You should keep developing this. If the system is more optimized then it will be a great tool for doing animations. Please fix the pick up issues. On the planets you can’t pick up guns for some reason. Also please make the sandbox more optimized so that we can build easier in it including rotating parts and an easier way to change colors or have a preselected colors list. Also make a setting for the crosshairs if that was gone This can be an awesome tool for animation and rendering
I think the reason that there aren’t fully LEGO environments is because TT has stated that they wanted everything made out of lego in the game to be interactive . Meaning it’s very clear what in the environment you can interact with, versus what you can’t.
@@pixarboy02 Instead of fully interactable It could still be made like a traditional lego game as well just entirely built out of lego. I just would have to make certain objects stand out from the backgorund. Which is pretty much what the Skywalker saga does in most of their "fully lego" levels.
I'm fairly confident that part of the reason the official games don't feature fully-Lego environments is for gameplay purposes: it's easier to telegraph what players can and can't interact with if only the interactive (re; destructible) objects are Lego.
Imagine if you spent a year on one game, that shit would be the best indie of all time. Seriously some game company needs to hire this guy for lead design
am I the only one who likes it better? some of the Skywalker Saga missions are full LEGO and they look great, and the LEGO movie game looked way better than expected.
The amount of work this man puts in his videos is absolutley isnane. I love this channel, because you can tell that the videos are made with so much passion, not for the money.
i loved lego worlds until the game glitched and broke the story so i can only play sandbox but still having a full lego world in a lego came would be cool because being able to destroy everything in lego world and build anything was cooll

If you can maybe make the death star a bit larger idk add some stuff inside of it or maybe make some improvements to the flight mode like a boost or something would be cool asf!!! best shit I've found on the internet today ur a genius man keep it up:)

I'd like another Lego worlds game, it's a brilliant concept and I don't personally see how it didn't do well bit I do have some guesses No raptor No triceratops Kinda difficult to build Not even a pteranadon, just rex and celo... No small shark
I think a really fun idea for a game would be an mmo exploration lego game where you could just explore and build Legos with friends (and no I don't just mean lego minecraft although it'd be similar). I think a sandbox adventure game with lego mechanics and the ability to create stuff with friends would be awesome!

I think the realistic environments was a stylistic choice. They've done many games where the environments are made of bricks (TLM, some of Dimensions, TLNM, TLM2, and most notably Lego Worlds which had procedurally generated Lego environments that could be destroyed or built on).
I also like how TT games made it like you were playing with your in legos an outside environment which i'm sure many of us did and not making a full lego environment
Please can you actully take this up as a huge project and just work on it over a long course of time!! It could just be a thing that you can add onto every time that you feel like working on it. It would be so great!!
Unity isn’t trash, you get what you put into it. From what I understand it is similar to Maya in that it is pure bliss with customization and plugins. And the clip you showed of Lego Worlds seemed to have culling issues, seen around the edges of the screen. This could be solved with Nanite but there are also tradeoffs to using someone else’s game engine.
