Yeah, Electro traveler is basically Kuki Shinobu - if she had no healing, less range, less uptime, was massively burst-reliant and just a huge pain in the ass in general lol
Ohhh I love this! I knew about Thundering Furry, but I had no idea the Traveler's burst worked the same way! I'm absolutely amazed that you've been triple crowning every version of the Traveler you do a video for... that takes more dedication than C6ing Bennett, if you ask me. It's a shame this build can't be used in Imaginarium Theatre, aka the reason I just slapped a passable support build onto Electro Traveler myself, but this video was really fun.

Nah, not really. Like my Dehya team has never been more powerful, because Emilie gave me the strong off-field DPS I've been wanting forever. And keep in mind, the closest thing this team has to a buffer is Nahida. No Benny, no Furina, no Xil, none of that. They just keep adding things that make my team stronger, until finally Emilie. Heck, next patch, it's getting stronger again, as my Kuki will doing an extra 50k+ per rotation (and nope, not from hyperbloom, no hydro on the team). And in the meantime, I'm busy farming the burn set, because, well, my Emilie's set still leaves much to be desired. Stupid artifact RNG. And overall, we keep getting stronger supports, stronger off-field damage dealers, and just access to more characters in general (meaning we're more likely to have an optimal choice, like just how much better than Fischl Emilie was for my Dehya team). Furina revitalized Noelle. Xianyun let you play Diluc without actually playing Diluc's kit. Xilonen amps up various geos. And so on. The main thing is that, with more five star supports and off-fielders, the four star ones are starting to feel like, well, four stars, barring the niche support ones. And if that's what you've been relying on to flesh out your team, yes, you're going to feel weaker. But if you pick your DPS characters, then give them the support they want, we have so many viable team options these days.
Absolutely not, abyss has been getting easier now that we have a wide range of characters, and you don't have to be reliant on the strong ones. I don't even use Arle or Neuvi in the abyss and instead just Childe international and hyperbloom with dendro traveller, kuki and xinque with the fourth slot being anyone who can fit in like Sucrose, Diona, etc. I don't know if those teams are still in the meta or not but Childe is a damn ancient DPS at this point and my hyperbloom team is completely F2P and I've not had problems with the abyss recently even though I'm a terrible player lol.
@@kitsune_gt Dehya, Kuki, Nahida, and Emilie. It's a team that takes advantage of Dehya's toughness, maximizing her on-field time, without trying to force her bad-multiplier self into being a carry. It has good app of 3 elements, so always useful on one side or the other. Crazy ability to soak/shrug off damage, with enough damage to comfortably clear. And lots and lots of on-field Dehya time. - Dehya tanks and punches stuff. She provides pyro, which Emilie wants for burn, Nahida for a DMG bonus, and Kuki so she can overload. Her elemental skill also protects the squishes for the brief time they are on the field. As is the nature of Dehya, more cons is better, of course. C1 so the hp you should have helps her damage more. C2 for better elemental skill uptime, plus so you can pick up the field an extra time (doing so reduces the damage ticks from the delayed damage a bit). And so on. - Emilie kills stuff. Simple, but someone has to do it ;) And she does it turret style, with minimal on-field time. I ran Fischl here before. Cleared every Abyss that way since Dehya's release until Emilie's, but Emilie is much, much better. - Nahida buffs EM for the reactions, also helps kill stuff. Her ability to link together enemies that are spread apart, so handy for killing off ranged enemies and such. Ideally, you want at least c1, so it counts as having 2 electros, 2 pyros, and 1 hydro the team. C2 for the def debuff is even better, of course. Also, uses Deepwood so Emilie can be in burn set. - Kuki provides the healing, and is capable, at C4+, of triggering 11 reactions per 15s. This translates to lots of Overloads (which hit for 20k+), plus some dendro ones. Knockback isn't an issue, because Dehya's burst AoE plus auto-tracking, Nahida's link, and Emilie's turret auto-targets. She's electro, which Nahida wants to reduce the ICD on her elemental skill procs. EM focus on the artifacts, but do stack the hp% on the EM pieces as well, since her healing is dual scaling, with both EM and HP. Mine heals for 3600 to 4400, depending on where her hp and the various EM buffs she gets are at. This team also has pretty good elemental app of 3 types, so is always useful on one side or the other. Doesn't care what enemies do. Doesn't sweat rotations that much. Freely roams around the field, so Dehya can happily go punch that guy over there she feels needs punching right now. Not the highest DPS, but plenty powerful enough to comfortably clear. I like it because I think it is a more lore accurate Dehya (on-field, bodyguarding the squishies and happily punching stuff), while using Kuki without hyperbloom, and Nahida mostly being there to deal damage. It's not how people tell you the characters should be played, but it works. Worth noting some people also like to use Dehya with Chev, Raiden, and I think Fischl? Can't quite recall who exactly they used as the 4th. But that's another way people use Dehya outside the norm, with a bit of an overload focus. There, Raiden helps ease Dehya's energy issues, while Dehya's defensive aspects mean Chev's healing is good enough. But anyway, suffice it to say there are effective teams for an on-field Dehya that don't try to force her into being a hypercarry.
@Axterix13 that's just it, Abyss should always be complete-able with 4 stars. I shouldn't *need* xilonen on one side and kazuha on the other to compete. If you start invalidating half the roster, you start alienating your player base
EMC has some cool synergy with Raiden, since the ER buff will scale her damage higher from her passive. My Traveler is built physical, and I use them both in tandem as a dual DPS to pretty good effect. I’ll also say that EMC is also a fantastic battery for chars that really struggle with energy costs, like Noelle. Something like Noelle/EMC/Furina/Xilonen would probably be solid.
@@Ventithegoatvent1_22 Raiden has a separate passive that boosts her electro dmg from her ER. It just doesn't work on Emblem, Dori's ER boost works for Raiden's passive too

Yeah because guess what? The players who get anxiety from abyss weren't doing it ever, so it doesn't matter if they make the current ones a little bit harder, because the only ones doing it are the people who want it.
The infusion override is kinda annoying, I only activated c6 benny because Furina took all the teams I had him on, now he’s locked to double pyro teams which isnt bad but I fear for future characters with infusion that could’ve worked well with him at c5
@Ozpawn Every character that would want Bennett and that has infusion has a protection on it so it cannot be overriden. The Genshin devs aren't stupid and know that Bennett is and probably will continue to be one of the most used characters in the game
YESSSS ! Join the C6 Bennett army !!! Trust me you won't regret it. It opens up waaay more team options than it closes. And it allows for many interesting and fun team comps.

Bennett c6 only 'ruins' these characters: Chongyun, Chiori, Keqing, Eula, Ayaka, c6 Dori, c6 Kazuha, c6 Lynette. (Lemme know if I missed some in the comments, guys.) Realistically, you wouldn't be using Bennett in freeze teams anyway since he can break the reaction, nor would you use Bennett in physical teams since Eula prefers mika furina anyway, Keqing's best teams are dendro aka aggravate/quickbloom in which bennett is cringe, and c6 Dori also likes to run dendro. So there's not that much of a loss, I think. Only Chiori, c6 Lynette, c6 Kazuha and Chongyun mains who use their normal attacks lose out. But even then, you can use other team comps with them and just skip running Bennett all together. Like Lynette tazer, Chiori mono geo, Chongyun plunge with Xianyun, etc. So is it really that much of a 'ruin'? It's debatable. Bennett's c6 enables and opens up way more teams than it closes, in my opinion.
As a C6 Chiori main, I must say that right now, C6 Bennett overriding her infusion is really terrible. Not that she absolutely has to use him, of course, but he IS one of the strong options for a variety of her teams, which obviously his C6 ruins. However, given what it does for the rest of my account, I still don't regret toggling it at all (also, it does enable her to become a reverse vape carry, which is kinda funny and pretty strong in its own right since the pyro infusion keeps her crazy normal attack scalings from her C6, and of course it allows her to do even more meme stuff like burgeon, so there's that). Sooner or later, other alternative supports will come, be it sidegrades or upgrades, and actually Xilonen already eased up the issue to an extent Other than that, I don't have C6 Lynette yet, but from what I understand, her best team is most likely a mono-anemo one with something like C6 Faruzan, Furina and Jean/Xianyun, so I think she's ok
@@clementlassalle4317 As a fellow C6 Chiori haver, I wouldn't want Benny with her anyway. Xilonen and Furina are two powerful buffers, and I'd rather buff a second DPS than further boost Chiori. Overkill is wasted damage, while diversified damage types with good elemental app make for a team that can handle a greater variety of situations. Added to that, with how fast stuff is dying, well, in the Abyss I'd have to leave Benny's circle to trash the next wave anyway.
@@Axterix13 yeah but that's you. I understand your pov, but it changes nothing to the fact that Bennett's C6 does, in fact, restrict Chiori's teambuilding. I'm happy that you're able to work around it, and truth be told I don't care that much either as I mostly play her solo, in mono-geo or as part of a flex double geo core. But it is nonetheless an issue, and it will remain one until they either release one or more viable alternatives to Bennett (Mavuika / Pyro traveler copium), or until they fix the issue itself (by either making all infusions impossible to override, or by making constellations togglable, or both)
@@clementlassalle4317 Yeah, it does limit options, for sure. Especially if, say, you wanted to use Xilonen or Furina, or whoever, elsewhere, while your Benny is available. Less options is less ideal. Really, Benny shouldn't overwrite her self infusion.
You will not regret C6 Bennett. I have not been in problems with him since I C6 him myself. I always was able to find others that worked same or better sometimes for characters I wanted to buff.
EMC is cool, but I’m glad to see another Chevreuse/Raiden overload team! I replace Fischl with Sara for the big Raiden Q numbers, but it’s cool that a team I made before really getting into meta team building is so similar to yours!
The Abyss hp% change is fine to do, yes. Allow me to explain why: Say they want us to have to deal 2m damage. Before, they would have to toss 4 waves at us. And as the damage we deal continues to go up, the number of waves must continue to go up. This greatly hinders characters that are not wave friendly, like Cyno or Eula. But if the hp of mobs goes up, then the number of waves can be reduced. And so the characters/teams that don't like new waves spawning all the time are now more viable. The key thing to remember: an individual mob's hp is not how much damage we have to do. And note this even applies to a single boss room, because we have 3m for two sides. This Abyss highlights that, where the upper chambers in 12-2 and 12-3 are very, very easy. Why? So that (non-geo) teams have the time they need to defeat the lower half bosses. So you might not like that the amount of damage we have to do keeps going up. That's fine. But given that it is going up, keeping the number of waves down is good for team diversity.
@@kitsune_gt They'll keep increasing the total damage we have to deal, because our damage keeps going up. And when that hits a certain threshold, yes, that'll require more waves. That, though, doesn't change that upping the hp scaling, so they can push the quantity of waves back down (or, if you want to take a nice negative view, so they don't have to increase it quite as fast) is, overall, a good thing.
The one thing i am surprised that EMC did super well is being a battery for Noelle. Due to my self imposed rules of shipping the two so they always in the same party.
sethos funnily enough work well with electro mc since even just a low energy he give it makes sethos charged shot lv2 shot faster (not the lv3 that pierce the enemy)
I foresaw the sharp increase in abyss hp. They made nuevilette so busted that they either had to make abyss harder or just allow it to no longer be a challenge for anyone who owns him.
1:30 No, Electro MC doesn't gain flat ER from their own kit, it's in the description. You can do it with two other characters if your ping is low enough to swap twice before the amulets are gone though
The most success I've had using Electro Traveller was with a Taser Ayato team. Traveller is actually used as a battery and sub dps, and the burst is great electro application when paired with Ayato's skill attack speed and his hydro application. At the time i was running the team with Kuki for healing and extra electro application along with Sucrose for shred and Em buff I dont know if its passable comp, but it was able to make me clear up to floor 9 of the abyss 3 star with very little investment. (Sad that when i finally tried dendro traveller, i realized how much better hyperbloom was and couldn't go back to taser comp, even though i really like Electro traveller)
You know what i've never regretted c6ing Bennett. I get that you do challanges and build niche characters, but all my characters have benfitted or had nothing change from c6 bennett. Honestly a overhated con
Thundering furry actually sounds like a fun comp! I might try it on an alt instead of my main though since I plan on getting kazuha c6 and Lynette c6 and I’m pretty sure it overrides both their infusions
With Benny's C6 you can trigger swirls on their swords, it's pretty weird. The infusion is all over the place but the auras react on the swords to an effect similar to Jean's Sunfire. (It happens specifically because they have "infusions" and not "conversions" on their normal/charged/plunge attacks). It's only noticeable with anemo, because the other reactions don't do anything. It's only really used to apply VV shred on enemies with permanent auras (like a self pyro swirl against the Hydro Tulpa), otherwise it's kind of just forgotten spaghetti code. The way the infusions react and the frequency they are applied determines what overpowers what, because Kazuzu and Lynette apply once per skill use and Benny applies once per second, pyro quickly overtakes them.
with the release of many top tier support's you won't regret c6 Bennett cuz he's no longer the only strongest support in the game trust me I did it a year ago and I haven't regretted it
These consecrated beasts are so tanky even Hyperbloom can't breeze through them. My fastest clears were with a Xiao and an Itto team. Around 45 seconds.
Really sorry to have to UMM ACTUALLY this, but there is a way to reduce Traveler's skill CD: picking up the amulets with other characters. I think you're "supposed" to swap and have 3 separate characters on your team each collect one amulet, but that's obviously unrealistic...
I’m playing since day one ( even if I didn’t for some reason completed the festering desire event , and still regret it ) IV never tried to play electro traveler 😂😂 . I had to play the anemo , geo was useful af , not gonna lie … but electro….😂 for me it’s like hydro traveler 😂. Dendro and geo mvp
If only gacha games would go back and make poorly designed things not complete garbage, alas they have 2 billion new characters to make you spend money on that progressively get better and better than the last ones
Fun fact: i refused to play bennet untill i had him c6 simply because i didn't like how he had no weaknesses..... still haven't used him since though..... as i stopped doing abyss before that point and haven't needed him since
