As long as you’re having fun with it, then you can’t really be the “worst artist ever”. Art is subjective and has so much variety from person to person that you can never really be a “bad artist”. The only thing that can ultimately determine whether or not you’re a “bad artist” is if you have fun doing it. As long as you’re having fun making the art, then you can’t really be a “bad artist”. And yes, you will have times when you make Art that you didn’t have fun with and don’t like the results of. But that’s normal, it doesn’t just happen with art. It’s something that happens with all kinds of hobbies. It just means you need to take a break from that hobby and go try something else for a while, come back to it once you feel like continuing with that hobby again. 😁👍

Can u do a half and half painting, with ‘guash paint’ and watercolour paint, maybe of Zendaya Met Gala 2017, she had lots of gorgeous hair, and we know you love doing hair, plus her dress was bright so we could really see the difference in colour

Omg yess! I was told so many things like "don't draw in this angle" "don't turn the page like that" "don't mix anything" "your sketches are too detailed" "the head is too small" (this one's true lol, I can't draw heads or faces xD) But just keep going and do what feels right! You learn what is best for you as you go one! Edit:just to clarify, the face thing was true yes, and I was at that time and still am aware of it. I know it doesn't look like I want it to. But I hadn't asked for help, and therefore it bothered me a little. Although, I guess I shouldn't have drawn at school then.

I think the reason they aren’t blending well is because you’re using water-based markers, which aren’t really meant to be layered and blended. If you use alcohol-based markers you may get a better result because they are designed to be blended together! :)

Wow, it turned out great! Reminds me of a technique I used to do with my art as a kid. I would line my art with a ball point pen. Then color everything with crayola color pencils, and go over it with a similar color crayola marker. It gave everything a smooth finish that I was obsessed with.

I just want to say that you were not the worst artist ever. You literally inspire me every single day to create better art. I put you in my portfolio as an artist that inspires me every day as literally the first artist that inspires me and I went off for like 10 minutes about how amazing you are. Scott, you are a fucking phenomenal artist and I say that with every bone in my body ( and in my room lol) because you inspire me and so many other artists to continue doing what they are doing despite the struggles. My Uncle Ray (yes actually haha) gave me a bunch of really good advice like 'if you give up now, you won't see payoff and success', just something like that.
