You're really making AAA games quality on dreams? Damn, you make it looks so smooth and high quality that I even forgot it wasn't a trailer/teaser from a big game studio.
I don't know if he published it but if you got Dreams and a PS4 or PS5 you can play it. If he published it of course.@@xbloxlive5454

I thought it was something official due to the quality being so high, now I am even more surprised to see that is a 1 person work, you are absolutely incredible!
Absolutely love this! It’s looking wonderful and Courage really works great for a game like this! One suggestion I have, maybe have Courage whine and make scared noises here and there? I feel like it’s a little TOO quiet at the moment and it would go a long way to sell the fear he’s feeling. Kind of like the sounds Luigi makes in Luigi’s Mansion. Can’t wait to see more!
The silence does amp up the creepiness of the game, but it is very silent. Adding some Courage whimpers during the scripted scares can help keep the tension high, and adding some more ambient noise to the house like the wood or pipes creaking would help out a lot. I'm unsure if this will go more in the direction of a horror game or try to keep the light heartedness of Courage, but I can't wait to see more!
Can we acknowledge together that that moment where the hands popped up in first person behind third personed Courage was completely brilliant. I have just never ever seen anything like that before. Watch him turn around like. " Who's behind me?" was just so creepy and I think such a mechanic hasn't really been a thing before. The camera is alive and following you. That's just terrifying
You're making a game based on one of my favorite cartoons of all time!? Wonderful. The modeling is on-point. Very much invokes the show's art style. There's a lot of care in your projects. I love it already!
Okay, someone please show it to Dilworth ASAP. This is still some AAA quality stuff right there, and it's all coming from a game engine made by the guys who brought to you LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway!
Dude wtf this is fantastic. Courage The Cowardly dog is at least one of my favorite shows growing up. And this is absolutely fantastic, You did it so well. Both the style and the horrific atmosphere. Not only does it show that you know what made the show good, but it shows you have good horror game skills and cinematography skills in general
Fantastic work! Very fine tuned and atmospheric! The hands that appear behind Courage as he walks down the hall.. Very well done! I especially liked the subtle shadow hand on the walls!
this looks incredible so far, but something that felt missing was Courage's little bouncy run he does. i think it could be used when you push the analog stick all the way
I must applaud you on this! Most spooky games don't get under my skin but my anxiety was high the whold time you showed us the gameplay you had! Awesome work as always!
I'm sold! Looks amazing so far, love the design choices you've made as well, it really shows so much care. Can't wait to see what you can continue to do with this.
Just this small bit of gameplay is absolutely amazing. You're doing so much creative stuff with light and perspective. I can see what an amazing horror game you could do with this that's full of charm and personality while also being genuinely scary. This is one of the best things you've made yet, and that's saying a lot. It makes me kind of sad that it's limited to Dreams as a platform. It deserves to be a fully independent project. You're doing amazing things with the tools you have available. I know this is still really early, but I think one thing that's missing is Courage emoting a bit more while he's waling around. Maybe have him looking over his shoulder as the player is walking through the house, or fidgeting with his little hands, and use sound clips of him whining and mumbling in fear. Or saying "I just know something bad is going to happen!" The show really loved reusing the same sound clips for characters over and over. It's something that would've seemed lazy in any other show, but in Courage seemed deliberate and really added to the charm. I think you should try to use voice clips from the show anywhere you can.
It looks fantastic! Me parece increíble lo que has hecho. Everything looks so good and the atmosphere is nice, my favourite is Courage's expressions and actions. Sometimes is a little difficult to get accostumed to the realism but that's my fault. If I am honest, I would love to see the other endings that you made for the other villains.
This as a game just clicks with me instantly! I loved how faithful (while being creative) you were with some of the scenes and villains! Would definitely be looking forward to more of your other villains you worked on, and generally speaking, really just can't wait to see more of this game! Amazing work here! Bravo!
Dude Fantastic job!!! I love this SO much! I've been a fan of Courage the Cowardly dog since as long as I can remember! You got everything down pat!!! This game looks so cool! I would love to see all the villians in the next video! I saw three already. Fred the freaky barber, Benton Tarentella, and the shadow from the episode The Shadow of Courage. Keep up the great work mi amigo!
You've made something really special here, amazing work! While I wish you were developing the game in Unity or another dev software that would allow it to reach a wider audience on Gamejolt or Steam, your work is absolutely impeccable. Fantastic job on capturing the atmosphere of the Bagge Farmhouse and every little detail, especially Muriel looks wonderful. I do hope the Bagges aren't absent for the entirety of the game, Muriel and Courage's love for her is what makes his drive in the show so compelling. My favored villains to appear would definitely be Katz and Cajun Fox. It would be a great opportunity to give Cajun Fox an actual horror episode, since he really only appeared in a slapstick episode very early on in the show's run and has great potential. From how you put it, it almost seems like the game you're planning might be episodic, fitting for it being based on a TV show, with Courage in different levels and different environments suiting the different villains he deals with. That would be a lot of work, but also a great way to show your creativity in creating surreal and unique environments themed around each baddie. This is extremely promising work, and I hope you keep at it!
7:14 Ahh Man, his brings so many memories and nostalgia of my golden childhood days 😌 Kids of this generation or the upcoming generations will never have the childhood we had 😌
Hell yes I would like to see the other villains you made here! Courage has some truly fiendish characters and I'd love to see them rendered in Dreams. Seeing everyone so fuzzy, textured and (in the case of Tarantella,) greasy is a delight. I'd love to see where else he ends up, how you can really push the horror elements around in an RE like surreal horror space.
I definitely need a finished game of this, its so great, especially given how many different things you could do with this, you could easily make this a chapter-by-chapter game maybe. Incorporating more of the villains, and the last boss could maybe be the one from the "you're not perfect," episode, or the one boss who trying to destroy the entire world. Forgot his name but he was the black and white-faced man who was an actual man with a grainy and noise textured face. Also you could really branch out with this! Maybe making other locations like the town, or the facility from the one episode with Eustace and the "hair serum," or the mountains and other places, if you go far enough with this game! It has a lot of potential like your other projects but i personally think theres a lot more story that could be told with this game, and horror, lots and lots of horror.
I’ve followed your Hit and Run videos for ages, but wasn’t recommended this video. I was recommended the video you recently released that was just gameplay and after watching I came to this one. I prefer these types of videos but if it’s not recommended I probably won’t see it until months later. I love it and really really hope you continue working on it! Only thing I’ve noticed that I don’t like personally is when trying to open a locked door. It’s a cute and charming animation at first but I can imagine when playing lots I could get impatient and annoyed waiting for the animation to end so I could carry on playing. Hope that makes sense? The game looks so good though, fantastic job.
This is fantastic! You nailed the atmosphere and all the little details, and the scripted sequences felt natural and seamless. Truly impressive what you managed to do within Dreams. I wish your Dreams content got more views, you have such creative talent and deserve more recognition for your work. I can't wait to see what you do next.
This looks incredible man, it's exactly how I always imagined a courage game playing and I'm extremely excited to see more! And y'know, maybe you *could* give courage a gun You could have a couple joke items that dont actually do anything, like a toy pop gun, or a blowtorch to (ineffectively) use on locked doors
The creativity is impeccable and this take on courage the cowardly dog is probably the best adaptation I’ve ever seen. And i love the ps1 esque with the inventory system gives that silent hill vibe. Definitely inspiring
This reminds me of an old flash game on cartoonnetwork called creep tv. It was a pixel-y explorer game where you had to find objects to advance the story too. I love your ideas and the work. When I first saw it, I also thought the carpet looked amazing!
I like the beginning with the usual piano theme, everything's peachy, then it abduptly cuts, no music, it's just Courage in the dark with ambience. Love it.
This is awesome and so skewwy 😭 looks really great. I am 29 years old and recall playing a Codename KIDS Next Door game on Cartoon Network’s website which involved you going around to different cartoon settings and having to look for specific items to make weapons and stuff and Courage’s world was one of the places you go to. Always wanted to explore that place more! The days when you could play random flash or javascript games online were great.
Thank you for being such an amazing person and bringing peoples dreams to life, keep up the amazing work dude. You're killing it ❤ I hope I get a chance to play this one day
I had been waiting for this... Very nice, this show was my childhood, i watched it with my mother and father... I still do sometimes haha... congratulations...
This is insane! Congratulations on the incredible work!. I've always loved Courage and would really like to play it, unfortunately I don't have PS4. I hope one day it comes to PC. In the meantime, I'll be eagerly awaiting the Gameplays.
This is amazing, a loving tribute to the wonderfully strange and kinda horrifying show that I the Courage the Cowardly Dog Show! I think it would be fun if there was segments where you are running away from different villains down like a long hallway, Ala Crash Bandicoot, where you're running towards the camera. I can imagine Kats with a giant mallet running after Courage and swinging it at him as our brave pup has to avoid the mallet and stage hazards. Seemed like a fun idea that could work well with this kind of project, especially with how such chase sequences happen a lot in the show.
This is perfect, really keep going i find the monkey game really intersting y imagine the lore that you have created and corage man a game like that can be what every one needs love your work keep going this is your year
Like it!?!?! I love it bro it brings tears to my eyes honestly you are a absolute god for doing this!! NEW SUB LIFE KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK MY DUDE!!!
This is phenomenal! The graphics and textures are fantastic and the gameplay looks smooth ant fun. I would defiantly pay money to play this if you released it on steam ( I don't have a PlayStation).
aw man this is awesome! courage has such a great opportunity to be a trippy horror game. life through the perspective of a dog? set in a lone house in the desert? awesome
