My kids are 18 months apart. My son broke his arm 4 weeks after his sister was born. My daughter was crazy small when she was little. 13.4 lbs at a year and 28 lbs when she started school at not quite 4. I took my daughter to the emergency room when she stopped eating and drinking when she had a virus at 20 months. They showed me how to wrap her in a blanket to administer Tylenol, and give her water every few minutes. She spit it back at me. I insisted she be adtmited for 2 days with I’ve fluids to help her. She is 18 now and still tiny but she’s in nursing school and she a force. It’s so hard having little ones, especially so close in age, but you will get through.

Thank you for being considerate and not going anywhere. Not many people do that!!

Prayers and healing thoughts are sent your way. My grandma tested positive for Covid on Monday and passed away yesterday. One of the most challenging things is watching your loved ones being sick/struggling and there is nothing you can really do to help. All you can do is hold your babies and be there ❤

I work in a daycare and rsv a couple weeks ago broke out :( it’s so sad to see little kids sick. I hope your babies feel better really soon ❤️

This is horrible. Not sure if you all got the shots but if so, it would help make sense if you know what your body is now doing. The shot causes the immune system God gave us to be a hostage inside and can't go do what it's designed to do. The cocktail is meant to block the good immune system and basically leave the door wide open for anything to enter and do destruction and it makes me so angry the gov't scared so many people into this shot and now they are dealing with constant sickness, clots, heart issues. It's awful what they did to us.

You talking about this took me back to a flu bug myself and my 4 had together. Blankets on floor in living room where we all just lay there waiting for the next round. It felt like the sun came out when we all felt better! Soon it will all be better🙂🌻

I had a similar sickness about a week ago and it was awful! It was way worse than when I had Covid. Hopefully you’re all back to feeling better soon because I know how horrible this sickness is! ❤

Both my grandsons (ages 5 and 3) were sick with RSV and it took over a week for the fever to go away and another week for them to get back to normal

Last year around this time right in time for all 3 of my kids bdays we all finally got covid.. we were housebound for like weeks ... definitely it tested my faith my strength my health.... prayer for u 🙏

Sorry to hear everyone has been so sick. Not an old wives tale ... keep cans of peaches in heavy syrup in your pantry. When throwing up starts drink a tablespoon of the syrup. If it stays down, do another tablespoon every 15 minutes for an hour or so and then switch to water and crackers. Something in the heavy syrup coats and calms the stomach and makes the vomiting stop. Also alternating Tylenol and Motrin will help break the fever quicker sometimes. Prayers for all to feel better soon.

Mothers bliss has a cough med for babes like age 4 months plus. I used it!! 100% I used it. Yes he’s 2 months. I asked, the ped looked at the ingredients and said yes..go for it. It was good!!!!! And zarbees for the older kids. It’s a god send. But the baby cough med is agave syrup because they can’t have honey…so good.

Get the Kinsa thermometer easy to teach littles to put under tongue and gives an accurate temp, I got one when my niece was 3 and it was perfect when she was sick that whole year and I got my own and it keeps a running record on your phone for all

Awww I MISSED YOU GUYS!!! It’s so sad to hear that the WHOLE fam is going through sickness. I watch a couple of families and they have multiple kids like you and they were just going through the same thing for a week straight! Then you hear on the news about RSV attacking the U.S. My ❤ goes out to you guys and anyone going through it right now!! Omg the mist is so much easier then the other bottle with the nose spray cause I recently couldn’t find the mist and had to buy the bottle one and I HATED IT and am trying so hard to find the mist spray! I wish you could vlog while going through the sickness just so everyone could see they are not alone in it but I understand why you don’t. ❤since you live in Cali and have nice weather try opening some windows to air out the house. Here in NY it was 23 degrees in the morning and I opened the window cause I couldn’t take not airing out the room I was in then got yelled out because everyone else started to freeze and couldn’t understand why and then I closed the window and they caught me 😂! So then I got yelled at what are you crazy it’s freezing out there why would you bring the cold air in here BLAH BLAH BLAH! Lol . HOPE EVERYONE IS ON THE MEND!

There are so many respiratory viruses going around.. flu, covid, RSV, Enterovirus and Adenovirus. My family is getting over this right now and my 4 yr old was the worst off out of the 4 of us. Many of these viruses can take 2 weeks to resolve and even then some can have a cough longer. Hoping you all get better soon!

Another thing my doctor said is cos we all had a mask on when we went out for at least a year or so our immune systems haven't had germs as such to fight anything off. Get Justin to have full work taken since he is struggling so much with sickness, I did but thought it was because I was run down with being a mum and loosing my mum this year. Turns out I had almost no iron left in me or vitamin d!

My daughter (3.5 years old) had a horrible respiratory bug and I called her Dr and because she's 40 lbs they said she can take children's mucinex 1 teaspoon. It helped some but I did the honey too which worked at night! Hope you all feel better soon, it's been a rough year for sickness 😷

What helped me the most with respiratory issues was inhalation. We had a Pariboy (don’t know if they’re available worldwide) for that. You put NaCl and, if needed, medication in it, put a mask over your nose and mouth area and turn ist on. It diffuses the water and works wonders with stuffy nose or coughs

We've had the same thing here. My oldest (just turned 4) has absolutely been hit the hardest. My 2 yr old has had a major runny nose for weeks. I've never been ill for this long!

Zarbee’s cough and mucus . This products age range is 12 months and up. I as an adult use the cough syrup +immune product. It works great!

I give both Tylenol and motrin to my kids when they have fever 🤒.. take both .. it helps alot and they get better so fast too and I dont wait for the fever to come back. I give them every 3 hrs even if the fever is not back yet ..

This has been my family's situation for the last 4 weeks.. it is horrible, and as a mom it doesn't matter if your sick too you gotta keep your kids alive.. we still sick but much better now.. hope you are better as well..

Your observations about thermometers are spot on! Forehead ones are the least accurate. Ear ones are better but can be inaccurate in little ear canals / waxy ears. Digital probes are the best, albeit a bit harder to use! (I'm a Dr and in paeds ED we generally advise to avoid forehead thermometers). Hope you're all on the mend!

We have had this sickness on and off for the past almost three weeks now! My daughter also had the throwing up part as a symptom, fewer, coughing and runny nose. I was fine again after a week, but she’s been on and of for weeks!! 🥺 so I’m guessing it’s a thing all over, we live in Norway. Hope everyone gets better soon!

My 4 kids have been so sick too. 😢 my one year old has RSV and had just gotten over croup. It’s been god awful. He’s feeling a little better but it’s been a week today. Ugh

Sorry this is rough. Vicks vapor rub on their feet with sucks when they sleep really helps the cough at night. I had 4 boys in the same room. Only had to put on one.

Yes air purifier makes a difference as well.

Australia is on watch for Parecho virus, can be especially severe in neonates. GIT and respiratory symptoms. Just a heads up xx

Whatever you do, do NOT do the garlic-in-a-sock trick. My mom did that when I was a kid, and I got a huge skin burn. It blistered and scarred, and the scar did not start to fade for 15 yrs. It was about the diameter of a baseball.

There’s a children/baby acetaminophen and ibuprofen shortage in Canada. I haven’t been able to get Tylenol for my kids since August.

Ugh the lingering cough, I have 2 out of 3 sick toddlers. Fever for about 2 days, sniffles, sneezing, coughing and to boot the children’s Tylenol shortage 🤦‍♀️ They were couch potatoes for 1 day.

My entire household has the same thing! I got the email from my boys school that there’s is a respiratory illness outbreak at their school, I had the stomach flu symptoms now the respiratory symptoms and everyone else has had the fevers and respiratory symptoms, 4 sick kids and 3 sick adults it’s been a long week to 😢 hope you guys feel better soon!! We have a Advil and Tylenol shortage here in Canada so it’s been so hard

There are so many horrible respiratory bugs going around. My daughter and I were sick for two and a half weeks and it was tough, she suffered rib pain for 4 weeks after it and was in agony and said it was worse than her experience with covid (i know that varies for everyone. Hope you are all feeling better soon, its tough as a Mom and Dad but youre doing a great job

Rsv and stomach flu is going rampant here in MO. Zarbee is awesome for adults and kids and babies. If can there is Vicks for kids that can put in shower and helps alot. Dollar store shower curtains great floor savers.Get well soon 🙏

The only thing that helped my daughter at night with her cough was putting Vicks on her feet with socks on. Seriously she slept like a baby

ONION advice. Cut it in half and place it opened up on a plate beside kids beds. Always helps with the cough but stinks the whole house! Haha hope you are all on the up and up!!

Just as a PSA for anyone needing to stock up on tylenol (paracetamol) & Motrin (ibuprofen)…. It is the exact same as the non brand paracetamol and ibuprofen. you definitely do not need to buy the expensive brands!!!!!!

Herbal tea is my go to! Lemon ginger is the best the ginger really helps!

Poot folks..this flu is in Canada as well. We cannot get childrens tylenol motrin etc. Been months that we can't get. Crazy..I am gonna make a run to usa and buy. Our hospitals are full with kids..terrible. I hope your sweet Emma rallies soon. Love to you all.

Took my grand daughter to the doctor with 103.7 fever and no other symptoms they told us she tested positive for covid then we all ended up with it but with vomiting and cough sneezing upset stomach it's lasted over a week now

So pleased you are all on the mend.

Ughhhhh we have been so sick for the last few months. We seem to catch everything since we had covid. I think it made our immune system weaker. I don't know if that's possible, but it sure feels like it BIG TIME!!

I had this last year !!! 3 days of throwing up, 3 weeks of congestion and coughing that slowly got better over time but felt like it dragged on forever. Tested negative for covid and it didn’t feel quite like the flu but it was a rough month. Sending positive healing vibes to your whole family !!

I have found that children’s Zyrtec works wonders when my littles have a cold or flu or even covid.

Buy Vicks Waterless Vaporizer, V1800 at Walmart. They're amazing when you have a head cold.
