considering this games relatively brief history, they've done a good job. Although its a different game Star Citizen has been in dev a lot longer and is still broken. Also has had a ton of cash thrown at it over the years.

It has indeed, why I’m so confused when people call it dead or the devs have killed it. These things take time and from where it started to where it is now, it’s got over a lot of hurdles. Plenty of games out there that come in to EA and then get dropped or it’s just a cash grab etc. I don’t feel that with Scum, just needs time and patience.

Watch another video of someone who had the server restart when on a raft, they also drowned. Guess it's a bug that you don't spawn on the raft after a restart.

Yeah I think it’ll get sorted, I found the raft was spawning in after my character which is what caused the drowning. Be nice to see that fixed for sure haha

Scum is already a good game, Day Z still has some bits and bobs that Scum doesn't, yet. Wait until 1.0 and the army of modders will start making this game the best in it's class.

Looks like someone on the server was hunting for rabbits. I haven't even seen any for quite a while on the server I'm on. I did see them at the factory. That's where I killed a couple. I've been going around to the farms north and east of the factory. I was finding a couple of chickens and if lucky a goat. I've killed a couple of goats. I even killed a boar south of the C1 town. The last couple of times I've went looking I haven't found any chickens. I'm not trying to become a big game hunter. I just want the last 2 kill animals with a bow achievements. I just recently started trying to get any of those achievements. I've left comments before in Steam- Discussions - Scum and have got replies from devs before. Pretty much always we're aware of the situation and are working on it. At least they reply. I'll never say the devs don't know what they're doing. I will say due to the complexity of the game I think they're pushing their limits. Not saying their limits are low. Just the game is extremely complex. Modular vehicles might be nice. I'll start caring more when they add trailer hitches and trailers so I can tow things like my boat or even another vehicle around. I've got my boat dock on the C2 lake. No way to get it to another lake now. That is when I actually get a boat for the boat dock. I compare No One Survived to Scum. Building, crafting, and refining is so much better in No One Survived. I still spend most of my time in Scum.

I hear rabbits before I see them haha. Tbh for me rabbits and hogs have been the animals I’ve seen most of. Been a while since I’ve come across a goat but did hear one the other week, just didn’t go for it. Yeah I’ve been saying for a while a trailer/campervan/RV would be great in this haha. TBH a lot of the time with “smaller” bugs the devs have already been told 50 times over but again always good to mention your issue as you could have different hardware and or doing something different from someone else when the bug occurred. Yeah they could still improve this a lot but as you said it’s a very big and ambitious game so will take time and patience, especially if the devs are as you said slightly out of their comfort zone, may just take them a bit more time to get that part right 🙂

@@theurbanhermit365 I'm mostly driving around trying to cover the most area. I'll go to a farm and give it a little time for the animals to spawn in. If they don't I'll go to another farm. They was spawning as I drove up even if I couldn't hear them I could see them. I even had puppets chase them and it kept me from killing the animal. When I'm driving around the map. Maybe going to the city I'll listen for animal sounds. I have found a few that way. I know I sound like a broken record but, my biggest issue is still my garden. I finally built a 10x10 and planted probably 12 plants. After just a few days I've already had plants die and have to be replaced. I also have to weed the garden every time I load the game. Lately it hasn't rained. That's a first for being outside the fence at the B2 airport. I noticed for the first time my improvised rain catcher was still empty and the garden is loosing water. As many gardens I've had in that area this is the first time this has happened.
