My bestfriend is asian and a girl. She always wanted to be a Pilot but her own dad disapproved of it. She went ahead and went to school for business but along the ways he realized that she needed to pursue the thing she loves. Flying. 3 years later - she just graduated with a bachelors in Aviation and completed her private pilot, commercial license and etc. I flew with here a couple of weeks ago and saw her passion and her happiness. I wish you the best Kelly! I know you already don’t care about what other people say but please dont be discourage by other people who say you cannot do it because you can! Truly glad I saw you on Graham Stephan’s channel. Keep being uniquely you!

Wow what a story! Yes it's a long path to even getting a basic private license but so rewarding. And I believe only 7% of pilots are women! I think only 1% of that are minorities. (Don't quote these stats, I just saw it on a documentary)

@@KellyStamps I didn't realize you were reaching out to other pilots... hullo 👩‍✈️ female pilot here :) When 9/11 happened I stopped my commercial pilot training and joined the Canadian Air Force reserves to become an aircraft technician. Many years later here I am in Vietnam as an Airline Transport Pilot. I'm sure you know it already Kelly but you'll get what you want eventually. Unfortunately I never took videos when working on the line...I only have 2 on my channel that were taken on a cargo aircraft--Airbus A300-B4 while working in Turkey.. I'm also a fan of Kpop so I think we'd have some things to talk about 😁 Anyway, I am part of the Stampede and wish you health and whatever your heart desires. Much luv 💜 P.S. I'm so confused because... If someone told me they were a pilot or are training to be a pilot I'd be like.... that's freaking amazing, what!??? Tell me more??? Like it's so much more interesting than hearing someone say they work in an office. Please don’t be so hard on your self . Please know that talking to a counselor/ therapist/ life coaches maybe if you decide to go that way should have no stigma . Please don’t wait until you’re old and have regrets that you are running out of good health & time . Even admitting to all those things is a huge step . Please don’t think you’re alone in feeling that way . There’s nothing wrong with being insecure about what you want to do however reading this I feel that you are depressed about it. If you find yourself being overly anxious or depressed treat yourself like someone you love . Pretend you’re encouraging a best friend or your child. If You would nurture someone else then please know you can’t anyone in life until you love yourself . That’s hard but I have faith for you.?’

I'm 26 and I feel lost a lot of the time. My dad passed away last year and it knocked me off my feet. I realized I was being complacent in my life - playing it safe and not realizing how short it really is. He had a horrible disability and despite that he lived an absolutely full life and gave us everything we needed to life a great life - this I only realized after the fact. I let my anxiety get in the way of so much and I often feel like everyone else has got it figured out. My dad was always telling me to go for things and speakup for myself. I've started doing that a lot more this year. This video brings me a lot of comfort, I was having a bad day today feeling like I haven't done enough. 💛

I’m 28 now and definitely relate to everything you touched on >.< especially the part about moving in silence and not telling everyone your goals/dreams until you are half way there. Cuz people will be quick to crush your dreams because they were to scared to go after their own.

My 20's were the best years of my life in many ways! Cherish them! Some day you will look back and see those years from the perspective of an older adult. You are making your years count in big ways. One key to being an adult is knowing that no one has everything figured out. We figure things out along the way that's how it's always been. Experience will always be best teacher. The people before us just wrote their achievements down with some lies and "embellished stories"and called it history. They didn't know either. It's easier to figure out who you are while navigating this third dimension experience we call life. Happy Birthday Ms. Stamps keep seeing those goals and achieving them.
