The fact that Yeonjun wrote all of his raps is just amazing! I kinda cried listening dear sputnik!

I think balance game is one of those song that you like it more after listening to it a couple times because I need to listen to it a few time to like it. I like all the songs but if I had to pick favorites probably no rules and frost.

I feel like I had a good relationship with my bias (Soobin) but in this era he’s wilding SO MUCH I kinda what to fight him like you want to fight Beomgyu😀 And the promotion hasn’t even started😃

This album... I feel like this album was it for me because rock and funk are a few of my favorite genres. But FROST just.....did it for me...I think I almost cried when I heard the raspiness in Taehyun and Soobin's voices. And I feel the same way about autotune tbh...I loved the melody for What if I had been that Puma though and the RAPPING was insane. They've always been a really experimental group....actually now that I think about it, no two albums of theirs sound the same. But THIS ALBUM was just really really experimental and ballsy and I LOVE THAT. And I loved your reactions even if was just you vibing to the album and having the occasional breakdown because....SAME ;_;

I usually don't like autotune so much, and I was worried about this one too, but for me in "what if I had been that puma" it matched so well. And the little electric guitar when start the "Pick your dap A or B" is everything ggggrrrr

Frost is my favorite song out of the album I absolutely think they all went crazy here. Hueningkai was literally screaming at the end of frost

Balance game it’s not really my type either? I wouldn’t skip it honestly and it has grown in me, especially Yeonjun’s rap but it has to be my least favorite from this album, one thing I love about this album is that it was super experimental for them and there is something for everyone, I know of people who love this song on the first listen. My favs are Dear Sputnik and Frost🤓

This album Yeonjun was able to show off a lot of their rapping style and it’s sooo cool to me that they were reminded we do not have official positions here’s tyunning rapping for you AND BEOMGYU IN NO RULES

The one singing along with taehyun was huening kai at the latest parts of frost. It bothers me that some lyric vids have wrong color coded things. Btw the album is a masterpiece so I'm happy u got to listen to it ! My favorite is probably Dear Sputnik for now because of the anthem-like sound ^^

This album is really insane!! The diversity they showcased is really amazing! So glad bighit let them rap more too! I feel that TXT really showed their identity/colors in this album! It's like they showed their portfolio and said "There pick what you want we can do it"

I loved this album, it’s so versatile! And I love that has some rocky songs like dear Sputnik and the title track! Frost is also so cool und unique! My ranking so far : 1. Dear Sputnik 2. Frost 3. Love song 4. No rules 5. Ice cream 6. Balance game (I didn’t like it on the preview because of auto tune but it grew on me and the beat sounds great) 7. Magic 8. Anti-romantic (this is probably the only song I would sometimes skip just because I don’t like slow songs in general, I prefer sth more upbeat and energetic) Also looks like they don’t have choreo for Dear Sputnik and Frost but I would love them perform those

It’s amazing to see all of the members grow as artists. I also love that instead of doing the typical KPOP genre-hopping within one song, they create an album where each song is fully committed to the genre they chose. For me, the songs on this album seem to fit a mood you may be in. But I will say this, “Frost” hit me up the side of my head! To be honest, I hadn’t seen a lyric video until now and I’m shocked with who was responsible for each part. Nice reaction girl!! 💙

we had the same favorite! i've been listening to frost non stop and every time i fall more in love with it 😭💓 i reaaaaally like when they sing 'voices calling out for me' for the second time and they add layers of other members singing like we really have other voices in our head 🤣 idk how to explain it and its a small detail but i find it really cool🥰 im pretty convinced frost will be the +u mv and im so excited to see how they approach the style of the song to make it match with the short film vibe they go with every storyline related mv🥸 and about what if i have been that puma i didnt mind the voice effects but i see why it can sound a little to much; i think it doesn't bother me as much because it reminds me of reggaeton/trap songs, at least latino artists use it like, a lot haha but i totally understand if its not your cup of tea 💓 im so excited for you to watch their live stages!! happy first comeback with txt💙💙💙

I agree with you on Balance Game, I was not really vibing with it at first (I don't like when there is a lot of autotune) but it grew on me a lot and now I really like it ^^ (It's always like that for me with TXT songs that are not really my type of music, like 20 cm of FoS, at first I'm not really into the but at times passes by fiuuuuuuu I love them). Dear Sputnik has my heart and soul for real. AND FROST WELL. WELL. THE VOICES. THE EVERYTHING

"Pick your answer A or B, it's a balance game with a puma and I in front of it". Ok balance game is the game "do you rather" but this time you play the game with a puma in front of you. It's like those choice game will move you closer to the puma (danger) or out of it. Their lyrics is the best practice to learn song interpretation. It's fun to read the narration of this song. Lol I think you get biased wreck every corner from all 5 of them just on Frost alone. Btw, the ppl who work for No Rules are the same ppl who work for BTS Mikrokosmos and Inner Child (those 2 are my fav from BTS); Arcades & Koolkid. Koolkid really proud of No Rules. So I know this song will be good even before the album release 😅 I'm so proud of Tyunning. Hueningkai said he create the beat when he was younger and named it "sample". He said they developed the song from his sample. Taehyun also do wrote both the music and lyric for this song. I think Taehyun wrote the hook part because during vlive Soobin said "I like the hook" and Taehyun said "Thank hyung". They both really have done great. I'm looking forward more songs from them.

i'm so glad you mentioned that not liking a song doesn't mean you don't appreciate their hard work. i saw that tweet saying that if you don't vibe with a song to just keep it to yourself because it invalidates all the work they put in and it really rubbed me the wrong way. i'm really happy that the members got to participate so much in this album but not every song works for every person and that's okay.

i love frost so much

I wasn’t expecting to like No Rules as much as I do! It wasn’t one I was looking forward to as much as some of the others but it’s really good! Frost is a masterpiece, I wasn’t sure what to make of it but I was really intrigued after the highlights and preview. Frost really kicked the door down and became, possibly, one of my favorite TXT songs. The grit and power in their vocals is incredible. And I had no idea Soobin was one of the people singing that part of the song!!! My bias list has been wrecked, Soobin really went from like, adorable bread cheeks to exposed forehead and short sleeves. Lastly, again, I want more lines from Beomgyu!

This album is just legendary as they told us it would be 😭 My top 3 are the title track, Dear Sputnik and Frost. I just can't believe txt have a song like Dear Sputnik that to me sounds like Evanescence and Linkin Park mixed together MY LITERAL DREAM. And I can't believe Hueningkai produced it. Frost is just insane, also can't believe they did this. I don't know if you watched the comeback live from today but Soobin said that he originally wasn't supposed to do the chorus part. He really wanted to do it but his range wasn't high enough but he tried every day and trained his voice, asking the producers every day if he could do it and he made it! I'm so proud of him for that 😭 I agree with you on Ice Cream and What if I had been that Puma, I feel like there was too much autotune which I guess does go with the vibe of the song but it was a bit too much for me. However it has already started growing on me a lot. Ice Cream is very cute and growing on me too. Magic is so fun and is so impressive for a first English song? Like we can clearly hear what they're saying and it's just so fun it makes you want to dance. No Rules... I loved it when I first heard it but I keep replaying their performance and it just gets better every time I hear it, it keeps climbing up my favorite txt songs list and the boys actually said it today as well during the live, they said that about Magic too I think, that it gets better with every listen. I'm getting obsessed with No Rules now 😍 The title track is just so beautiful, I have no words. The fact that it dethroned all previous txt songs and became my favorite says a lot because I've been very loyal to my favorites until I heard this. Like from the first chorus I knew this was gonna be a meaningful song to me. I can't believe we really got rock txt 😭😫

They just did the Freeze comeback livestream where they talked about the album tracks and stories about while working on them plus they did some activities regarding the album. The good thing about this album is that there is something for everybody. I actually love What If I had been that Puma and No rules and I respect your take on it. Loved this album so much!! I don't know if it is my favourite tho, I will have to listen to it more because I really really love Eternity, but it has a lot of amazing songs. for me i usually dont mind autotune like i loved blackswan and actually prefer it with the autotune. but i think they needed to have a tiny bit less autotune on balance game. especially because unlike blackswan which isnt just a blanket autotune, it tunes each members differently to bring out their tones but this kinda is a blanket autotune so its a little too much even for stylistic choice. however, the song did grow on me a lot more the more I listen to it and my ears got used to the autotuned vocals and are more focused on the vibe of the song.

At first when I heard the album preview, I was iffy about it but after listening to it more and more I liked it and I heard the song and I loved it! My personal ranking is: Frost, Lovesong, Dear Sputnik, No Rules, Anti-Romantic, Ice Cream, Magic and Balance Game. - Anti-Romantic is a little bit slow for me, but I still like it very much. - Lovesong hit me so hard in the feels because I have some issuses with my mental health lately and I love everything about the song: the vibe, the feels, the music video, the style, everything. It became my favorite title track from the boys. - Magic is a fun song but as of right know I can only remember the chorus part even though I heard it already a few times. - Ice Cream is on thin ice for me (hah!) because I don't like the chanting part in it. It throws me off but I'm okay with the other parts. - With Balance Game I had the same issues as you, too much auto-tune for me and it's too repetitive, but Yeonjun's switch up rap part hits so hard!! Every time I listen to it I'm like: "Yes! Get it Yeonjun! Wait, no, come back!" :D So yeah, I think this song is my Ghosting. :D - No Rules slaps me after Balance Game. Like, it has everything that Balance Game doesn't. It's all over the place in a really good way, it's a whole vibe, I love it so much! - Dear Sputnik my dearest. Huening did so good with this song!

Trust me when I say balance game will slap when they sing it live, I'm personally ok with autotune but I know people will like it more on live vocals especially with how playful it is cuz I do think the autotune takes that away from the song :)

i was not a big fan of balance game too, normally i would like it after listening a few more times, but it still a no no for me because just like you i'm not a fan of the overuse of autotune, as you said it blended well in Magic because they used only in a few parts but here is a little bit too much for me... and you're right, It's up to taste not to discredit their hard work, people have to understand that no one is obligated to like every song just because you're a fan. Now No Rules, Dear Sputnik are my absolute favorites in this album, They're such summer bops it made me miss going on car trips with my friends/family so much that i cried while listening to it the first time...
