Seems fun but the camera rotation makes me nauseous. Can you add accessibility options to disable this and make the rotation instant or completely off?
The top view feels very bad since the top of the pieces are just flat and also its hard to know whos playing who i suggest adding some colored hats or something
This is quite well done, I think visibility should be improved though, it's kinda hard to tell what is what and what belongs to who. Also I haven't played it but crows sound incredible busted. Whoever takes a piece first just loses because their opponent takes the king or queen with 1 crow, then player 1 retaliates, then player 2 takes the other and wins the game. But this isn't an issue with your game but with oat's design
THIS WAS FKING AMAZING. Dude...I respect you a lot...... not just for making the game, but making a 3d version with actual piece models. Thats amazing. Wayyy better but harder than a 2d chess game if you know what I mean
I started writing a comment on the original video months ago and never finished. Here's two important points: 1. Not to be confused with Chess 2: The Sequel. By Ludeme Games. This isn't a sequel, this is just Chess 2: The Better Chess. 2. I think Regimental Chess is the worthy successor to chess, although sadly the online version doesn't work anymore. Only moving ONE PIECE at a time? I know I'm bad at chess, but, come on, git gud scrubs

Nice! Do you know where I can browse some config files for automatically applying formatting to different parts of syntax in a certain language? Maybe with regular expressions? I don't know if you have one installed, since the automatic colour at on_welcome showed as black, which is the default without syntax highlighting enabled. Maybe is it the default for that part of code in that scheme?
it's pretty hard to distinguish between player 1 and player 2 it need to be blatenly obvious so that you can see your pawns just from the corner of your eye that's a reason why classic chest make them white and black the game look and feel great
Suggestion: The elephant definitely needs a buff because he is kind of useless. My idee is that he will create a shockwave that will stun surrounding peaces and can jump over enemies, or something like that. The crow also needs a debuff
The video is great, and the game looks fun, but it’s quite hard to tell the pieces apart, and the crow looks way to overpowered. Also you kind of speak too quickly in the video, maybe slow down a bit for your next video, but ultimately, I thought the editing was great and the game is great!

Was it even necessary to nerf the monkey when its so easy to capture with the crow? Also, it seems like there should be a way to stop players from moving all 4 crows in succession.
Sorry but I just had to point this out. At 1:58 the pawn starts on the 2nd row and not the 3rd and can only move 2 squares upon leaving the 2nd row for is 1st move
im a kid, and i dont want to ask my parents to buy me chess 2, it would sound wierd to them, i was going to download it, but i couldnt because you need to put in your credit card number for 0 dollars (which is what i put the price as), so now i cant play that masterpiece
When monkey has banana he eats it then when enemy approaches it becomes fps poop throw to save the monkey and cancel out the others turn by blinding them
