I've done a few jobs like this and they are far from as simple as they might seem. Dealing with walls that are not flat or vertical or don't meet at right angles. It can be very frustrating to get, for example, the door to sit properly in the frame. I think you did a great job of it, it turned out really well. Nice one!

Lots of interesting ideas there on how to install a custom cabinet into an awkward space. I would not have thought of cutting those uprights short but you are correct that there is no reason not to! Still, I was looking forward to all the comments complaining about the light switch and you took away that fun.

Loving the faces as you unload the van lol. Experience tells me that magnet won't hold. Not a criticism of you like, It's just how stuffed these cloak cupboards get! They'll be be down B&Q for a latch before long I'll wager. Nice one Kieth. Good to see you're getting a variety of jobs in bud.

Air nails can stabilize your connections, to keep from twisting, along with the screw being used as mechanical hold. Of course I would still use the glue for added measure.

Amen, Watcher. Many of the makers who have been popular for years are doing blogs or reviewing products and such nonsense. I guess all of us run out of creativity at some point, but in any case I'm glad that Keith is hanging in there and hey, he's got the best legs of all of the blokes, doesn't he?
@RagnBoneBrown

Thanks I appreciate it. Project videos don't perform well, unless it's something big or wacky.... I think that's why not many people do them anymore.... Videos about tools usually do far better. It's a shame.

Nicely done. If you have to, you could move switch to the new left wall of your closet. If you have to. Otherwise you might end up in Narnia looking for the switch once the closet is full. 🤓 Interesting ideas seeing how you solved the problem.
