For Ice Cream, the Korean title directly translates into "Small Evil Deeds." And the lyrics talk about comparing ice cream to a cliche happiness that melts away and how they prefer the chaos and doom of reality. So the nursery rhyme is actually supposed to have a really dark meaning and ironic taste because it's taking the literal meaning of the word "scream." "I scream and you scream" literally because it's not cliche happiness like we dreamed it would. It's actually a super creepy track if you know the context. That's why it's actually why it's one of my favorites lol. The beat goes off too once you can get over the initial nursery rhyme thing - after knowing the meaning.
Fun fact, Magic is #1 most added songs on US Pop Radio panel this week. This news came out June 2nd. Few US & Canada radio has been playing Magic. As MOA I hope this song get more airplay.
@@ezlananwar9572 I mean if you ask vocally trained person, that's healthy. He doesn't even strain his voice in their live stages and especially in the live radio performance. Just like how metal band vocalists use their vocal chords, Taehyun also use his voice healthily. If you ask vocal coaches, they will say that only few of vocalists can do raspy vocals naturally and healthily. Guess Taehyun's one of them.
my personal opinion, their previous albums were kinda magical, sweet and young vibes and now their shifted to more grown and experimental sound because their into new chapter and i really love it, they really play with their vocals a lot here for me this is their best album till now, and i can't stop playing it since release really looking forward what will they create next all about txt always feel so new and refreshing for me
they are very versatile and you don't know how to react by first listen especially for those who are used to their previous albums. 0X1 and new rules definitely are perfect track to grab attention and will get attention right away. magic is a radio hit vibe, and how their pronunciation is great. dear sputnik and frost give suprise impact and give good impression yet not a first listen grabber but get high reviews. balance game and ice cream are the grower tracks, you probably will got confused and find the tracks questionable but these are the tracks tht you could check back cuz it's addictive and refreshing (again depends on preference, one work while the other didn't). for anti romantic, definitely the track that has been proven stealing the show cuz non kpop listeners and even non fans are falling for it lol. personally i think this album is another upgrade for their musicality and the maturity is shown in the album.
The members really took part in the production of the album. I think most importantly they are taking risks and growing musically and as an artist. What I take away from their music is that you can see their growth during each comeback
it’s the “not my favorite release” and then trying to pick their favorites but realized they liked all of them dkfnffk. What a mood. I dont know which ones to add to my 2021 playlist, im still meditating it.
Same. This is my fave album from TXT. Personally, i liked no actually I loved all of the tracks my first listen. Their latest album is always my fave based on mt experience. They always outdo themselves and I LOVE IT
seeing this now some of them mixed up beomgyu's lines and labeled it as others no but beomgyu has such a pretty voice deserves more lines lmao but literally obsessed with freeze and have been since it dropped i'm a bit late to this reaction LMFAO
I don’t know if anyone told u yet but Ashnikko assisted in writing Frost (hence the “I’m so shocked” from Kai which derives from her trademark “I’m so shy”) MY IDOLS WORKING TOGETHER EYE-
Yah, also not my fave release but I'm solid TXT and I cud see the effort and experiment they put into it. It's so versatile that caters different genre. Though aside from 0x1=Lovesong, my top picks are Dear Sputnik and Frost. Not typical TXT, but these 2 sends me to a different galaxy.
