i made claire saffitz's CARROT & PECAN CAKE and it is as delightful as she is 

i have the utmost respect for ‪@CSaffitz‬ ! she's taught me a lot and i so appreciate her approach to food and baking as portrayed via the internet. this cake did not dissappoint and it actually freezes really well if you don't eat it all in one sitting or perhaps if you don't want to share it with your friends.
