I can’t bite through it’s not going in my mouth because it will come back out

I would recommend trading in the older vehicle because if the 2nd vehicle needs maintenance, you would not have a functional car for the family. Just wait for what you want, you will not have any regrets. Good luck.

Whatever you decide DONT TRADE with the dealership!!! They won’t give nearly as much as you can get for it. Sell with to car max! The process can be done on just one day and it’s super easy. I did it in feb. the dealer was offering 1500 for my car at the time and I sold it to car max for 9 thousand instead.
