Well I have to admit that I am personally happy with your decision :) I have only listened to two of the Pandemic series books (so far). Then I kinda jumped ship to your EMP Series books because I wanted to hear you narrate your own stories. I have not been disappointed. You have the Great ability to Change character voices and keep your stories flowing. Easy for me to follow. I have to tell you that I smiled the first time you used the word " furrowed". It was a very appropriate placement of the word and I am glad you are still using it! Have a Fun time writing your 50th book! I look forward to listening to it!
I was thinking about farming in the central valley. There used to be a large lake at the southern end until irrigation etc was ramped up. Large areas would revert to wetland with no pumping which would cause more problems as people where forced to move, crops flooded etc.
I loved the Pandemic series, and as a fan I would love to see another one released. A cool idea I had would be with the Plot of community, not just with our small band we’re grown to know but watching them become leaders of a bigger settlement of people. Maybe creating a storyline around them assisting the new governor in unifying the state. Along the way, they encounter separate factions of survivors who have banded together. Maybe a war ? Between two factions with opposing ideologies ? Idk 🤷🏽♂️ a spur of the moment thought tbh. Although a continuation of the series would be amazing ! I think the book tied everything up and ended very well
I came across your channel by chance and I am loving your audio books! Already listened to both emp books and almost finished with the last pandemic book. I can't wait to listen to the other ones on your channel! Thank you so much for putting them on here! Please keep up the great work and I look forward to listening and reading you other books!
I just wanted to drop in and thank you for these fantastic books, I've listened to the entire pandemic series taking on the EMP series now, and looking forward to the Dare series after I wrap this up. Really helps work Move Along, cheers!
I just found the pandemic story and was totally engrossed by this amazing post apocalyptic story. I really felt for these characters and was really looking forward to book 5. I truly hope you continue this saga. Great Story love your writing.
Christine. I have very much enjoyed these series. I am i guess what some call a prep-er. your books are very well laid out with the beliefs and possibilities of what could very well come to pass. though it certainly a one of our greatest fears, your story telling i believe is right on the money.. you are a fantastic artist and i very much look forward to your coming works. thank you so much. when i am able i will certainly donate to your future. brilliant work.
I listened to Chaos Begins in one day, yesterday and was riveted. I joined Patreon for the first time just now. I want to support and encourage you. As I listened to your soothing voice, I felt guilty for not contributing, kind of like your EMP couple, who are always checking their moral center. As a prepper who is living overseas, I can use your youtube channel to urge others to start stocking up. God bless you, Christine.
My thoughts on EMP Collapse; So i have not read the books, just enjoyed the two audio books you have released. (thank you greatly by the way i hope u make some money off them its a wonderful thing to share them to the public like you have); Firstly I thoroughly enjoyed both books, and your audio recording is more than up to par for a desired quality. Although i find the dialogue does not feel natural it does not in any way detract from my immersion in the story. I am not sure if that is the descriptors or thoughts etc. associated with conversation, but again I find it is no issue at all while listening, not sure if it would be different if i read instead but i doubt it. One thing I found i enjoyed about your writing style is that it is not verbose, which would make it more accessible to people and I personally think they would be an excellent read for a teenage audience. The story as a whole feels simple and easy to follow, but not dumbed down in any way which I credit you greatly for. Personal thoughts on the story. I find the desires and motivations of the characters in the story very relatable and real. no characters no matter how brief their appearance feel like a real person, nobody feels hollow even when written as a archetype character such as the "special forces guy that helps the wife when her coworker is taken" I think you have an excellent understanding of people and have a great ability to write them. Another example is the older gentleman who formed the cooperative and the growth of his character so far in how he is seen by the main characters etc. I also really appreciate the values portrayed in this series from all aspects; from the family relations level up to the desire to work through community to make things the best they can possibly be. The story as a whole feels very grounded in reality in a way i personally appreciate i think you do an excellent job in that regard. Not much else comes to mind immediately off the top of my head, greatly enjoyed so far and looking forward to more. I wish you all the best in your writing endeavor, and again thank you for making this available publicly. Big blessings and keep up the great work!
Thank you! I write in several genres (post-apoc, dystopian, suspense, and romance), but fantasy is one genre that doesn't really interest me. Although I've read Lord of the Rings, that's about the only fantasy book I've read. I did watch The Witcher though, and really enjoyed it! Maybe I'll delve into reading fantasy in the future.
I support your decision to wait , but really hope that you do write a fifth pandemic book . That’s the series that drew me to your writing. What ever you write will be appreciated. Thanks
I want to start by saying I love your writing! My husband loves disaster books so I told him about you. He started listening to the EMP series and had to stop. He has sensitive hearing. He said that the reading has a very tin can sound to it and it drove him crazy. I didnt realize it myself untill I went back to listen again and I also picked up on it. Maybe the room you're reading from is too large? Echo? Or maybe you could use a filter on your mic? I hope you read this and figure it out. I know my husband would love your books. Either way, I will continue listening. Thank you.
@@ChristineKerseyBooks Thank you. Im sorry to bring it up and be the only one. I only did because I love your books so much and I know my husband would also.
I do enjoy the pandemic series. I think it is your best work. I am throughly enjoying the EMP series. You baked a great cake with pandemic. Please let it be. I’m not into parallel worlds. Finish the EMP and move to another post apocalyptic series. Please, as much as I like the books, let the pandemic series rest. Great books and nice wrap up. Don’t undo your own work.
You finished your pandemic book in the spring of 2020, we got covid. Now you're working on an EMP series, I'm thinking I'm going to build me some Faraday cages! LOL. Nice work
I would love another parallel world book. Maybe ecorperate a 3 world with another crazy set of crazy laws, maybe one where Morgan is living under globalism and somehow the new Morgan pulls the original Morgan into that world then needs to pull the 2nd Morgan over to defeat China, Russia, or the un or what ever crazy people are running it. Or maybe have her get pulled into a 1940s Germany type situation. I love your books and can't wait for the next 1
No, I haven't. I love that series so much (I think it's my favorite that I've written), but I feel like the series is wrapped up. Books 4 and 5 were actually bonuses as I was going to be done when I completed book 3, so I've already written more in that series than I thought I would.
That would be quite a story! I don't have any plans to write any more in that series though. I'm so glad to hear that you love my books! Thank you for listening!
With the recent purchase of 1400 acres of land in Levy county Florida by China so they can build a monkey experimentation lab that could be the premise for something. Just a thought?
@@lifeintheslowlane5602 it's true. China did purchase that land. However the land is not currently zoned for that type of use and the representatives for the facility from China are trying to file for getting the zoning changed. All of the principal people who will work there have careers in the military medical field in China. People really need to be getting a hold of the county supervisors about that
Please, if you have the time and interest, watch the BBC 1975 TV series called Survivors. Not the later one.. Now, IMO that could make a cracking story, on them lines
Do you respond personally to almost every comment you get or do you have someone to do that for you? I hate to think I'm taking time away from your writing such entertaining books.
I respond personally. I don't have an assistant, but I answer in batches every few days, so it's fine. Anyway, it's a good way to procrastinate the hard work of writing new stuff. 😂
