for upgrade, i would suggest speaker stands . If not look at the products by isoacoustics. they have a mini speaker stand and isolation pucks. the pucks works well underneath my turntable

Audio gear new or vintage is a rabbit hole. Match your budget and your room size as a rule. Dum looks decent or something like U Turn and some powered speakers.

Have you played with speaker placement? The look very close to front wall to me. You may get much better imaging by pulling speakers out by 3-4 feet. Some speakers (e.g. some Klipsch) are designed for right up the wall, but most are not. Also play with toe in. I notice that that one speaker is more toed in than the other in the video, because one speaker you see face on, on the other you see some of the side panel. The best of all, it costs nothing to change speaker placement. Looks like an easy plug&play system. This system in this room has the potential to get the stereo experience with center channel, instruments beyond the speakers, disappearing speakers. Once you experience that, you may get hooked on the gear axis. That's what happened to me a couple years back. Now my cartridge alone cost more than this entire system, and I hear differences from Ortofon Red-blue-black to now a SoundSmith MC cartridge, even on weird indie records (Swesor Bhrater, Zanias, Sounds Like Winter, The Ex, Nice Strong Arm, etc.).

I have this system minus the sub. The speakers are the stars. Then the amp and the turntable IMO of course. Really interested to see what they decide to come out with next. Great owner and company btw.

I am an AUDIOPHILE, and so are you and many other people and they don’t know it! It’s not about high cost, it’s about pursuing high quality sound within your mean and become very satisfied with it. Don’t let rich people who love to show their $100,000 systems make you believe you are not an audiophile because your system is not expensive. It’s all about making your system sounding magnificent to you and you alone. That’s an audiophile.

Those pieces are gorgeous. The Art Deco look is 👌🏽 if I didn't already have newer speakers I'd get those. My room suggestions are cool colored lights and a base guitar so you can start a band with your girlfriend! 🤩

I did a similar thing in my house. All of my records are in a room with a turntable that has a headphone amp attached. But in my living room I have a setup with my nicer turntable and speakers.
