*Corrections!* - Validators don't go live in August, I think they go live in around 4-6 months. I will eventually make a video covering Validators setup and details! Glad you all enjoyed the video! Make sure to watch through it all to get the full picture if this is a good investment for you or not. I do give the worst case scenario later on in the video. Hi i wanted to thank you for making this video. however i have one question when i purchase hnt miner from your link, that is the only item i need correct? i dont need any other parts
This is the level of detailed other content creators should have aimed for but missed by a long shot. Incredible quality as always, thanks for sharing!
you said you got 5, if you had a land of 5 sq miles, how would you set up the 5 for MAX mining.... basically at exactly 300m equidistant to each other? Is that the optimal distance always? And if you cant, is it better to go closer or farther away, i.e., if u had another location 500m away or 200m meters away etc..... Cant find this info anywhere
It's called RU-vid revenues. RU-vidrs dont care about anything other than the checks from Google Ads/RU-vid views. They ruin and saturate every industry.
@@Crypto_Jefe if everyone thought like you, progress would slow down drastically. There’s a reason big companies open source some of their products to the general public.
You cant be more right! Its def a huge hype right now, that is why I mainly focused on the worst case scenario so you dont fomo into it. I hope it helps putting things in perspective!
Thanks for the math and projections for after the halving. So the 6 keys for getting decent profits for those of us waiting on miners to arrive after August seem to be: 1. place in less densely areas in major cities/suburbs, 2. buy more than one miner (like, 4 to 5), 3. Have an antenna at least 15' off the ground (depending on terrain), 4. hope the token continues to appreciate as the number of miners increases, 5. hope for an increase of rewards for data packets as more people used the network, and 6. staking.
I've seen some people within a 10-15 miles radius making 1-3 HNT / month, some making 50-100. What causes this large discrepancy if the majority of profits is from having other hotspots near you?
The time it takes to ship these things you would have gotten it in October anyway. And at $500 and some of these miners only making ~$2/day (If no one is around them) You're looking at almost a year of mining before break even. The only plus to this is it consumes little power and is truly passive set and forget.
@@duanerackham9567 its all about location and probably adding a high powered antenna, I seen places in Utah making 11 HNT a day and surprisingly far from alot of the other miners in the area
@@duanerackham9567 if you got 2 and set around 300 meters from each other u can get minimum 45 helium a week But if you are the only one using it and no one around u get $2 a day
So in reality this mining device is only as good as the work network you’re using. Most likely people will have to upgrade work service too for the increased useable
nice vid bro! bought a bobcat miner 300, I want to keep it on my balcony , rain gets in, will the antenna last? the unit could hold up as well? if not I can keep the unit inside at least, thanks
Anyone have updates using this? #NewbJitters Also, is there such a thing as being a 'landlord' to someone's helium miner if you have a condo in a heavily dense area? If so, what would be a reasonable percentage for this landlord to take?
Great video, I should get my Bobcat next shipment and very excited. That SP North America Syncro bit is now $650, bobcat price has not increased yet $429, as I am looking to buy a 2nd for my sons house. I can see them all raising their price more and more to a point where nobody will buy it as the HNT rewards diminish. Thanks for a great explanation, not sure why I never saw this back in May when I was looking and purchased mine.
I yolo'd $10,000 into gme in February so I'm definitely not gonna shy away from yoloing $10,000 into helium miners right now. I'll see you all in august when I either start printing money or buy $ROPE
Hello, thanks for the great video. D you know why SP North America is not included in the Heluim Makers list, please? There is SyncroB.it but not SP North America.
This pisses me off that there is so much competition into this & all these fuckers are buying up these things & bringing profitability down. I still have a profitable plan with these but it's annoying that rewards go from $3,000 to piss all!
If you have no IoT devices in the area you deployed the hotspot, does that affect earnings? Or is it purely just based on staying online and polling nearby miners?
This seems like an interesting way to get into mining. Atm it seem to be quite profitable, and with the low energy, space, and (compared to other ways) price it would be more accessible to people.
@@FranOfBattle wait srsly bro Voskcoin is a dog he got 1.1 mllion views in his hellium video probs intiating around 50k orders by himself. knowning his audience. he hyped af. I ordered mine but only 1 to play it safe half of this kids dont do research they just have money to throw out of the window. Pathethic.
@@FranOfBattle from which manafacturer? As far as I know I think shipping starts in June to September based on your batch since it's still in pre-orders/back-orders now . Alhtought becareful guys, I suggest not going bananaz on this. Invest what you can afford losing
@@MiningChamber Only Parley/Rak and bobcat started already the shipping. Nebra is an absolut catastrophe, they wouldnt start until end of may! The good thing is, that the network wouldnt get spammed so fast, bcause even bobcat has now a leading time of 20weeks.
I could have bought one of these in Feb when I was hearing about it but I thought it seemed weird or a scam or that it wouldn't make much money. But according to the map those around me are making BANK. Now these go for north of $5k on eBay and they are backordered until Summer. FML! This cheap little shit can make more money than my expensive ass 12 GPU mining rig! And it uses virtually no electricity and doesn't make so much noise or give off so much heat!
HI COOL video.. I have Few Questions. 1) how many Helium accounts I can have other 1 phone & same home ? 2) can I have 1 helium at my place and another 3,4 miles away for the same app phone but Different WiFi and rauther

Thanks for this video bro, I am Paul living in Thailand. I checked the helium explorer but could not find any HNT Hotspot in my area. Please which do you advise me to buy?
Yeah I ordered mine and I’m in the second batch so I can’t wait to get it because it is one of the coolest project that has ever happened in the crypto world
I have 0.1HNt in my wallet. but when I am going to update my antenna and height in helium app it said I havent sufficient dc inorder to update the same. How can I resolve this. Help me..
Hi just want to ask how much for this hotspot ? And do I need to link to plug in computer or any internet device ? And do I need to pay anything else to mining this coins ? And how much possible can make a day ? Just want to know is that worth to buy it ?
i checked the map and in Austria/Vienna there are (lets say) none. If I would by 3-4 devices than I would have to place them in locations where they can see each other (Line of side) correct? Would it not to be best when I place the devices on a field in each corner?
It gets sent to your app then from there you can send it to wherever you want! You can send to binance sell it to Bitcoin then cashout Bitcoin. If your not sure how cashing out works then this should help ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EDyXRf_Ug_U.html
I don't think so, from my limited understanding, even the "lone wolf" earns. Check out the explorer map, find a unit that doesn't have anyone close, from what I've seen, they still pull in .7 or so HNT a day explorer.helium.com/coverage Coverage Map - Helium Explorer
Very good explanation, my first video from you, congratulations! Question: if i have one/more than one hotspot the app has to be close to each one of them or after configuring it is to leave it on and can i be any place (at office for example)? Thank you @Mining Chamber!
Thank you!! So after your initial pairing you don't need to be near it anymore. I think they are adding a way to remotely pair it too but you can double check on that with their discord server
You say it's 5-10KB/s but the site says > "Roughly the hotspots use 30-50GB Per month, overall this roughly is 200-300kBps constantly on the network so should be of little impact to most networks."
I'm concerned that the project isn't making a great deal of profit from actually providing value, rather by "proof of coverage" model, of which the reward is eroding away. The project doesn't seem to be very decentralized, either. Why would a DIY miner not be allowed to profit from the PoC? what is the concern here?

Do you have to live by your miners? I live in California, and I'm going to buy a miner for myself, but if my parents live in Colorado, can I set up some miners there and collect rewards in California without any hassle?
