This should be printed up as a guidebook on how to navigate being a christian and still have a life. Serving God shouldn't destroy the relationships you are supposed to have. You can't be everything to everybody when you finally realize that you are taking care of your body! Be blessed my brothers and sisters and stay encouraged in the Lord.
Wonderful sermon. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy, it's not a principle it's one of the 10 commandments. He said remember because he knew that a lot of us would forget. It's not just a day for physical rest but to remember our Creator and Redeemer. To reflect on Him and His Goodness. God bless.

The part where you read the bible just to find sources for preaching was a REVELATION to me. Who knew the enemy could tactically hit us this way? Wow so thankful Pastor Flowers that the Lord introduced me to "Redefined." The one thing I would say for when this is all over is that you will no longer have to call on your Amen section. Just preach my brother! The Holy Spirit, the angels of Heaven, and the Church (thousands you can not see or hear) are yelling Amen! I know its hard to preach without the crowd but you have certainly mastered preaching for an audience of one....the One who is the Author and Perfector of our Faith so carryon Pastor! Preach!
Hard to imagine when you have young childen having to let go of a relationship with them. Mine traded in Jesus and mom for the evil isms: feminism, socialism and atheism. Never would have thought it in a million years. The pain is nearly unbearable. But, God!

Hey, I'm that control freak you mentioned and I know this video is for me. I used to have Saturday as my "Sabbath", a day off when I can just enjoy my life with God alone. But somehow I stopped doing it and I lose balance on my schedule. Plus, I have this weight thinking too much about my life after college. And also, I'm still looking around tryna find a spiritual mentor. I hope God helps me fix my heart and my eyes. but definitely, I need Him.

Heavy on the being surrounded by more drains than fountains that makes you relational exhausted. I live with people who doesn’t pour into me but I keep my distance and don’t lease my ear or heart to them so I’m able to discern what not to do and break the cycle when I have my family🥹
L to the O to the L!!!! Waking up to realise you were in a covenant with junk food...but wait, "I can cook", "I don't even need this anyway!" It's funny now, but when you're physically, mentally and spiritually sick from consuming what is not good for you, there's a pain that is associated with the process of the body rejecting toxicity to make you better. To God be the glory, great things He has done, so loved He everyone, that He gave us His Son!!! It is not a sin to have Godly standards, for by them we are changed into His image. The Lord has been convicting me about the need for an official sabbath in my life and just two weeks ago I decided to dedicate my Monday's (as the weekends are just too busy). I woke up this morning (Monday) and really battled to focus because I've been physically and mentally exhausted trying to figure out how to move forward in my life and doing A LOT of comparing. I was tempted by distractions continually as I attempted to read my devotion and pray but I persevered and a couple hours later I felt a release so I said to myself great, my FOCUS and peace has returned and I can now relax and rest a while, let me chill by watching a sermon....Opened up RU-vid (and resisted the temptation to watch a bunch of nonsense lol) and saw the title of the message! IKNEW it was for ME! You just described exactly what I've been battling the past week or so. Thank you soooo much anointed man of God. Please keep on keeping it alll the way REAL.
