Hi Timothy! So you finally made it to Biltmore Forest, NC. Since you're riding through the "posh" Town of Biltmore Forest, please be aware that in order to be "poshly correct," a speed hump or bump has been reclassified a speed breaker because that is different from the norm.😂😂 Yes, Andie MacDowell built a large Tudor Storybook home in Biltmore Forest on the golf course that she lived in for many years. She sold that house about 15 years ago and relocated to a new house in tranquil Balsam Mountain Preserve in Sylva, NC. One day when you visit Sylva, you will really like that town. While Biltmore Forest has long been a beautiful, quiet town of poshness, The Ramble Biltmore Forest (a much newer gated community directly adjacent to the Town of Biltmore Forest, NC but located in South Asheville, NC) is much nicer and has taken poshness to another level. If you get lost in Biltmore Forest, don't fret. Just pull over and remember you are driving around in a house. 😊 I enjoyed this video, Mr. French. Be and stay safe out there! GOD bless!

My father was the chef at Biltmore Forest Country Club 1972 - 1981. You passed the entrance at the 3:08 mark. He used to park his 1970 Fairlane 500 station wagon in the lot at the 3:26 mark.

Most of the roads in BF don't really go anywhere and that's certainly by design! Gotta keep those Ashe-villans out!

I remember driving through this area back in the early 80's the roads were very narrow and speed humbs, bumps and a few potholes too. I remember I had a huge 69' 2dr Chrysler Newport back then. It was like driving a big gold tank and passing other cars got scary at times coming very close the opposite way. I always told my wife at the time I'm not "lost" I just got turned around 😅.
