Hey terrarium designs this is an amazing terrarium and I was wondering if sometime in the future you could make a terrarium with bugs and spiders and creatures like that. That would be an amazing video.
that moss inside the wood was the perfect touch, beautiful set up! im getting ready to get some ivory millipedes and ur giving me some awesome inspiration ❤️
Could you maybe make a terrarium that has a working waterfall? ( a small one of course ) it would be kinda like your terrarium you made with a flowing stream! :) - amazing work btw.
lovely build. I guess you have to be careful nothing grows up high enough for the bugs to use to climb out if you don't use a lid. I have a tiny one with no lid and I daren't go near the top
I'm currently making one of these and my bf said"why do u want to bring a box of dirt and grass with bugs inside".I'm really far from home where it's more buildings than trees and it reminds me of home, acres of forestry and farms.some ppl just can't see the beauty in little things.
could you do a terrarium as usual but use full aqua soil as the substrate? i was always curious for the effectivity of aqua soil (i imagined it could eliminate the need for drainage layer and it looks cleaner compared to dirt). Thanks!
Looking at building my first (probably over ambitious) terrarium. Thought it could make a very cool indoor window. Wondered if you might be able to help/advise.
Maybe make one with jumping spiders? (Make it a little bigger though). You probably have the fruit flies because of your vivarium so it will be easy to feed it/them
May I ask, what kind of water? I have yet to see a video on any channel that specifies. Distilled, Tap, Drinking...? Can I use tap water if it's filtered? Thanks!
Ho! Thanks so much for all the information! I have a terrarium basically the same as yours ib this video but i also put inside an orchid, but the isopods have eaten its leaves so i had to take it outside of the terrarium... Any idea why?
Sir,I am from India it is greatful and joyous to watch your informative videos, but I am not able to find moss for my terrarium which makes it boring,So can you please suggest where to find them in summers?😊
I’m not sure where you can find moss in the wild in India but you may be able to get some online. Otherwise my best guess will be anywhere that is damp & humid, maybe near a river or stream🤔
I have a terrarium that's more than a year old now that contains some isopods. I really need to redo it, because I used the wrong soil mix (organic potting soil without any other additives). I want do redo it with the right substrate. How in the world do I catch and remove the isopods so I can redo it?
Yes that can be very difficult! In the past I’ve taken most of the once I can see out & then just monitor it for a few weeks to make sure I’ve got them all:)
I made one for my emperor scorpion with local isopods, and they have eaten all of the moss! I started feeding them greens left over from my bearded dragons food, but maybe im not feeding them enough?
Yeah isopods are the cows of terrarium world haha, no matter how much moss I plant and extra veggies I give to distract them, the moss always gets eaten up, my advice: use only a handful of isopods, it'll take them longer to eat everything
I am going to make a first terrarium but I don’t want to buy all the ingredients for the substrate I wish I could just buy a small bag of your mixture lol
The terrarium is gorgeous. I also have one and many tell me it's beautiful. cmq is mine you can see at 180 ° since I tried to make a fake 3d background with expansive foam ... I wonder but the plants are bought or taken from nature (park, forest, forest ..) and then inserted inside. to me it works fine . The plants inside now how are there updated videos ? Can I show you my terrarium, if so where? do you have instagram ?greetings Maxim
