That silicone donut mold was really cute. Next time you could put it on a cookie tray so you don't have to pull the whole oven rack out. Crazy how flexible it really was and took you and your mom to carry it to the oven! The way you decorated the cat and pig donuts was really freaking adorable!! You are very creative when creating their faces!! Glad to see that you and your mother loved them.. We will take one each girl! They looked yummy! Great video and love you to the mother effin' moon!

when using silicone baking molds, especially such a big and wiggly one like this, its easiest to just pop them on a baking tray or cookie sheet (before you fill the molds) and bake them on it!

You've already heard about the cookie sheet under the silicon so I'll skip that one. Also a pig suggestion that may or may not work. Dip a previously set aside chip into the 'pigskin' color glaze and press it into the donut by the pointy part. The glaze will hopefully help adhere it to the pig face. And onward as before.

Hey meimei and mama meimei! Never tried a baked mochi donut before, but it sounds really good. We love brown sugar in baked goods it adds such a great caramel flavor. That's wild that you went to 14 different supermarkets to find the Ube extract. Too bad you couldn't have ordered it on Amazon.. but they were probably all sold out there too LOLOL! Love that bright purple color.. so pretty!!

Omg you guys need to try it!! It's so yummy! Even if you don't have ube extract you can use vanilla extract instead! Hahah buying ube extract online is SO much more expensive, literally 5x the price 😭

Yayyy! another mama Meimei approval. Your mom couldn't wait to eat haha I would be sad too if I had to eat the face, too cute to eat indeed! Love this recipe, and I will try it for sure. 😍 Now remembering we also have donut pans (yes two donut pans, one for mini donuts, one is a similar size to yours) that are sitting nicely in our kitchen cabinet, haven't touched them for years since I made baked donuts last time. It's now time to use them!

Place the silicone mold with donut batter onto a cookie sheet, then transfer to oven. Easy to transfer and no spill. I appreciate yr creativity and effort in trying new recipes, but please tie yr long hair back when cooking, for safety and hygiene reasons.

LOL on the first bake when you needed to ask mom carrying the donut pan to the oven 😂 Praying for the second bake you would use a square pan or something at the bottom to carry it easily to the oven and you did! haha Well done 👏

Oh my gosh I actually use Snixy Kitchen’s recipe to make Mochi donuts too! I make them ALL the time, I actually sell different flavors using her recipe!! I make Earl Gray milk tea, matcha Azuki cereal, chocolate, black sesame, mango, ube, and strawberry!! We are like sisters ahahaha
