I made Link! (Twilight Princess version)

Twilight Princess Link has always been my favorite Link, so why not make him? I had a lot of fun with this project, even though it took a LONG time to get it done between all the other things I was working on!
Which is your favorite version of Link?
And, more importantly, how hyped are you for Tears of the Kingdom? I can't wait!

Yes, yes, YES!! Love seeing Zelda dolls! Immediately subscribed. If you ever branch out from the more humanoid characters, you seem like the kind of person with enough skill to go for Zant, too!

In theory, you could also cheat the scabbard on the back with some magnets since that shoulder strap does seem a little thin. Also agreed! TP link is best link outfit! I also hope you make some of the tools he gets, hookshot, that beetle, or anything really. Also I look forward to all the photos, hehe~!

Amazing work! I love seeing male dolls and Link is one of my favorite characters especially the Twilight Princess version

Real clever to have Skyward Sword's Hylian Shield paired with the Master Sword in Twilight Princess. Hylian Shield on Link's right arm and the Master Sword in his left hand. If Nintendo decides on another Hyrule Warriors collab w/ Koei Tecmo, they should keep left-handed Link as the main protag, his green tunic over his chainmail and his long-sleeved shirt, his green hat on his head, his pants, and his boots from Twilight Princess's era, but w/ Skyward Sword's Hylian Shield (horizontal carry on his right arm) paired with the Master Sword (and the back scabbard in Twilight Princess).

Your sculpted head looks so good. The only thing the crafting police would come after you for (if they did exist) would be for being amazing ;) I've had both kinds of 3d printers too and it's such a difference. No fussing with the plastic not wanting to stick to the bed and no endless sanding of those micro lines. Resin is so much nicer

Oh my goodness, yes! The zoomies don't bother me as much, it's the teeth that are the issue. I know it'll get better, she's still teething, but ow, my hands!

That was one of the things I considered, I just wasn't sure how well my hands would deal with cutting or separating all those tiny bits! I think that one is a "someday" project, haha.

Ah, I forgot to mention that in the video! I made some and glued them in place, but they wouldn't stay on! I ordered some small drill bits so I can make them permanent instead. :)

Link seems like a pipular BJD to make, I've seen other peoples Links and now I want to make one of my own 😅 Also do you just start painting on the 3d printed head? Do you need to use sealant as the base layer or not?

I do use a base layer of sealant, but he didn't need any special preparation beyond that. :) It was the same as painting any other BJD head, really!
