Love that you tested the time saved as well :D I thought of doing so myself, but I guess now I don't have to. One thing to consider as well is that you'll need time to get your folder out of your closet and set it all up. So it might be worth waiting until you have 30 shirts ready to be folded :'D
This is dope. I was in the same predicament, and decided to engineer a folding machine. I print hundreds of t-shirts a week so this machine comes in clutch.
Cool video! Love the jokes too! Seems like there are 3 moving/folding flaps, and one stationary piece. Can you add a conveyor belt(or something similar) to push the folded clothes along, just before the loop resets? Maybe you can place it over a table, and the folder shirts/tees just fall into a neat stack.
I love how it looks and sounds like a wounded seal flapping on the beach. Lol. What a great video and channel! Just what I was wanting in life!! Subscribed!
I hate folding clothes and thought of how to make a robot to do that for me that's why I'm here and ended up having a great time watching this =)))) Appreciate the work you put into this video and wow you got to refold all those shirts!!!
And once again an amazing build and video! Dude, I need this shirt folder myself, I'm gonna be living with friends instead of my parents, so I'll have to do my own laundry soon and I just need this in my life. But the editing this time was phenomenal, keep it up, it's amazing!
@@Baker_FPV Thanks for watching the video! I used some generic DC motors with some gearing to increase torque. I have a link to the exact motors in the video description.
While I want to say I came here because of the DIY, I stayed for t-shirt folding extarvaganza :). Also zip-ties instead of screws? How fancy and hacky. I loved the video and how you present it, just a whole package.
Loved this video, want to see a robot arm that grabs it out of a laundry bin and spreads it out on the folder. and picks up the folded item and places it in a laundry basket.
Still relevant i see. The companies that were working on this laundry folding projects, folded the company in 2021 i think. I am gonna make my own too now. I am tired of laundry
Damn when I first saw your video I expected you to have 100K+ subscribers. What a great content man! You definitely should keep it up, I'm sure it will pay off.
Oh HELL YEAH! I'm so here for this. Love your philosophy on learning for the build. OH MY FUCKING GOD you time stamped it for people referring back to the video YOU LITERAL GOD. Have you been doing that already and I didn't notice? I should sleep.

High quality vid…How are you not blowing up yet? Also I am interested in learning electronics and coding…Do you mind telling me how you learnt how these things and if you have some tips for someone that wants to create things. Thanks
Really great! Thank you for sharing. When I saw it can make sandwiches I knew I had to make one myself. Don't get me wrong: This is very inspiring and I appreciate your idea. Anyways I would be looking forward to a version 2.0 with more consistency (maybe by mechanical adjustments), and no final fold needed. I mean - you are not sooo far away :-)
This was epic. Great build video. I'm building something like this with my daughter for her science project and we're going a little more basic than the arduino on the electronics cuz... well dad's not there yet! But this calls for a subscribe.
Hey ty, i follow your project from zero to finish but my all my 3 md10c driver motor, B (which direction to turn 180 back) not working , do you have any idea why ?
I use Solidworks by Autodesk. It’s the software I learned in school and use every day at work. They have free versions like Fusion 360 for home-gamers!
Hey! Thanks for checking out the video! To draw up the diagrams I actually used photoshop lol. There are sites out there like Fritzing where you can draw up diagrams pretty easy. Hope this helps!
where i can get yellow pieces? or any suggestion that i can use other than that?? i really hope you notice me because i need to finish my final year project. thanks have a nice day.
Hey! I made a project write-up on Arduino.cc and electromaker where I have downloads of the files and codes. You could easily use a piece of cardboard to glue around the motors, making a base which you could then fix to the base platform. And with enough epoxy and a tube that fits over the shafts, you could make a replacement for the couplers. Good luck man! Let me know if you need any help. create.arduino.cc/projecthub/typalowski/automatic-shirt-folding-machine-88fb92
Yes you can of course, the code will be slightly different and you will need a different driver board to supply enough power to the motors. Not sure if the ones I show here are compatible with servo motors.
@@TyPalowski my lecturer want me to put some exception handlin but i don't know how to code can you help me with that? Which is: When you pust the button more than 10 times, the led light will light up.
