I like how they show the different perspectives in this episode, from the human perspective she’s a terrifying menacing monster that annihilated their troops, and from kumoko’s perspective the humans were just a bunch of jerks who destroyed her House and attacked her

I love how Kumoko looks like this adorable spider when we're watching her but when we're watching the humans she's the size of a car and terrifying. Can't wait to see what Kumoko turns into present day.

This takes the *me and my last braincells* meme to a whole new level

Some details that they didnt show: -humans actually give much more exp than monsters, and she level up like 2 times by just killing the first 4/8 soldiers -they miss the time she save some adventures from a snake (because she feel pity of them) and they start telling everyone about her (and they also give her a fruit wich she loved it)

Love how she gradually gets more crazy and loses her humanity, since she doesn't feel bad about killing humans and was thinking of chewing them (in the novel she does eat them) well, it's almost time for her to get out of the dungeon, so excited

SO with what's happening with the timeline I'm going to assume that they were all literally reborn into the new world as infants. So while kumoko being a spider has a much faster adolescence and thus is a couple hundred steps in front of the humans.

She looks really cute while she's been said that she lvld up ...gained more skills etc etc.. And yep she is the best spider waifu i have ever seen

The personalities in shadow form is actually must be level 1 shadow magic. She says that when it was lv 1 it could only manipulate the shape of shadows but when it got to a higher level it unlocled a gew great attacks like shadpw bullet

That little victory dance has to be one of cutest things I’ve seen in sometime.

I'm going to compliment the show, but it is a massive spoiler. Please if you are an anime only and don't want one of the smarter twists in the show spoiled don't read. I love the direction they are going with Ariel and Shiro. The way that they are trying to make the viewer believe that the Demon Lord of the future and Kumoko are the same is so well done. Since this is a 24 episode season, I definitely think we'll get to see Arachne kumoko, which will undoubtedly be a funny scene. I mean if you've watched the OP you can figure out who future Kumoko is but they do obscure it quite a bit. I love how many of the anime onlies are like "Wait I have a theory. I think that Kumoko is the demon lord!" and all the people who have read ahead are like "well yes, but actually no." Next episode is definitely going to be awesome.

I love the contrast between the fight in this episode and cute Kumoko again at the end. Makes her even more adorable for some reason

I'm glad most modern games don't do that sort of level system anymore, I recall saving skill points on some old RPG's since skill max wasn't defined and some level caps and game interactions came with skill boosts, new games either refund those points or have flat unrelated bonuses so you can play however and not lose out if you build a particular way.
