I made history as the first female driver to podium in Formula DRIFT USA. This has been a goal from the beginning of my drifting career, but a step to the bigger accomplishments in the future. We are just getting started!!
Really love your leads. Chasing is the hardest to do. Practice chasing as much as physically possible. Especially work on initiation and transitions, going from the door, backing out so the lead can transition, and getting back to their door again. You're amazing, but you can still get better. I believe in you!
Way to go! Great improvement from Road Atlanta. You definitely got the driving down, just drive with that passion and throttle commitment. Use the gas pedal to steer the car around the track, instead of saw the steering wheel and lift off throttle. The way the sport is now the cars only drive on throttle and committed, using angle to slow the cars down, left foot brake to add some angle and alot of clutch work to bring the RPMs or wheel speed back up on switch backs. The days of floating around the track are gone it seems. Im 31 and feel old been a drift fanatic since 2007-08 when the first livestreams started and its awesome to see new faces get on podiums. And I couldnt help but notice the car wizard in your corner, Dai's chief engineer/crew chief/spotter/carsetup Mike? I think his name is, he definitely understands what you have to do, to make the car drive. Love it!
youre youtube deserves more exposure, the first female driver to be competing in FD. beyond impressed!!! cant wait to see what you'll do at the next rounds
