I believe Terraria players often speed run the game and never take their time on their worlds. I want to change that. So, over the course of a year I will be playing on this world with each stage of progression being blocked until the start of a new month. Listed below are the progression locks I'll be facing on this journey and come next December we'll finally defeat the final boss!

Throarbin using a Rogue build with almost no Rogue-related accessories is pain.💀(Also, Both Summoner and Rogue can use flasks, I suggest the Flask of Crumbling). The Stealth Strike mechanic really depends on the type of weapon, some weapons are better to spam, other have BUSTED Stealth specific attacks, and there's also accessories that reduce the time it takes to charge or just boost the damage even more (like Raider's Talisman, Rotten Dogtooth and Ruin Medallion).

It seems you missed the fact that you can shimmer gems into less valuable gems, like diamonds into rubies and then you can work your way down to emeralds from there. Not to mention gemcorns exist to make every gem renewable just from having one of them, and even gem critters exist to be shimmered into their respective gem. Which would have helped a lot with building the stained glass walls in that sulphurous sea arena...

a good summoner weapon you can get right now is the Ancient Ice Chunk, it drops from Ice Claspers in the underground ice biome. i usually use this weapon to kill the mechs and plantera, it has a decent and consistent damage. as for summoner accessories, get the first shadow flame, it drops from the Goblin Warlock, during the goblin invasion.

I use a LOT of wiring (and some lava) to build a large enough grind/arena off to the side that I can flip a few switches and/or levers, and I can outright turn spawns off in the world. With the right set of levers I can even actively control where invasions come from, whether the right of the screen or the left of the screen. Or just sit in the center, turn off both sides, and just "wait out" blood moons and solar eclipses. Of course, now the sundial and moondial reset any time one of them pops up, but I still build the thing in every main world anyways, because I know how, and I know I can, and it's REALLY fun to just sit there with one side 'off' firing long distance weaponry off into the distance on the other. ;)

Funniest thing about S.H.P.C is that it specifically deals less damage to the different worm bosses than it does to other bosses and its still that powerful. Aquatic scourge takes 60% and Destroyer takes 75%

one tip I like using when doing big circles is doing something like 5up>4up>3up>3up>2up>2up> then 3 diagonal blocks (1up, 1right) then go 2rightʌ2rightʌ3right etc u get the drill, eventually it will connect in the middle if you just repeat the same numbers (or just look at a pixel circle generator online and put the size of it)

Hi Throarbin, I know that during the livestreams that you don't play the corresponding boss music because it doesn't really fit your vibe, but I think you should use the new interlude songs that Calamity just updated. They're Dokuro's and have been around for a while unused and I think they fit your theme really well especially silence before the storms. They are supposed to play after the boss is defeated, but you could do it during the boss fight if you like.

Using the equinox on the aquatic scourge is way and i mean way faster but you have to make sure you are hitting it head on so you pierce all the segments

Something for the future if you're in need of gems: Gem critters can be shimmered into their gems, though this does require farming them a bit to get enough to be usable

I think the best thing way you could've done the dome was to use a pixel circle generator and build the top of the dome first, then have the walls go down to the surface..

Shadow candles can override the "NPCs prevent spawning" mechanic. I don't know the specifics on how it's crafted, I think a water candle and some demonite bars at either an alter or ecto-mist workbench. Edit: Looking at the wiki, one water candle, three evil ore bars (vanilla), at a workbench in echo-mist.

Cobalt kunai stealth strike used to be absolutely busted. you could use them all the way up to providence, but then they got their piercing removed and their homing nerfed.

Yeah, I've tried some of the end game weapons with stealth strike and for them it's worth it, but pre-moon lord I haven't really found any worth the while

Issue with Rogue is your not running the silent reforge or proper rogue accessories, stealth strikes are pretty vital to upping your DPS but I can see why they feel weak rn when you're not supporting them. Most rogue weapons are better on stealth strike than spam, with some exceptions.

im not a builder so as is my goal is to beat calamity on revengence - master mode and then put up a border around the whole worlds edges before removing every block and wall i can from the world. (as i didnt think before starting this silly idea im on a large world too.) been playing on this world for a fair few months now and about to get to "D.O.G" soon. so once im finally done with the progression, wiping it clean and all it is left in the world is me would be the cherry on top for me.

If you want some new whips you gotta have the catalyst mod which adds a bunch of new whips. Though it also adds a new super boss that you gotta beat before moonlord or else you wont be able to fight it anymore. The armor the mods gives on the other hand I think you should drop it as it breaks progress.

@@Throarbin Ey as per the summoner build you should try out those daedelus minions the only bad thing about them is that they are ground base minions and sucks against flying enemies but they hurt. There also is a daedelus armor for summoners too and some minion drops from the brimstone elemental. Hope this helps your next month. Though ancient ice chunk is already a good summoner weapon as its free defense base on how many ice spikes you have. KEVIN also existed as a rogue weapon its a bunch of cryogen weapons combined together.
