Have you played with aftermarket antennas and placements ? I think it would be a nice way to message other miners and ask about their setup and results

Hnt price will boom soon. As soon as they blanket certain areas the reward scale will drop to like .001 HNT per week and there you are running their wireless network for them. And you dummies paid them to buy THEIR infrastructure so you could be scammed. Oh, brother!!

Apparently we can expect anywhere from a 90% to 95% reward decrease due to the halving, the example used in the discord server being 200 HNT a month before the 1st halving and 20-10 or even less after the first halving. When pressed on how would they bring new hotspot hosters into the fold if they were going to murder the reward every 2 years the reply was a "Did people stop mining BTC after the halvings?" Asked if this meant the price would shoot up due to the rewards being decreased and was hit with a we cant talk price here. How do yall interpret this?

Got 3 RAK miners on the way ETA July. But watching the helium network grow has been insane. Already up to 280,000 miners. My ONLY concern is that the max amount of helium that can be mined daily is capped. Massive influx in miners may lead to smaller profit margins.
2:29 In other news on scam alerts, there's a company called "Bitwats" that claims to have made some seriously ridiculous ASIC miners. But it's definitely a scam for many reasons that I won't go through here. Just don't buy from them.
My honest advice to all who get their miners in Late May throughout June; do not sell what you mine before the halving in August! That will be the first true test to see if the valuation of HELIUM goes up significantly.
Blows sitting around waiting for my helium to arrive and watching everyone that has them make good returns knowing that by the time I have one in hand it going to be to late.

Vosk, I ordered 3 Bobcat and 4 Nebra miners but I read they have to be 300-350 meters apart? Is there a work around to run all 7 of them in my place? I don’t want to have to ask other people to house them for them to operate.
If you have multiple hotspots do you need to setup the hotspot on where it will be placed or you can set it up on one location and after setup is complete you can place it on where you want it?

@@johnschneider4363 Not easy, but I looked up the number for the company and they helped and I used the tutorial on their site after converting to English. They can do better than that crap payment crap! Look for the FAQ on Bobcat then find Payment, it was easier to pay. No concern over price changes on a weird system. MugglePay has some help on its site too but Bobcats is better.
Check th3 coverage map in your area on nebra site bro. You can click on a nearby miner and see how.much it.mines. then just times that by the price of the coin. One near me mines, 177 helium per month.

I have the original hotspot miner. I live in some apartments with apartments blocking me every direction but once I put up a 5.8 dbi antenna at my window I went from .1 hnt a day to 8-14 hnt a day no joke. I was thinking about making a video on it. But I just ordered 10 Rak hotspots and 10 outdoor Nebras.
So if i understand this correctly, if i set it up on the window shelf then i mustn move it at all? like not even a little bit? because they will charge $10? or can i move it around the house and then just put it back where it was..? or was this meant if i completely change the loaction, like moving it into another house?

Just ordered my Bobcat Miner. Had no problem ordering using their payment portal. Really wasn't hard to do. Just have to go slow and double check everything is entered correctly. The how to video was a great help. Thumbs up to Rezinion for making it. Thanks VoskCoin for the video.
It's not a paid advertisment. If you do some research about the hotspots. People are randomly chosen for consensus groups that reward them with a high amount of HNT tokens. A hotspot near was chosen and earned about the same in 1 day.
@@mikhail716 yeah but he said the miners are not available from Hnt. I mean the original miner that vosk has. Ive been on HNT 2 months before voks video and those miners were not available so i do think this is paid
@@captainvenom4377 correct, the original HNT miners aren't available (square white box/black circle) however, Drew stated that his Bobcat box (ironically his least profitable per day) was the helium miner that earned the consensus bonus. No paid advertising....just happened to be pure luck - about a 1/2500 chance that will become less easy to hit when more miners ship.

Yes, SA is in the worldwide network. I have been doing this 4 months and the whole world is invited to join but is their choice. Example for you is China where the majority of these miners are made (not Nebra) and China is barely being covered but their choice. With over 50% of the ASIC miners being in China doing Bitcoin maybe they are not interested, not sure. I am not going to criticize Vosk here as the guy has forgotten more miner stuff than i will ever learn but we need to be clear about the total cost of these Helium miners in the real world. My Nebra outdoor model was $510 with shipping and tax (without outdoor antenna) and these things have limited money making potential without outdoor antennas. If you live 5-6 floors up on a balcony in a big city well then yes you can do with the tiny antenna (2dBi) that the miners come with. However, my 8 dbi antenna was only $90 extra on Amazon and will triple your potential income (unless you live in the middle of nowhere then you are screwed.) Helium network calls you a lone wolf and you will hear this term a lot if you join the people's network. Back to my major point of true cost. That is $600 for one miner and even if you ordered today it will be late summer before it arrives. Vosk is correct you cannot have two miners in one house as they will slash you bad. These folks plan to be around over 20 years so getting in early is a good idea and with google backing them that tells you that yes, South Africa can play the game also. Here is one thing most newcomers are not aware of and that is the Helium halving on Aug 1,2021. There is good and bad here. The good is the helium token will go up as their will be less (just like Bitcoin halving) however, there will be less rewards to go around just when a huge swath of people are getting their new miners... Yes, these miners are worth it as long as you do not live in the sticks. ; ))
For those of you confused about the total cost on the Nebra website look very close at that number...that's pounds not dollars and the mighty dollar is down the last few weeks against some world currencies. Paypal will change it for you but you will be shocked at your final cost. Nebra is British and all the others are made in China...

Forget about it. I am an early adopter 1.5 years of mining and I have never got into a consensus group. That is why he is correct when he said he basically hit the lottery.
