I once had a small family (mother, teenage girl and kid boy) with a cowplant. Well... As you may have guessed, I didn’t look after the mother for one second and she instantly got killed. The children were really sad and tried to persuade the grim reaper not to take her, but weren’t successful. Then I made a great mistake: I forgot to pause the game when someone wrote to me and I had to answer quickly. So when I went down, I saw both children laughing with the grim. That was kinda weird...
My best sim story was my very first house. It was a pretty standard family, with a mom, dad, and kids. Plus a random kid named Butter Nubs. Butter Nubs wasn't related to anyone in the family, he was just there. So anyway the family kept growing and progressing and Butter Nubs became a young adult. Then, he went to the gym one day and fell madly in love with Eliza Pancakes. Ever since I had watched Dan and Phil's sims playthrough, it was my dream to break up the Pancakes. So, Butter Nubs began pursuing her HEAVILY. I'd invite her over constantly, flirt, everything. Eventually, I got her to spend the night, and she slept with him and got pregnant. But he still couldn't convince her to leave Bob. So, Butter Nubs decided to do the mature thing in the situation, and take a step back. She went into labor at our house, and the moment she left, I followed her home so Butter Nubs could meet his daughter and get some closure, since he wasn't going to stay in her life. But when I got there, I found that the baby had SPAWNED UNDER THE STAIRS. It was some real Harry Potter shit, except there WAS NO DOOR. And since I was so new to the Sims, I didn't know how easy it would be to load the house, move the baby to safety, and move on. No, I thought that the only way to move the baby would be to have her move in with me. Meaning I now thought that breaking up this family was a matter of LIFE OR DEATH So, with the baby still under the stairs and Bob still not knowing anything, I had Butter Nubs seduce Eliza again. They only made it halfway to woohooing before Bob freaked the fuck out, they yelled at each other, and the emotions ran high enough to break up the marriage. Eliza divorced Bob, and she and the baby moved in with Butter Nubs Things were still weird after that. Some highlights: Eliza and Butter Nubs named their second child Butter Pancakes One of their kids marrried a blue sim I made named Blueberry who became Blueberry Pancakes Remember the original family Butter Nubs lived with? Well his adoptive sister from that family married Bob on the rebound. It's a long story Butter Nubs other daughter grew up to be a gold digger Wild
Fun fact - in Sims 4, great-grandparent isn't a family title you can have. So technically speaking, you can have a great-grandparent get married to their great-grandchild. Such a realistic game!

@@kittybands4209 Def mods. I even checked again in case my memory was wrong. It was not. Sims 4 is honestly such a disappointment in many ways, but for me personally, the fact that they lack so many family titles is the biggest problem they have.

One time I used MCCC to cheat multiples so the town would be known as 'The town who only birthed twins and other multiples' and halfway through, I figured out it was making the Landgraab's teenage son the baby daddy. So all these women had twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, etc, etc. He was a dad of like a hundred kids before he could even drink, legally.
It was kinda weird that in a group conversation, instead of the son thinking it was awkward, EVERYONE got a romantic boost from the conversation. There were two ++heart boosts.
She really should try mccc. The families that mod comes up with are just unbelievable. I almost got my sim married to his 2nd counsin's grandchild. And don't get me started with vampires

Same with James Turner’s Bigwallet family. It was all fun and games until about Get Famous, at which point two Sims became half-siblings/cousins... (same dad, different moms who were sisters). And one of them dated the other’s cousin’s half-brother. It got very...complicated to say the least

My complex family: -So I tried the 100 baby challenge -the 13th kid was a normal looking guy. As usual, raised him, aged him and shipped him out since there was an 8 sim limit. -Next kid: LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HIS BROTHER. Freaky but I figure it’s a glitch. -few more kids: one of my older daughters is pregnant and when I look up the baby daddy, he looks like her brothers. -so her son looks like her brothers kid! - (I kept buying youth potions to maintain the same matriarch) So about 10 kids later, there is another grandkid announced and a few deaths. It’s the sons who look alike who die and there is a second baby daddy. He’s yet another copy. Turns out my game in particular just loved that one look and was only randomizing the age and name and not the features. Weirdest generated outfit was the Afro, coat tails and swim trunks combo.
My most complicated family: The guy had 2 children with the woman he married, they divorced, the guy remarried a Karen and had another kid, the oldest child from the woman moved out, married her girlfriend and adopted a boy, the woman remarried also but with a superstar and had 2 children again, twins this time.
My most complicated family without any cheats (done in the cas) A man had 2 daughters with his sister and the sister had an other daughter with some other guy. The brother then got two children with his own daughter and with his sister's daughter. The sister's daughter also had a child with the son the man got with his daughter It was complicated but I succeed :D

At first, I was very disappointed that this wasn't an "I am my own grandpa" scenario, but this was a ride. A disappearing baby is definitely more complicated.
My complex family tree was Don Lothario had kids with Katrina, Dina and Nina which resulted in kids called Don Lothario II, III, IV, V and one girl called Donna.
I had Don Lothario have a baby with the Caliente sisters, their mom, Eliza Pancakes, Cassandra and Bella Goth, Summer Holiday, Alice Spencer-Kim, Nancy Landgraab, and Zoe Patel. And then he settled down with Russian twins, and fathered both their babies. It was buck wild 10/10 would do again.
There is another youtuber (Clare Siobhan) whose main series is so complicated that some of the sims have disappeared off the family tree completely lol
Fun fact, if you just take a whole bunch of selfies with the person you want your sim to be friends with, you can practically make them your best friend about 1,000 gajillion times faster than just normal interactions. You just have to take selfies with them three times.

My most complicated family: A woman married Geoffrey Landgraab then when he died she married Malcom (his son) 💀 She had a child with Geoffrey so that child was Malcom’s half sister and also step daughter
My most "complicated" save is probably just my Pancakes save simply bc of the family size Bob and Eliza had twins, Eliza cheated & left Bob for Caleb, has two daughters with him. Shes also a vampire too now. Bob later got with Eva, has three kids with her (a single kid and another set of twins) the eldest of those 3 is a spellcaster, Bob was one temporarily to help cure her from a curse and then resigned his magical powers. The original twins are now adults, one is dating Olivia Kim-Lewis, who had a half alien kid generated by mccc already. They afterwards had a daughter and then a set of triplet daughters. Olivia is a mermaid and Alex a werewolf, the half alien son also became a spellcaster. Iirc the whole set of triplets are mermaids. The other twin got married to the Eco-Life scam lady whose name I forgot. He has an alien baby bc he was abducted during University, and his bf at the time cheated on him too soooo yeah. He now also has a set of twins with her. Oh yeah an Elizas & Caleb's eldest daughter is dating Vlads daughter that he had with the simself of an old classmate of mine. In conclusion Twins run in the family. Also I'm considering adding their canonical Son Iggy to the save, making him the older sibling of the initial twins, and idk he was out living with extended family or something.
Or because the name card popped up. It works when you have twins with one sim, but I think the name card popping up delayed/glitched Sandra's child from getting named, and just erased it from the game.
My most complicated family was an old one I continued in Sims 3. What happened is that I installed Supernatural, then made one of the (female) kids a fairy. Then I used NRaas to make the mom pregnant, and specified that the other parent should be a fairy... without thinking about the fact that there was only one fairy in the town... the kid. It wasn't until the baby boy was a toddler that I noticed that the fairy girl considered the boy her son. And that's when I realised what had happened. So the boy was the other kids' half-sibling and also nephew, the fairy girl's son and half-sibling, the mother's son and grandson, the grandmother's grandson and great grandson. And I was mildly horrified by the implications of it all for a little while. Then I grew used to it and now I just kinda laugh about it.
With my 100 baby challenge, basically the whole town is populated by the one family 😂 I’ll be playing one of the daughters from my second matriarch and then see a hot guy, then realised it’s actually her uncle or cousin or something 🤦🏼♀️

Fun fact but after 5 generations the sims just refers to their great x grand parents as "ancestor" and considers them far enough away genetically that it allows romanctic interactions. So anyways my one sim woohoo'd with the ghost of her great great grandfather but what of it/

I remember back in the old days when the first sims came out, I used to make families like this ALL the time. By the way your commentary had me crying from laughing so hard!! 🤣🤣🤣 Some of the comments on here are super funny as well and just making it even better.
This was my most complicated family: I made two sisters (one adult and one teen) and made the older one have babies with two people before marrying Mortimer and having a baby with him. Then after moving in together, I made the younger sister get in a relationship with Cassandra and made them have a kid together. I then killed Mortimer off and got the older sister to marry Bella, adopt a kid, and then cheat on each other with the same guy and get pregnant by him. Edit: update! Bella and the older sister gave birth to two girls. So I got the older sister’s daughter to marry Alexander Goth and have a child with him. So we’ve officially wrecked the Goth family one member at a time :)

They cheated on each other with the same guy. The guy impregnated both of them. Because the older sister married Mortimer Goth, Cassandra would become her step-daughter. The younger sister had a baby with Cassandra so that would make the baby the older sister's nephew/niece and grandchild. Bella and the older sister got married and got impregnated by the same guy so both their children would be half-siblings. The children would have the same dad. Technically they would have the same moms too because Bella and the older sister are married. The older sister's kid would also have three other half-siblings. The older sister's kid and Bella's kid would have an adopted sibling. All of the older sister's kids would be the younger sister's nephews/nieces. The younger sister's kid would be cousins with all of the older sister's kids. Sorry for the long reply LOL but that's one complicated family-tree. Let me know if I left anything out. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it myself.

One I did was made a single father with a son marry a single mother with a daughter. The son and daughter would become step-siblings, they would have a child together. Then the son has a child with his step-mom and the daughter has a child with her step-dad.
That child would be Costco's Niece/Nephew, First Name's Half Brother/Sister, Disappearing child's Cousin, and Maria and Phosco's Grandchild.... that's actually the least complicated combo weirdly enough XD
There is a German band who did a song about being their own grandfather. In the story there are a father and his son as well as a rich widow and her daughter, who happens to be just 18 years. The son marries the widow and the father marries the daughter. After both women have had children, suddenly the son is his own grandfather, because his sister in law's son is also his half brother, as well as his wife's grandson. So if they're both brothers, this makes him his wife's grandson as well. You need to listen to the song a few times before you get it xD

Imagine your great-grandparent is a vampire, and you’ve never met them, until one night you’re dancing it up in a night club and they just nonchalantly start hitting on you, you become their next bride and have a baby- then out of curiously you check out their family tree and you are yourself near the bottom and your baby at the top.

@Klay Eskuche Mine it's not even a pc, is a laptop that has been used for almost a decade, I can't install any of the packs Thank god my parents bought a better PC, well at least better than my laptop, I installed the full game with some pack and it runs smoothly (kinda) Still our Wi-Fi is one of the many problems, but I can't complain to them, the money situation isn't the best
I had a speed run legacy like has baby age everyone up and start again - and on gen 23 a ghost showed up and so I was like ohh let's woohoo with a ghost and then I realized after they had woohooed that it was the founders husband like her great×22 grandfather
Reminds me of the time i had a couple have a daughter, then each individually had another child. Meaning the daughter had two half siblings, who weren't related to eachother. I then had the two stepsiblings marry eachother and have a kid. And since the original couple stayed together and wasn't in contact with their babies' other parents, the child of the stepsiblings had only 2 grandparents.

Then Jim had a child called Harriet with a woman called Angela. Harriet then married a man called Fufui. Things start to get complicated after this. Morgan had a child with Angela, Rose, Leslie and Harriet, called Marcel, Reese, Haven and Randall. Leslie also had a child with Harriet, Angela, and with Fufui. They were called Eliza, Ty and Dell. Eliza had a child called Lorraine. Then, Rose dumped Vlad and married Randall, her great-grandson, and Jim married Lorraine, his aunt’s granddaughter. Their family tree is so confusing when you click on it, I can hardly keep up with it.
my most complicated family: Sunny has an aunt named Monica, Monica is married with 2 children (twins), Sunny is married to a guy who already had a daughter and she had 2 children with him, then ther husband slept with her aunt and they had a child togheter, who looked nothing like Monica's husband so they got a divorce and he remarried Sunny's mom Ruby, whose husband had died of old age :) (i didnt make him marry Ruby, he did that on his own)
