At 7:20 I was thinking: no please don’t play the song I’m gonna cry Then when it started I f ing balled my eyes out. That Tom with a halo was a punch to the heart.
To be honest, the cat could be saying stuff like "did I Leave the toothpaste open?" "now, where'd the mouse go...." or "oh no, hairball day!" but no matter what, a cat's adorable meow melts my heart. Cat's are the personification of cute.
Same here. I loved waking up to my family's one cat crouching next to my head purring in my ear. Would always give her a hug and a kiss on the head before going about my morning routine.
My cat Barney looks exactly like Ralph, the only caveat is he meows like a baby and barely talks to talk crap after throwing books to the floor or asking for food lol. Love this ❤️
I can relate to the ralph and tom story, except for mine, it was Allie and Daisy. Ally was around eighteen in human years, and we had to put her down because she started refusing to eat. I guess Daisy was unsure what happened, because whenever our three dogs were outside, she would walk around, and meow in that tone of, "Hey, where are you? I'm looking for you." It's been a year, and she still is looking for Allie to this day. It's just heart-breaking the way she won't stop looking for her best friend ;-;
Good job, Chris! I'm sorry for your loss of Tom. Just today, I watched a video of a cat playing the piano. I subscribed to them for two reasons. First, (this is sort of two) the mom really recorded her cat choosing what notes he wanted to play and praised him for doing so! And second, it truly looked like he was playing the song of his people (cats?) I felt like I got a true concert from a cat who was trying his best to put on a concert for the people for which his mom was recording. I was blessed and lucky to get a chance to see this concert where the cat really chose his notes well! As soon as I find her page again, I'll send it on to you. Y'all (Southern US slang for 'you all') need to get together and put together a kitty band! I know I saw a kitten playing a guitar a few months ago. I'll start a Google search to find him again. I feel like cats do have a language of their 'people', and it's more than meows! They absolutely have something they want to say! I know it sounds stupid to many, but there are kitties out there who want us to know some of them have rhythm and can share their songs with us. I guess I have spent(wasted?) enough time watching cat videos to see a pattern or hear a call out to the masses that cats have something they want to share with their best friends! Good job, Chris! I will get back to you with a page name and of course the soulful male cat and his mom who shared their ideas of the music Mr. Cat played!!! That young ginger cat will be a great addition to your Ralph's lyrics!! I really mean it! I can't wait until y'all get hooked up to work on the music and the lyrics!! It will be an amazing concert! Definitely much better than those cat food commercials! That band is fake atrocious!!!
i appreciate so much how hopeful and inspiring you are in your videos, even during such heartbreaking times. you have a wonderful view point on life and these inevitable things :'D
Well cats need comfort in time of distress too. And the searching thing is why I will let my living cat sniff and interact with the passed away one for a bit so it can understand whats going on.
Y’know, Tom died way before we got our kitten, indi. She looks a LOT like tom, so I’ve begun to think that she is tom’s next life, it’s a nice thought ^^
7:20 broke my heart, tore it to shreds, stepped on it, through it in a furnace, and I just met these cats an hour ago. Man I love Tom rest in peace long cat.
"Meow" is a noise domestic cats make to get attention from humans, so cats that want and can consistently get attention from humans will do it more often. Seems Ralph has always liked the attention of humans, hence him being unusually talkative.
*_I have a black cat named Nibbles/HerseyBear._* *_The name is self explanatory, a cat who likes to nibble, and a very black floofer, she is adorable._*
I kinda felt stupid for tearing up every few seconds of watching this. My cat can barely meow, but I know she's content whenever she lays down on may lap asking for cuddles.
I just want to inform you that this is my (service) dogs favourite video and she is very happy you made it. I had to play it again and again for her and she preferred Ralph's version of the outro over yours XD.
My ginger cat grieved heavily for his best friend, who he grew up with. They have deep emotions and a range of feelings like we do, but far fewer negative ones.
Fun fact: cats meow, not to communicate with other cats, but to communicate with humans (with other cats, they growl and hiss, but never meow) So ralph is really having conversations with you, they just don’t make sense for either party Edit: some people have said this isn’t true. But here are two articles I found! www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/all-dogs-go-heaven/201809/why-do-cats-meow-humans pets.webmd.com/cats/guide/cats-excessive-meowing#1
Cats definitely meow to each other. You can't tell me otherwise when my Siamese cries for the other cat in the house to come out of hiding or something so they can play or cuddle lol
Fun fact, kittens say "ME!", as teenagers it evolves to "MEW!" and when they become adults it changes again to "MEOW!" ...but not my cat he just screams "NYAAAH!" at me....
most keyboards don't actually use recordings, but rather synthesize the sounds... and wave tables keyboard generally use very tiny samples that get mixed together with synthesization rather than full recordings of full notes
