I remember BEGGING my mom to let me get my nails done with acrylics. I was so that girl super young too. Love it! And love how you straight up say, I’m her mother don’t come for me. Stay true to you and the way you parent. Love that! 😎 I need a fill… lol

As the child of someone who got sober after I was born, I just want to say Abby you are amazing. You are doing everything that my mother failed to do. In my opinion you’ve put your daughter first you put her needs first and you’ve learned what works for you is what’s best for her like you haven’t made her conform to your lifestyle you’ve conformed in a way that is what’s best for Myla and that is just amazing❤

dude man I love you so much. Ur so inspiring and my mom has been in and out of sobriety and every single time she relapses it’s never good but now after many tears, praying, and missing her she’s finally getting it together. So I love you cause when I didn’t really have a mother (I have a stepmom but yknow she’d never really understand) yiu were my go to person to watch.

My daughter is 20 now but I started trying to get her nails done around the same age and we went through the exact same thing! She would bug me, I would relent and take her to get them done and they’d look SO cute, then they’d be off within a few days!! 😂 I think she was around 13 or 14 when she finally started keeping them on and nice!

I ised to get my nails done. Was one of my favorite things to do for myself. After a few years of doing it prices went out the roof! I unfortunately had to quit getting my nails done but i found these really awesome poly gel nail kits and they are AMAZING! you should look into getting her one. Might even be something she could make a future career out of ❤

Myla's nails are so cute! I think the contract was a good idea. I remember taking my little sister in law (then 13 y.o.) to get our nails done, and I only let her get longer acrylics because she said she didn't have PE or play sports after school 🤣

My 8 year old daughter wanted hers done with acrylics for the first time for her birthday. She shocked the hell out of me when she kept every single one on for 5 weeks! A few made it to 6, but swimming loosened alot of them.

My mom and I used to take my littlest sister (I’m 16 years older) to get her nails and toes done with us she didn’t get hers done as regularly as we did but more than the average 3-6 year old haha she loved it and you are an amazing mama!

I got my daughter’s nails done when she was way younger I mean it’s not a big deal you know I just don’t listen to people if they’re giving you crap about it and congratulations on Clinton baby girl I have almost 13 years, and I am so excited

i wasn’t allowed till i was 13, i was so jealous of the the other girls 😭… it made me appreciate them more. i personally wouldn’t let me 8 year old have acrylic just due to my lack of money for something like that to be taken off within 3 days, but i would never judge anyone else

I’ve made my daughter sign a contract too 😂😂 We even stamped her dad’s notary sticker on it & had our two pups “sign” with their paws as witnesses 😂😂 Also, I feel you on kiddos getting their nails done & then taking them off within a few days. Drives me nuts!

I do nails. And sometimes ill do my 9 yr. Olds nails. She also rips them off within a couple days. I did stilleto on her one time and she bent her natural nail backwards with the acrylic playing basketball. I got called to the school cause they didnt know what to do. Shes fine it went back with little to no damage. Short is the way we go now❤
