That was such a nonstop busy week and you performed so wonderfully though all the physically and mentally draining trials of moving to a new residence and preparing for your concert. My goodness, you're an amazing young lady to be able to handle all of that stressful week while suffering a sore throat. I admire your tenacity. You definitely have the mettle of a professional, Tiffany! Keep up the good work hun!

Thanks for taking the time to edit & upload his video. Most people who go to concerts have no idea how much stuff is going on behind the scenes. And performers (especially ones who are starting their career) can see that weird stuff is not only happening to them 😥=>😌 Kudos to the piano technician; the piano ended up in top shape. Take care, get well, and keep striving! 👍

Hey Tiffany. We enjoyed your concert at Bad Kissingen very much! My wife really appreciated the beauty of the Scarlattis, and also the Liebermann. We‘ll be heading back to watch the closing concert on Sunday. Hopefully, you will have some good weather over the weekend and can enjoy the lovely town and area around it.

extane gautham basically women (and men as well) should dress however they want. The problem is only that these days it’s very often required by the management/agency for the soloist even in the classical music world

I hate playing when there is huge mirror/screen somewhere next to me on the stage (or even those mirrors you have sometimes in practice rooms), how do you feel about that? 😂 great vlog, felt so sorry about you in the beginning, I could feel how tired you were. Lots of power for Germany!

Apparently Alfred Brendel practised with a mirror besides the piano so that he could spot when he was grimacing - which he did a lot! - and try to stop this unappealing mannerism. (Didn't work!)

I have a similar issue with portraits- they make me feel uneasy and being watched (like in G. Orwell's '1984')- I would feel extremely uncomfortable i.e. playing on a stage where a gigantic portrait is hanging in the background. (Cartoons, oddly, don't matter to me at all. We all have our little quirks 😏)

I think I would love to play a piano with a mirror next to me because then I could see myself playing it and check how people see me from the audience (I love how people look while playing the piano ♥)

I count/calculate about 200 seats in that recital hall, lucky folks all of them!! I commented on the GKF channel that I especially liked that Presto Feroce movement from Gargoyles. I think the balance and flow of pieces was well chosen. The backstage insights here are great after watching the concert live last week. btw, before your concert, I also watched the technician's video on how one addresses soft unisons during an intermission. She seemed cool. I've just re-watched the Haydn Presto, and it has a certain playful quality which I can imagine being perceived as humorous. I think the laugh means something like "Ah Haydn, I see what you did there." Enjoyment is enjoyment, right? :)

you played beautifully. the articulation in the scarlatti and the haydn was, to me, very idiomatic. your chopin, especially, the c-sharp minor was perfect. what to say about your schumann, only that it was nothing less than romantic and grand. i didn't stay for the post concert activities (other than down a couple glasses of water) due to my aversion to social contact and a 2 hour drive back home...
