Though unbuttoned? = mad scientist. Especially if worn with messy hair and/or some magnifying device on your glasses. If you don't wear glasses? = evil scientist
@@tpoad0079 thanks! I wasn’t bothered by the original comment, but I’m glad there are people like you out there looking out for others! May your day be filled with joy and happiness.
Guys, this must be the most beautiful video on the channel. It is deep, reflective and has so much heart. The love and support from colleagues & friends is heartwarming to watch. Just the thought of doing something like this, solely out of care and empathy - great job by Dean and Jordan! Dean's gesture at the very end is the chef's kiss. Much love to your team!
@@wobbelater7626 Depend on the amount and the freedom of chose what you do. For example, eating will be hard work If you are a food taster who have to eat the food they want you to try and give feedback, and you have to eat a lot while working you cant even eat the thing you actually want anymore. Making vfx is fun but If you have to make it the way your boss tell you to make, Make what your boss tell you and do it with a deadline then maybe it not very fun anymore.
Idk if they are privated now but there used to be videos by Sam and Niko when they were hiring describing their expectations of employees and what people actually do at Corridor
Jordan is not the angriest but by far the scariest when she gets angry 😂 Also strange that Sam didn't make the selection, dude drove a tank through his meemaws house.
@@TeenPerspektiva "I saw what you did there." ... I also thought - at the 07:00 mark - Jordan could have rightfully - and hilariously - said, "... but none in my skin tone."
Jordan easily has the most powerful lungs in that office. She's demonstrated that scream on several occasions over the years. Plus, she works out like an Olympian, gotta have lung capacity for that.
It was so emotional, so true and as much more satisfying in the end She is Gold, but I imagine it’s not easy to be the only woman amongst so many men … 20:41 that 4th wall breaking, like: “I’m with you, buddy, you can do it too”
This is literally the 2012 Kinect Star Wars Game with the mode "Rancor Rampage"! You could run around different planets as a Rancor, destroying buildings, throwing droids and people around or "munching" them. So much fun
I watched that segment again and again and again!! pretty great, top 5 moments on this channel for me and I think Jordan has finally equaled or exceeded Wren in endearing themselves into my heart! This channel is simply the best!
jc's monster and story was such an honest performance. legit moved me a little. and overall, maybe my favorite corridor crew vid since maybe the "to the death" behind the scenes?? great idea and execution Dean and the team!!
In filming the shot in "Multiplicity" (1996) which Doug #1 introduces Doug #3 to Doug #2, Doug #2 tosses a beer to Doug #1. Michael Keaton catching the beer (tossed by a body double) was shot first. Keaton tossing the beer (this time TO a body double) was filmed later. Keaton's toss so perfectly matched the body double's original toss that the planned special effect of digitally erasing the tossed beer can then adding in a digital beer can was not needed, thereby saving the production quite a bit of money. This was referred to by the special effects crew as "The Million Dollar Miracle Beer Can Toss."
Wren's monster looks a lot like the one I drew in art therapy class. Great intervention. As a musician, I have Metal, Dark Ambient and Hard Techno to deal with my monsters. Let technology heal us all.
We here at Stellar Knights fully agree with your philosophy that the world needs a way to destress… by becoming a giant monster in VR and destroying cities. It’s possible we’ve been working on something very similar to your simulation… 😉
Random note. I've woken up about 10x this year having had a dream about working at Corridor Digital. You guys bring us with you so much, I feel like it's a part of my life. Thank you. Also, thankfully I don't need to destroy a city (real or virtual) to get my anger out. I'm not that angry. But I can still enjoy watching Corridor Digital do that.
The plot twist was mind-blowing, and the moral was truly inspiring. The interrogations were so funny. 6:57 Wren trying to look inside himself 😄 7:13 Jordan's voice. I really love her. 21:38 Wren's anger looks genuine. He seemed irritated. But cracked me up hard. 😬 We need more video like this.
Two observations... 1) When the sponsor segment lands like the punchline of a non-sequitur joke, makes me laugh, AND compels me to ignore skipping it, that's a WIN. Well played! 2) This channel **needs** more JC screams and destruction! Is there still time to cast her as a serial-unaliver or spoopy supernatural monster in this year's Halloween content? I want to see her do to the Corridor offices what the movie JAWS did to beaches and swimming pools in the 80's.
September is the hottest month here so it is essentially summer to us. It's been well over 100 in the greater Los Angeles area for the past 4 or 5 days (take a look at the past few days in Woodland Hills) and it's just about to cool back down so this was timed perfectly.
Yo. It's _brutal_ hot here. September is not the end of summer. And October is barely the beginning of autumn any more. This thing is accelerating and it's coming to a city near you.
Love the making up a premise to play around with mocap but... Fun fact: releasing anger physically makes your anger issues worse. Studies showed that counting to 10 or playing a violent video game gives good effects while something like punching a pillow makes the person angrier both immediately and over time.
While I naturally agree that Kaiju is absolutely the answer to ANY problem, sadly, "venting" does not really work as advertised. PSA: expressing anger increases levels by feeding the rage-monster instead of calming it.
Of course, the flip side of that is that bottling your bad vibes up doesn't do anything to resolve them either until you *completely* forget them. And if your thoughts tend to wander when you're insufficiently mentally occupied... even walking to work might not be all that healthy.
Because you know what ELSE keeps the rage monster present and angry? Getting your thoughts stuck in a loop that keeps feeding it memories of the original provocation.
@@Kythyria Yup. The research shows that taking action to de-escalate emotional arousal is the way to go rather than amplifying it. That is, unless, of course: "KAIJU!" In such case, one must naturally kaiju.
Fun fact: The film, "Godzilla" in 1954 was actually an allegory about the attacks of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. What a true masterpiece this movie was, for what it really represented, but when the movie was announced in America in 1956, they ended up removing the parts about Hiroshima, Nagasaki and made it a generic movie, pretty sad that they removed the key parts of the movie and people not learning what actually happened in 1945.
I love how they're all still such sharp online content creators that don't sound corny or tired - it's a real show to watch week by week.... I mean especially after taking a lot of time off to rest from online content
BIG CANNON SUGGESTION: Mount a second barrel on top of the first (split the air output line, of course) build in a 1/10th second delay, shoot one camera right after another, so you can film the projectile "in flight."
