things you missed sammy: 1. the ending orchestral music was the instrumental used in outro: tear 2. the girls here represent their 'anima'. it is the unconscious feminine side of a man that transcends their personal psyche. this is part of the 4 jungian archetypes: self/ ego, persona, shadow 3. suga gets so surprised bec he hasnt been contacted by any of the members for a long time and from what i remember, he gets a text message from jhope that jungkook's been in a car accident. 4. you didnt notice how all items of the girls were yellow. the hair tie, the lollipop, the sweatshirt. it may represent serendipity or happiness (linking it to the mv's color scheme and how they presented yellow) 5. y.k. is for yunki/ yoongi (this is suga's real name min yoongi) 6. jhope's been left by his mom in the carnival and he grew up in an orphanage. (this is also what's in jhope's /room/ in the fake love mv) 7. the most important part of all - jin's role in the story. i won't say but you didnt figure it out ;-;

(I've just finished the video and honestly Sammy did a great work, he noticed the dates, the fact that we were going back time and also the Smeraldo Flowers... Also Y.K. stands for Yoongi which can also be written as Yoonki for Suga's real name I'm still so stressed seeing this video and it might be my 20th time watching it...

JUNGKOOK is in a wheel chair because he was hit by a car. SEOKJIN, the girl that passed him dropped her diary, he later found her and helped her do everything on her to-do list, but she later on died. NAMJOON had monet problems from the beginning, he had a sick father and couldn’t afford medical help. So Namjoon got MANY part time jobs, but couldn’t handle the pressure. TAEHYUNG had a abusive father, who would beat BOTH TAEHYUNG AND HIS SISTER. Taehyung got tired of it and stabbed his father, causing him to go to jail, like in (I NEED U). JIMIN was in the hospital in “Run, I NEED U, and Lie” because one day at a bus stop, he was at with J-Hope, Jimin had a seizure and he went to the hospital but his parents were ashamed of Jimin “problem” and made him stay there, forever or until he was “fixed.” J-HOPE suffered from disease, where you think your sick, but in reality you’re just making it all up. JHOPES mother left him alone and never came back when J-Hope was a child. I would say more, but I think that’s enough information to go off of✨💫

BTS are heavily inspired by Carl Jung's theories (a philosopher) so actually all the girls in the Highlight Reels represent the Anima of each member, as in the feminine side of a man. Whereas an animus represents the masculine side of a woman. In BTS's music videos, they seem to explore different facets of Carl Jung's theories such as the Shadow, the Ego, the Hero, the Persona etc. Black Swan for instance is one of the videos that expresses the idea of the Shadow of Carl Jung (our subconscious self that we hide from others and even ourselves) but in this video they mainly focus on the Anima.

watching this after learning the story hits even harder man... wow. **SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS** maybe? When Jin said how the happiness can easily be all swept just like that.. and the fact that he has been through so much, trying to save everyone, succeeded, and EVERYTHING collapsed right in front of him (well not actually but how he's narrating and how the scenes are being portrayed make me feels like everyone knows what's going on) years after including his own life.. all those attempts after failing so many times, like he DID it and poof its gone again. And the word 'again' for Jin aint so simple. The pain omgggg

The girls aren't real, they are inner personas of the boys. This relates to literature: A person's personality contains various components, one of them in the inner consciousness is "Anima/Animus". That relates to someone's level of masculinity or femininity. Those girls appearance are a process to making them recognise something important hidden in their consciousness, and you can see Jin understanding something through the girl. I wont spoil it for you though, I'm just explaining some parts of the theory to you without giving any answers :)

This is the highlight reel for the love yourself series. The first album in the love yourself series is called Her. It’s about finding love in other people which is what they’re trying to do with the girls. But darkness will always overcome a love like that and won’t last, hence the second album in the series - Tear. The final album is called Answer and that’s finding love within yourself and in the album is a song called I’m Fine.

Some things u might have missed ; 1. RM wasn't holding a bracelet. It was a hairtie. He was staring at the girl's hair the whole time during their first meet. 2. V was actually getting chased by the police due to vandalism((graffiti)) 3. The girl took out Jungkook's earphone to make him hear the song that the other girl was playing(which the melody is familiar to him bcs it was the same song Suga played to him using the piano) 4. The Y.K. initial might be Yunki (Suga's real name=Yoongi) or YoonKook (combination of Suga's and Jungkook's name bcs they were always together in most of the storyline) 5. You didn't saw the snickers chocolate bar beside mini Jhope during the scene where his mom left him at the funfair. 6. Jimin wasn't fighting with the girl. He was dancing with her when he accidentally collided with her and injured both himself and her. 7. The ending scene where Jin caught the falling vase of flowers(smeraldo flower) was basically bcs he was time travelling. He was trapped in a loop which caused him to wake up on a same date every time. So, he basically knew what was going to happen that day. That's why he can predict the vase falling and chose not to meet the girl bcs the girl would have died if he did so. 8. As someone has said, if u hear closely, the intense part of the background music playing was actually the same instrumental for their song Outro : Tear. 9. Jungkook was actually going to meet the girl after he got discharged. That's why he brought the flower but turns out the girl wasn't there anymore which explains why he looked disappointed. 10. If you notice, the transition of Jhope dancing with the girl to Jimin dancing alone in the dark was actually connected.

Im telling you jin is considered the one who bring lucks in bts but in the bu hes the unluckiest

Yeah so Jin acts a time traveler in this story which is why he predicted to vase of flowers falling and caught it in time because it already happened ad Jin went back in time to prevent that but he doesn't know if he can prevent the girl that ran towards him from dying

I would recommend reading The Notes first then reading the webtoon. The Note contains more details yet ofc more complicated. But it tells a lot

Did you know that the color grading in this and the way it's shot is what almost every K-drama(korean drama) looks like. The colors in them are almost always soft and pretty. Very aesthetic imo.
