Every year I am late with Christmas Diy’s. I could enter for the giveaway, but I feel like there are people in greater need of a 3d printer than me. I can simply cast stuff out of aluminum if I need a more complex shape for a project. Making the molds takes time for sure but It also gives me the sensation of improvement. Also for a moment I misheard you say "parrot cutter" and was very confused.

How do you know or make your 3D-pints food safe? Biggest problem I found is that nearly all the nozzles got led in them... I tried linsed oil on the fillament to burn it into the nozzle like treating a cast iron pan... on the otherhand material and form of the fillament can be problematic...

I don't worry too much about it for this kind of use. A few years after making the video, I still use the cutter a few times a months, but only to cut carrots. That said, I want to remake the cutter in metal....because I do use it often enough. I never knew that there is lead in nozzles. Thanks!

@@ShakeTheFuture Maybe PCBway can sponsor you? They produce metal parts cheap as far as I know. I once watched a video from Prusa on food safety and printing, I think they coated it by spraying.

I guess that depends on a person. I personally find these both things very useful. I use the carrot cutter all the time (when I need to cut carrots this way). Interesting to see how opinions differ. Thanks for the feedback!
