Sue , meat is tough not hard. You cook it in your amazing new appliances to make it tender. That’s a lesson from a former English teacher, yours truly ❤😂. Just admire your energy. Batch cooking after a night shift! You go gal.
Hey Suzy, what also saves me time using my instantpot(IP) is getting an extra pot insert, so when I’m finished with one dish I exchange it with the next pot and begin on the second dish letting the first dish cool on the side.
Suzy, I have always washed my chicken before cooking it. Then washed my sink out so there was no cross contamination with other meat. I'm so impressed with the dishes you cook!! I cant wait to try them. I am amazed at how much food you made for $100, well done!!!
@@medindusa there’s actually a talk about how it isn’t healthy to wash meat cos the salmonella in the raw meat would cross contaminate the kitchen zinc, why do I have bleach and disinfectant if I can’t use it to disinfect.
Ohh yes, I bought myself a Crockpot multicooker around 3-4 years ago after my slow cooker pot cracked, and I have never looked back! I gave away my big stock pot and electric frying pan because this thing does it all! I use it multiple times a week, almost every meal, it has changed my life, and I love it so much! Especially in the winter, my favourite meals are soups and stews, and I make a lot of my own stocks and broths too, yum!
I believe one day, I'll be invited to that dining table coz wueh🤤I wanna dance after tasting your meals ,, the way you do your cooking naona tufanye a 120 hrs of cooking 😊

Suzy as the house help i cook mondaysto Thursdays iwash everything called meat with lemon we have a lemon tree outsider in the Garden bosslady cooks on Saturdays and Sundays and he washes the meat too ❤thank you
Yes, washing chicken is a must. When the butchers in Canada cut the meats and package them, they are not washed. The band saw, the knives they use or even their gloves can come in contact with the meat. We are then expected to wash them at home. Picture this and freak out, imagine they have an itchy nose or eyes....huh....it is fully natural for anybody, including the butcher to scratch or rub their nose. Wash wash wash your meats people. Your Instant Pot should have some presets. But I put my beef in with with seasonings, bay leaf etc and enough water to make broth, at about 20 minutes. Omg....pray for us here in Calgary Canada....the weather is forecasted to get to 34-35 degrees..... I am going to melt in this heat.
@@frugalitystartsathome4889 .....😅.... yes, all our main grocery stores have a butcher who cuts meats, puts them on trays, wraps them in plastic and slaps a price and weight sticker. Funny how different to hear about machines cutting chickens over there....that is one heck of a machine.
It's great to see you in another massive batch cooking video. You are so energetic and organized and a great blessing to your family. I see you've added decor updates to your kitchen since the last time I watched and I like the additions! Just to let you know I do wash my chicken and fish whenever I cook them. I don't always wash the pork or beef. It depends how long it has been sitting in the refrigerator before cooking it. I also do like to disinfect my sink and countertops to kill the bacteria. These are all things I learned from watching my late mom cooking. The women back in those days always washed the fowl before cooking and disinfected everything when cleaning. They also stuffed turkey at holiday meals instead of cooking stuffing separately. These days, the experts tell you not to stuff the bird. Makes you wonder why the dish is called 'stuffing'. LOL. BTW, we say 'tough' and 'tender' for what you are calling hard and soft meats.
You did a wonderful job. Beef and chicken are supposed to be tender. So you cooked them right. Much love from America. By the way. I clean my chicken and any meat I cook as well.
I once cooked beef for 2 hours. It was not getting soft. I thought it was horse meat so someone said horse meat is soft. I think the cow meat you bought might have been lean.
As always well delivered hun however sugar meals allows holes in the pocket, Brit’s don’t use sugar in food and save dental trips, while in the states its a queue at the dentist meanwhile Africans are admired for great teeth because of less sugar, by experience my dear x
All of your meals looked delicious. The goat tripe looked interesting reminded me of chitterlings I used to eat. Was it well received by the children? Do you cook fish?
Hello Suzzy, please share your experience on your new stainless steel sufurias.I have bosch and really to to upgrade to stainless steel.Give the testimonies pliz🙈
Nice one Suzie. Free range chickens are always the best. However, the reason some broilers taste bland is because they are not mature enough. Most farmers slaughter after about 8 weeks. Broilers that are slaughtered after 12 weeks are usually sweeter and the meat doesn't fall apart like the others. Instead of cooing your tribe for 3 hours, you may use your pressure pot instead and save on gas. Because of time, you can cook it ahead, freeze and then taw some hours ahead of when you're ready to use 😊
Thank you Eliza❤️! I use normal dish washing soap for the cooking pots. I use a Tefal vacuum cleaner. You can check out online or their a shop at ABC Place in Westlands.
Hi Beryl! Sorry about that. Try putting the food in the freezer where it will be frozen solid. It will last longer. Here is a video I did about how I store my freezer meals... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ukdTHLVJQuE.htmlsi=Bw4AGCrrUdh0D2Em
Hi Lucy! I let the food cool first. Here is a video I did on how I store the food... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ukdTHLVJQuE.htmlsi=rG5ueN7S2-oAgSe7
If your husband is your cameraman again, he knows too much😃. When my husband's seen the beef hart boiling (for the salad), he stopped eating that salad😢.
