Crazy work behind this, both making the game and editing the video bit by bit. I really like your channel dude, as someone who aims at becoming an indie dev your channel is a true source of info and inspiration. Keep making great content!
The city actually looks so cool!!! My main focus in UE4 so far has been on combat, I really need to get into learning some map design. I bought a bunch of cyberpunk city assets but when it comes to actually putting together my own map, it’s pretty overwhelming. I’m usually stuck just copy pasting existing buildings in the example map and moving things around.
@@NathanRech Dude , this is not a "GOOD LOOKING" game. By good looking you guys mean only reflections and some uncanny looking characters. Just calling unity "Bad" without looking into it is a bit condescending. Unity has good render pipelines too. Most good looking games made with unity use the paid version of unity , while does not show the infamous "MADE WITH UNITY" logo when the application is run. Unity's HDRP ( a render pipeline) is really good. It can render Unreal Quality images. Most " unity vs unreal engine" showcases shown on youtube is years old. Unity has improved drastically. If unity was that bad of a game engine why is it more used that unreal ? *something to think about* Please My friend , I don't mean to start a comment rage battle. Please do more research and stop spreading hate amongst communities. *Went on bit or a rant there* Have a good day my buddy !
Great video man. Absolutely loved it. Also learned at lot form it, so thanks for that as well. But the best part?. Those little jabs at Cyberpunk's quality. Oooh icing on the cake never tasted sweeter.
I love this content. Cool to see so many people felt like Cyberpunk 2077's release was more artistically inspiring than anything else. I'm also doing a cyberpunk overworld project with lowpoly stylized assets.
Honestly if you'd make this into a course it'd help a lot of people. This is some stuff I would like to know: How do your animations work even when characters have different clothing on? (weight painting) How do you package and run your dedicated server? Also, if you'd want to release this as a commercial game I'd think it could become relatively big honestly. Just add a level progression of sorts, unlockable cosmetics, profile stats and there you go~
I cover animations with custom character clothing in my custom character clothing tutorial on my channel. Should be like 3rd video I’ve uploaded. Also I go over how to make a dedicated server in another video on my channel! Working on another game / project that I think will be bigger than this. Stay tuned :)
Man this is so much better from the original. It is more fun and it even took you wayyy much less time than the actual thing which is a big disappointment. I would love it if you continued making it but you probably won't xd. Anyway it is really cool
