Wow that looks so easy to make. I love how simple your videos are. I also appreciate the extra detail you add to make the table look unique, despite it being a simple table. Nice job.
Keith, I was looking at your workshop at the start of the video as you piled the lumber on the workbench , and then recalled your original workshop that you built (at your previous house) , which was more of a shed on a tiny footprint with a workbench no larger than a coffee table , at the back of your house. And now you have this grand workspace. Congratulations for coming a long way. I found you during those formative years and naturally being a weekend warrior myself with the same limited resources I could relate instantly...I often wondered how you remain in your neighbors good books... anyhow, its good to see that you have progressed and now living closer to your dream.....I kinda envy you...
Looks good to me. Attaching the leg frame to the top works for me. I agree you might be a little over the top with the centre support and extra screws, but hey, your table and not any extra expense so go for it.
If you've only come here for Dylan skip to: 00:01; 02:01 (Dylan doesn't care about boots); 07:30 & 07:39. It doesn't matter how unconventional it is if it works.
Dylan! Oh, coffee table’s pretty good too. ;-) I’ve got a 6-seater circular outdoor table to build. Just going to use 2x6’s and 3x2’s so now I’m feeling inspired!
yeah it is getting ridiculous. I find it's best to get it from local shed building companies - they buy in bulk so get much better prices. I got these 2.4m lengths for about £4 each
Nice looking table and simple to make. I like ITS as a company and I can see why you have them as a sponsor of your channel but I would suggest that you don't tell everyone that the free gift pack is worth £30.
@@RagnBoneBrown Keith. Much appreciated. I think on watching either this one or the next you mention the my tools section and I did indeed find it. But having binged about a years worth of you videos in the space of a few days I couldn’t remember which one I left the comment on. So felt like a pest when I heard it and checked for my self. But yay personal response. Woohoo I know you’ve a new house/ workshop/ table saw. But would you recommend that dewalt one you had? I’m having an extension built at the moment and am looking to get a mobile unit for a very narrow garage/ workshop
It's nice, shame its about £200 to get that much 2×3 at TP at the moment, "15% more next month", our local reckons. They've been saying that (and acting on it) every month for a while now.
@@OliWarner I have no idea how much wood costs in the UK, nor in Slovakia where I live. I only know that prices went up. Till the end of May all stores were closed here. Since then I haven't been shopping for wood because I don't need it at this moment. The nearest store where I can buy wood is 40 km away, so maybe in autumn I'll go there.
@@hansdegroot8549 It's getting close to that here. Major suppliers are having local supply issues of staple building supplies, no available dates. Many manufacturers trying to cut out suppliers too. Getting a bit nasty.
A little bit April Wilkinson style, meaning she has all the tools in the world but often just slams some construction timber together with the most basic of joints that can be made with simple hand tools and a couple of free hours. It will work but it looks a bit like slammed together construction timber 😄
